Elmer's pony potions had but one purpose, to bestow upon him the powers of a ponies cutie mark. He was unwilling to accept a random cutie mark as these tyrannical ponies had to. He hypothesized that a concoction could be distilled that would grant him the powers he desired, specifically the powers to control others, and the powers of the famous alicorn's Celestia, Luna, and Twilight Sparkle. Using those powers he could dominate all of Equestria and force the frivolous ponies to live as their downtrodden cow brethren. He sought to steal away the powers of Equestria's ponies for his own nefarious ends.
He knew, however, that in order to acquire the powers he desired, he would need to liquidate many different ponies to acquire the essence of their cutie mark powers. His process was simple. He designed a special brew that would melt down a ponies flesh, muscle, and bones, and leave only their magical essence in a liquid form floating atop the distilling concoction. He then took that essence and combined it with various catalyst's to create potions that would, in theory, bestow the particular magical qualities of the melted ponies cutie mark to the imbiber of the potion.
His method of testing the effectiveness of these potions was to ponynap an unsuspecting filly or colt and force them to drink the potion, made from essence of dead ponies. He would then note the effects. More often than not, the effects were terrible uncontrolled mutations, disfigurement, mental degradation, and often, outright death. These test subjects would then be tossed into the essence distillation concoction to create yet another potion to be tested on yet another innocent young pony.
His progress had been unbearably slow for many years, but, now, with the advent of the upcoming gathering of ponies from all over Equestria, he would finally have enough raw pony material to create his ultimate pony power potion, The Kragle. A potion infused with the powers of hundreds of ponies, capable of bestowing the magical properties of nearly every conceivable cutie mark. At last, he would have what he deserved. At last, he would be more powerful than even the royal Alicorn princesses of Equestria. He would become Elmer, Cow God!

His workspace prepared, and his notes organized, Elmer kept an eye as ponies began to arrive at their happy little gathering. He had several human employess that worked for him running his front business, Elmer's Glue. These employess had been given a potion that robbed them of their free will and rendered them enslaved to Elmer's mental commands. These would be the minions that would capture the ponies from their convention. He was able to capture several of the ponies before they were able to check in with the convention. They would not be distilled immediately, he needed to gather more base material for his potion.
As the first day of the convention began, he could hardly believe the multitude of ponies that were in attendance. Surely, this convention was the grandest, and most exclusive of it's kind. The talents possessed by the ponies in attendance were powerful indeed. He could hardly wait to begin, excitement building as he observed more and more amazing talents demonstrated by the attendees. The buffet of powers set before him filled his mind with thoughts of what he would become when he took their powers for himself.
His machinations were not entirely unnoticed however. He noted several of the ponies seemed oddly interested in his front business. One in particular seemed almost to observe his facility, as if this Pink hued colt was suspicious of Elmer's facility. At one point the pink pony even gathered several of his friends to bring attention to the facility. Elmer knew he would have to keep an eye out for this one in particular.
His minions were slowly capturing ponies from the convention, by the end of the first day he had nearly 30 in his prison deep under his home. Figuring most of the ponies would retire at night, he was amazed when the amount of ponies engaging in convention activities increased as the sun went down. As an added bonus, it seemed the vast majority of them had imbibed far too much cider. How easy, he thought, they were making it on him.
He dispatched his minions to collect as many of the inebriated con goers as they could. By the early hours of the morning his number of captives nearly tripled. This was going to easier than he could have dreamed. Satisfied with the success he encountered on the first day of this convention.

Elmer spend the final day of the convention melting away the other 150 ponies he had captured, delighting in the pain and suffering. His evil growing with each pony dropped into the dissolving liquid. The distilled essence of all these ponies had created a power potion of immense potency. Elmer immediately began preparing the solution into a potion to imbue him with the special talents of every pony he had dissolved. His beakers were ready, his tubes, full, his heart, dark. He was reduced to maniacal cackling as he watched the steady drip of liquid into the final potion glass.
Nothing could stop him now, he thought. He was minutes away from achieving his dream of ultimate pony power. Imagine, him, a lowly cow, ascending to heights of power unseen in all of Equestria. His lust for power was unquenchable, and yet he was on the verge of over indulging his hunger for power on a level even he did not dream of.
Meanwhile, at the convention, Luna and Celestia had rallied the remaining living ponies, and prepped them for battle. They set out for the Research and Development center. Five hours later, they were led by a directionally challenged pony in charge of handling the Princesses appearance at the convention, they arrived. Upon arriving, the pony leading them spotted a badge belonging to the pink pony Elmer had first melted. This pony had been a dear friend, and enraged at seeing the badge of his dead friend, he rushed head long into Elmer's factory, abandoning the advice of Luna and Celestia.
Hearing his front door banging open, Elmer realized the time was now. He grabbed the Kragle potion and promptly downed it, feeling the burning sensation as it began working its magic inside of him. He felt his form shifting, a mighty misshapen horn sprouted from his head covered in tumors and pestilent gaping wounds. Wings sprouted from his back, large, bat like and covered in sticky gluey particles. His bones elongated and splintered, joints forming in odd positions, giving him a disjointed, gangly appearance.
He could feel untold power coursing through him. Finally, he thought, the power of a god was his to behold. These pathetic ponies would pay for flaunting their powers and their friendships. Now it was his time to rise. Now was the time to go up and meet these feebleminded ponies and kill them all.
He made his way up towards the front door when encounter the first of the ponies to enter his R&D Center. He unleashed a hellish blast of energy, literally disintegrating him into atoms. Elmer rushed toward his door bursting out to see Princess Luna and Celestia with a veritable army of ponies behind them. He smiled, this is what he had been what he was waiting for his entire life. Retribution.
"YOU DESPICABLE CREATURE! You will pay for your crimes against my children!" Celestia screamed as she lowered her horn and charge the bovine abomination. She began channeling her magic into her horn as it coalesced into a massive ball of yellow energy as she made contact with Elmer's horn. An explosion rocked the city as the two opposing magics catalysed each other creative a massive explosion annihilating Elmer, his base, both Princesses, all the ponies from the convention and half of the city. There was a single survivor of this terrible tragic catastrophe, a single pony, sitting up in his hotel room alone, listening too music, his cutie mark, a smiling face with a pistol pointing at it, looking adorable in his hoody.
In the end, the convention went down in history as being a spectacular and majestic con, one to be remembered for all time.

This is my first ever fic. I know its terrible. That was the point. Trotcon 2015 was held in Columbus, OH at the crown plaza hotel. Less than a block from the Con venue was a Research and Development office for Elmer's Glue company, on the building were the logo's for Xacto knives and Krazy Glue. This was the inspiration for this story. I said i was going to write one when I was at the con, and now I have. Hope it entertains.

On a hot and muggy day in July, a small convention for ponies to gather and share in friendship was planned for the weeked. As ponies began to gather from all corners of Equestria, a troubled and demented Cow named Elmer sat in his home, The Elmer's Research and Developement Center. He had seen flyers and posters advertising the upcoming convention. Having recently ran out of test subjects for his vile alchemical creations, this was the best news he had heard in months. He began making preparations to create his most powerful concoction yet, a potion capable of giving him what he had always longed for. A cutie mark.
Being a cow in Equestria is difficult. Forced his entire life to watch as all these magical ponies developed special magical abilities represented by their cutie marks, his jealousy was deep seated from an early age. Realizing he would never have the privilege of enjoy a cutie mark and the numerous supernatural abilities that came with it, he decided to pursue alchemy. Determined to not let fate rob him of his dreams he trained in the alchemical arts, certain that a concoction could be created to grant him the powers he desired.
Years passed as he experimented on young fillies that had yet to manifest a cutie mark. Each potion more disastrous than the last. It was slow going, it proved difficult to find enough test subjects without alerting local authorities to his activities. This convention would be the opportunity he needed to finally perfect his recipe. And he would have plenty of ponies to dissect for their abilities, and plenty more to test his creations on.

After a successful night of illegal Ponynapping, Elmer looked forward to the new acquisitions he would make on the second day. However, his minions began reporting that the convention had increased their security, and a limo had been seen bearing the royal seal of the Princess of the Sun and Moon. This complicated things greatly, with Celestia and Luna present, his activities would have to become more covert. The last thing he wanted was to alert them to his plans before he had created his masterpiece and was powerful enough to put an end to their lives for good.
He ordered his minions to fall back, wait for nightfall and take advantage of the cider-adled ponies lack of judgement. Frustrated that he would not be able to operate during the day he instead simply observed the goings on of the convention. It was later in the afternoon when that same pink pony from before was spotted snooping around the R&D front entrance. He decided to act, and dispatched his minions capture the overly curious pony. After putting up a bit of a fight, they brought him in successfully. Elmer decided to interrogate him, to find out more about the abilities of the ponies at the convention. The pink one however, was stubborn and resisted all attempts to pry information from him. Elmer decided this was as good a time as any to begin the process of seperating the magic from the fleshy body in which it was trapped.
He lowered this pink pony into the distilling liquid and laughed as the pony screamed in agony. He always loved the way the ponies bodies melted away, skin slowly dissolving into the acid bath, bits of bone and organ tissue seeping out into the broth, cutie mark glowing with magical energy. This ponies cutie mark was interesting, the comedy/tragedy masks except with both of them smiling. This pony wasn't smiling now. Elmer was the one who was smiling as the pony's screams ceased as his head went below the toxic mixture, hair and portions of his face floating to the surface of the solution before dissolving along with the rest of him. The cocktail, having removed the fleshy bits from the magic now glowed with the magic in the cutie mark. He siphoned the magical liquid off into a beaker and capped it, grinning evily as he examined his first dose of cutie mark magic. This was going to be his day, his day of destiny.

Having already distilled the cutie mark of Sir Pinky, Elmer decided to distill the ponies he had already captured while his minions were busy collecting more of the night going ponies at the convention. That evening was a dark and dismal day for the ponies that lost their lives to Elmer's power mad alchemical activities. He delighted in the screams of pain and anguish as one after another ponies were lowered into the distilling agent to be desolved into their core magical essence. The screams echoed deep under his base. After several hours he had a vat saturated with pure magic essence of nearly a hundred ponies cutie marks. He was close to realizing his goal, and after harvesting the nights recent captives for their essence he would nearly have his magic Kragle potion ready to consume and unleash his jealous fury upon the pompous princesses of Equestria.
While he was engaged in melting ponies, Elmer's minions had gathered another 150 ponies to distill into the base magic essence. The disappearance of so many ponies had finally caught the attention of princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They were seen looking around for signs of the disappeared ponies. There were few clues left behind. At the begining of the last day of the convention, they finally had a break in the case when a human walking near the convention reported seeing some other humans dragging several ponies towards Elmer's factory. They decided that action must be taken. They gathered the staff of the convention and armed them with powerful magic relics. They began planning their assault on Elmer's Research and Development Center.
