Darkened Souls and Shattered Moons

Soulstone woke as the sun shined on his eyes through the open blinds on his window. The grey stallion climbed out of his bed and mad his way down the stairs to his kitchen where he started to make some hay bacon and pancakes. He hummed to his self as they cooked when a knock sound from his door. He made sure his food was finished before turning it off and going to the door. At the door was a Canterlot guard, holding a letter in his hoof." Princess Celestia and Princess Luna told me to bring you this letter sir, they said to read it as soon as I give it to you."

Soulstone smiled and nodded, taking the letter and going back into his house was the guard left. He opened the letter and read what was inside. The letter read as followed, " Dear Mister Soulstone, Me and my sister Luna wish for you to come to the castle as soon as you can. We understand you have knowledge of some foreign lands near Equestria and wish for you to lead a party to find who ever has decided to declare war on our nation. We entrust you and the other two ponies we re sending with you will succeed  Sincerely, Princess Celestia. Soul quickly ate his food then went up stairs to pack his saddle bags, grabbing some of his maps, his compass, and so on. He also grabbed his sword and travel gear before setting off to the train station that would take him to Canterlot.

Once he got there he ran into his two old friends, Majik and Shattered Moon, both of which where tall, large unicorns that Soul has known since her had arrived here in Equestria. They both were dressed up in travel gear, as well as carrying their own weapons and saddle bags." So I see your the third member of the party." Shattered said in his heavy, Northern accent." I guess so." Soul said as the train pulled up to the station. The conductor got off and Shattered showed him a letter of some sorts. He nodded and took them to the back of the of the train, opening a large door to one of the cars. All three friends got in and noticed it was empty. This must have been an upper class car or private car. The three put their bags down and went to their seats.
