She had done it, Project Purity was a success. The Wasteland was saved. She was going to be reunited wih her father and mother. She smiled, and welcomed death, as she was tired. Tired of the Wasteland, tired of the endless demands thrust upon her, tired of killing, tired of life. She closed her eyes, smiling as she felt the life leave her, ready to be reunited with her parents. Yet, in that moment, God felt she should be rewarded, she had redeemed many in the wasteland, and chose the ultimate sacrifice so the wasteland could live, so she and Grognak the faithful hatchling deathclaw, and her faithful Dogmeat, would be sent to a paradise, free of all the mindless violence, worthy to be the place where his champion would finally have peace.

But even rewards have limits, as the Wanderer tries to adapt to this seemingly innocent world, unrest starts to stir. The wanderer must once more take up arms to save her new home as it is threatened by the call of war.

After all, War...War Never Changes.
