Chapter 10: Legends Never End

Previous Chapter

Now, before I go into details of our skirmishing, I must say that this was a not a fight, but a battle for the fate of the future. If you were viewing the battle from a normal person's comprehension, all you would see is fire and blinding flashes, most of it thanks to Celestia's rage. But before I begin, I must say this first, I now fully know why Equestria is such a peaceful place. Not that she was hypnotizing or manipulating everyone. Okay, I might have lied on that part, but it definitely was not love and tolerance that kept this country from being threatened into war. It was the fact that everyone believed that she was a god. And she had a lot of false proof to back it up. The badlands? Hell, that was Southern Equestria over 1200 years ago. Southern Equestria were once a huge farming and mining state. Equestria was originally 4 huge states with a mixed version of american politics, just ponified in a medieval era. Now why am I talking about this? Well, the four states became two, North Equestria and South Equestria. Long story short, they went to war fight over political wrongs done by both sides.

Anyways, both Celestia and Luna were in their late-mid teens when the Equestrian Civil War broke out. The two sisters were raised in Northern Equestria as the last living alicorns. Luna, being naive and super stupid, wished on a nearby commit to stop the ongoing war... Let's just say that said commit was basically a huge floating mountain range of rare metals... And little Luna accidentally struck the south with the wraith like effects of a god. In moments, the south was no more than a wasteland of gold. Luna was more then horrified after learning that she had killed an entire country. While Luna was horrified, Celestia took the opportunity and started her reign over the north. It only took a month for her rising of power to dominate all of the surviving land. Thanks to the all believing myth that she used the raw magical power of the sun to turn the south to golden dust had instantly brought her to the status of "Sun Goddess". Adding the fact that Celestia was a natural born immortal Alicorn just increasingly buffed the myth to everyday fact. And thanks to the commit of riches, Equestria has been the number one trading economy ever since.

Now if I was a leader country that had no knowledge of the truth and only knew her lies. I would do anything to not anger her or end up like South Equestria. But I was no fool. I was Malus Messor, The Lord of Bones, and I know the truth. Celestia had control of the sun, that was true. She was a alicorn, powerful one at that, and was able to level a building to a pile of ash. But erasing entire nations with a single strike? That was completely insane. And she used fear to bring these ludicrous myths to blinded history. And that is what kept her on the immortal throne. Sadly, when the little sister wants some of the power, she goes by blackmailing her sister with the truth. Celestia being the power hungry beast she is, answered quite cruelly. She literally beat the shit out of Luna, erased her memories, replaced them with her story, and bluntly banished her to the moon. Hell, she personally cured Luna with Nightmare Moon while she beat the ever living shit out of her. With no other witnesses to the truth, all was left to do was give the public another damn lie. Nightmare Moon is not a creation of jealousy, but a lie Celestia fed everyone.

Celestia was not a person of all that is good and holy, in fact, she was quite the opposite. This Princess is a manipulative bitch that had fooled the world to her bidding. Going as far to banish her sister and wipe her memories to keep her power. She is no god. If Celestia's true personality had turned into physical form, she would a monster for all to fear. She would be a huge towering menace with a forked tongue of lies with eyes of a scheming thief. Her claws taking everything to feed the never ending greed of a feral dragon. And she had it all at her beckoning call. The true Celestia was a lying, spoil, bullying bitch that has had her way for too long. And I am here to being her tyranny to an end. The two of us, now standing in the toxic waste of mud, ready to bring the fate of the world. Then, in the blink of an eye, we charged. A moment later, my sword and her horn clashed, both of us trying to gain dominance over each other.

"This is the end, Malus!" She taunted, her magic burning like the pits of hell. With her burning horn against my sword, my blade began to crack under the intense heat. Two seconds later, my wonderful Dragonbone sword began to melt like cheap plastic and quickly exploded like a pack of C4. Both of us were sent back, barely damaged from the blast, leaving my sword shattered into broken glass sized bits. I quickly got up and looked for my foe. She was, if anything, a inferno of her now unbound rage. Her mane was ablaze in a haze of whitish blue flames as was her eyes. Her burning rage was clear as day, she was pissed and was ready to do everything in her power to make me suffer.

"Your evil end now!" She roared, her horn setting off a blast wave of fiery death. I encased myself within my magical dome, the flames violently dancing across my magic. Once the wave of fire died down, I charged, basting through the smoke and raising my fist for the killing blow. Celestia had only a glance up before landed a punch straight into her muzzle. She skidded across the mud and finally stopped in a ditch, her fur stained in mud and her muzzle bleeding profoundly. Her face was drenched in her blood as she laid there, not moving.

Holy shit! I just knocked her out! With just one punch!

As I let my thoughts run amuck, I noticed the dirt around Celestia began to scorch and smolder at an alarming rate. Her mane ignited once again, this time sending another blazing explosion of hatred. Quickly I raised my shield wards mere seconds before the frontal blast wave of hell hit me. And it hit me hard. My shields held up to the raging inferno, but only to quickly diminish as the heat subsided. I opened my eyes, seeing the fire like blood soak Celestia's face. She was looking at her bloody hoof, her anger becoming a snarl. She looked up at me, seeing me unharmed by her rage. We locked eyes once again, staring down each other, seeing who would break first. And surprisingly, she broke first.

"I must admit. You are unlike any villain I have faced before. Not only have you defeated my prize student, but have terrorized my sister in your wicked torment. And now, we have come to draw. What is is you come for?" She asked. This is something I did not expect. Well, Luna's knowledge isn't quite up to date with the mind of her sister, but this is still strange of her. She has by my knowledge, never attempted to compromise with a "Evil Villain". This should indeed be interesting.

"I originally came too this land for sanctuary. Yet, while I've been here longer the four weeks, I've found that this land and it's history is as corrupted as my own. And to top it all, I have seen all kinds of terrible and unthinkable crime committed by this country. No, I'm not here to solve them. I am standing here to gut the snake that brings toxic venom among the innocent people. I come not for the people or for the conquest of this brainwashed country, but for head." I said, pulling out both my 1911 Punisher Pistols. This action seemingly scaring the once rage filled bitch. She took a few steps back, her belief of being a god quickly diminishing.

"But you are right on one thing Celestia, I'm not your average villain. *Check-Check* I am your Judge, Jury and Executioner." I roared, firing my handguns. In the blink of an eye, my guns... Did nothing.... What? I looked down at the guns, looking over them for any damages. Finding nothing wrong, I emptied the Mags, finding a piece of paper in one of the empty mags. I picked it up and opened the paper, only to squint my eye as I read the enraging text.

You never asked for any bullets dumbass!

~The Merchant

"That motherfucking piece of shit-" I never got to finish my ranting as I was blasted with nuclear bomb levels of power. And without my wards, I got hit, hard. I flew through the burning blast of fire, my body burning with pain as I was roasted alive. I then landed hard onto my back, my arms and legs splayed out. I opened my eyes, as if I had woken up from a instant nightmare. Adrenalin rushed through my body, trying to numb the burning pain of my bodily systems. I looked at my right arm, the once beautifully crafted daedric gauntlet was now nothing more than a scared metal. I growled in anger, hacking black blood in the process. I let my guard down. I had given her an opening and I am suffering for it. I could hear her getting up and trotting over to me. She was going to end me. Good thing I had a backup plan if this was to occur. Even if the cost would be grave. Seeing no other option in sight, I activated my failsafe spell, my purple magic rushing out of my destroyed body. Black mist engulfed my corpse and made my body anew. I began to quickly grow in size and have many changes, my daedric boots and gauntlet burned away as my robes blinded with my ghost like body. After my transformation was complete, I looked down at the now worried Celestia.

I was towering over the Alicorn by a good eight feet, casting my deathly gaze to her. My body had turned from physical from to raw magic. My robes had formed into a long crystal black cloak with an area of darkness wrapping the light and colors around it, similar to that of a black hole. My upper chest was exposed, showing my boney rib cage as small back serpent like vines slithered around my bones. These black snakes all ended up connecting to my ever so beating black heart. The clasp for the cloak also seemed to be right above my deathly heart. The bones in my arms and hands were shattered, only to be held together by back like mist that flowed around the bones, flowing in the shape of rotten transparent muscles. My hands were black serrated claws that could snatch the souls out of anyone I touched. In my right hand, I held a staff made of the black misty crystals that emanating a toxic white glow.

But it was not the staff that truly frightened Celesta, it was what laid under the hood. Most of my head was shrouded in pitch black by my hood. But the few feature that were exposed to the light, were haunting to all. My deathly face, a shattered and mangled skull of a face. The bits of bones being held together by a slightly transparent mist forming and flowing like ghost flesh. My lower jaw was completely gone, as well as all of my upper teeth, leaving my lower skull a jagged mess. My mouth was bleeding black blood that formed into my neck that connected with the rest of my broken spine. My nose bone was was bit normal, besides the transparent flow of black mist flowing out and around my head, it was normal. My eyes were completely gone, leaving the empty eye sockets to be shaded in a void of darkness. The only thing there was a little light, a spark if you will, burning out through the darkness, and staring down at the pony before me.

"I am the incarnation of Death, the reaper of worlds, the curse of all that is vile."I announced, my voice reeking of decay and power beyond this realm. Celestia began to mutter with absolute fear.

"I am Malus Messor, and I commend you to burn your sins, mortal." I echoed darkly, quickly casting the sun princess into my darkness, devouring her body whole. No sound of misery or that of pain echoed from her, just absolute silence of the dead. In an instant, her mortal soul was erased from existence devoured to continue mine. A invisible blast wave echoed throughout the toxic battlefield, sucking life essence from the remaining Royal Guards, their souls fueling to the creation of my new form. Victory was mine, Celestia was no longer, but at the cost of my own body. But my legend does not end in my death, only brings rise to a new tale. While I may not be able to take physical form or wake from this grave, I can be reborn into anew. Even if it my cost me the last bits of my humanity, my legacy will passed down to my successor, my perfect creation. With all of my might and last bits of humanity, I began to quickly forge my incarnation of death. His name... Lord Merciless.

Author's Note

And that is how I end this! And yes, that green "complete" sigh is not a typo! Now don't panic, while this story must end, a new one will rise. The sequel will be out soon enough. Lord Merciless will be a new and hopefully a better story then this death by bad grammar and sorts. I originally planed for twenty more chapters before this happened. But I ended up crossing out ideas from the plan and ended up with this... For those who stuck with this story from the beginning, I tip my hat to you and I hope I can improve my terrible English. I also want to create wonderful stories for all to read, not just M rated stuff. So expect a shot story in the upcoming new year.

Thanks for reading~
