When a writer is stripped from his home and the comforts of technology and human anatomy, he becomes desperate to return to his own world. Making friends with two of Ponyville's local stallions, he sets off on a quest to find his way back. With help from historical texts and ancient lore, he and his new found friends are determined to get him home.

This story centers on an original character’s (Brain) adventure to return to the human world. Not accustomed to life as a pony, he becomes ever more desperate to find his way as the story progresses. This story also stars Big Macintosh and Doctor Whooves.
