The Taraxippus Equestrian Darkness

Flash woke up with a pain in his head; he slowly opened up his eyes to see Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Sunset Shimmer, Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy surrounding him. Sunset held out a hand for Flash in a pleasant way, with a worried look. Flash placed a hand on his forehead feeling the rush of his blood go rapid fast, he groaned.

"What happened?" Flash whispered looking around.

"Careful Flash, you happened to sprain your ankle and you passed out for...I don't know how long" Sunset said Flash grabbed her hand.

"What happened is what we want to know too, you have been out for at least four hours, apparently. And something tells me that the Troublemakers did something to you, who knows who is going to be next when they threat other people" Applejack said leaning against a pillar and crossed her arms in confusion.

"What do you mean Applejack? I don't remember them attacking me in any way, right now...I want to know what was that green lightning...it looked. Alive" Flash said remembering the moment when he felt something tugs on his jeans, crawling up on him and attacking his guitar, and bam… electric shocks attacked him and passed out.

"Alive? That doesn't seem right" Sunset said confused, she sat down next to Flash and pulled out a book with a yellow and orange sun as the cover symbol.

"Okay... I need to write to her about what is going on, the Troublemakers are doing something, think about it. They way they threat other students and Derpy, always looking for a fight, always say kill him, or kill her, they never back down on anything, when Flash stood up for Derpy, Grim Verde the oldest brother is the leader and almost wiped Flash to his own grave, and finally...I always feel like they have no soul. And what Flash said about...green lightning it seems to connect to the brothers" Sunset said writing down of what she was talking about.

"I agree with Sunset, she summed up everything that has been happening. And to my feelings we are in some serious danger, I don't know why. But I have a good guess on one or few things" Applejack said standing up and walked around the room.

"We are being hunted down by serial killers, maybe they are being paid by a powerful organization to kill us, a war could happen between different worlds, dark magic must have been created the three brothers the same with the portal...that is all I can think of" Applejack explained thinking really big.

"I guess we are getting deeper and..." Sunset trailed off and blinked, she knocked off the book and exploded on what is on her mind. "Did you say...war?" Sunset asked Applejack as she nodded slowly, "oh dear Celestia. That's it! War!" Sunset exclaimed reaching for her book and wrote down war

"It makes sense! Threatening students, wanting to kill us, always walks away but they always come back" Sunset said she feels like she is dying on the inside to figure something out that she is still investigating.

"I finally get!" Rainbow Dash said clearly she is understanding Sunset's connections.

"There... all written down and sent" Sunset said closing her book and put it in her backpack, then she looked at Flash Sentry. "Look Flash, I'm sorry of what I have been through and...I'm sorry to drag you into this situation. Everyone here is in danger and I don't know how to stop it. I've changed and I am not asking for forgiveness..." Sunset said turning around and walked away Flash has to think fast. "Sunset!" Flash shouted to her and tried to walk towards her, he quickly hugged Sunset and looked at her eyes. "I know things are always getting crazy here at school, but right now... I'm willing to try again, to be friends. Is that what you want?" Flash asked Sunset she looked at him with empathy in her eyes, she calmed down finally with a small smile.

"Yes" Sunset said and hugged Flash almost making him fall, but caught his balance again.

Twilight began to read what was written by Sunset Shimmer, "something weird is happening again, a new set of evil just stepped in the last time you were here, the way they treated to Derpy and other students, always looking for a fight, always say...kill him, kill her, they never back down on anything...oh god, Flash stood up for Derpy...Grim Verde is the oldest brother and seems to be the leader...Flash almost faced his grave...green lightning? That's new... Applejack thinks that they are in some serious danger..." Twilight paused and looked at a single three-letter word, war.

Twilight gasped realizing they are facing not just only danger but…death.

"But how strong are they?" Twilight looked down and began to think, she wasn't sure but sooner or later she might get the answer, walking towards her throne everypony is almost asleep.

Rainbow Dash started to fly in the air in order to stretch her wings, and did a few boxing moves. "I want to face some more danger...I need to fight them, or whoever else!" Rainbow whined, she is ready for anything but not nearly asleep like her other friends.

"Well...there is a new problem in the other world...too bad you can't come Rainbow. I don't want to risk your life once you and the other Rainbow will disappear" Twilight said placing the book on her throne she walked on the map of Equestria.

Twilight's cutie mark glowed with stars moving and fading away, then it slowly turned dark red and black... she isn't happy that she is keeping a secret from her friends. Never mind that, back to the topic Twilight thought to herself.

"Hmm..." Rainbow Dash groaned and came close to Twilight's face, eye to eye in long moment.

"Something is bothering you, talk!" Rainbow demanded and she looked way too serious about what is on her mind.

"When I left the dimension with Spike everything felt normal, but I guess a few months later...things are getting pretty violent and now I feel like I'm...risking my life for my other friends. They are in grave danger...I have to go now" Twilight said to Rainbow as Twilight looked at the sleeping baby dragon, she knew she needs his help as well.

"Help me get Spike on my back?" Twilight asked just a little favor and nothing more. "Do you know when you’re going to be back? Last time it was full of two or three days...all of us has been missing you the first time you left" Rainbow said she lightly flew down to the ground and tucked her wings in, looking to her left where the others are still sleeping.

"I'm a princess Rainbow, I can't just escape my duties...things are serious when it comes to be part of a royal family" Twilight said as Spike snored on her back curled up like a ball.

Rainbow looked down with a worried look, and it took a few seconds for rainbow to feel, and think about what to say next.

Rainbow smiled, "take good care of yourself Twilight, and Spike too" she said as Twilight smiled back, and galloped to the portal entrance she light placed Spike on her right side, and tapped him on his left side.

"Spike, wake up" Twilight said as he slowly opened his eyes he looked at Twilight with a tired look.

"We need to save our friends" Twilight said as Spike went wide-eyes and stood up with karate moves.

"Who is it this time? Nightmare Moon? The one centaur who keeps on tormenting you? Is it the ducklings that always steal my diamonds? Or worst... an entire army of duck zombies!" Spike kept on performing karate moves and began to look scared.

Twilight rolled her eyes, placing a hoof on top of his head and turned it towards the portal.

"Oh..." Spike trailed off realizing what Twilight meant.

"Yes" Twilight nodded.

Spike looked at Twilight, and thought of something.

"Don't you need to do some research before what is really happening?" Spike asked, but all he got was a plain look from Twilight.

"I read every history book from the past few months, there isn't that much proof that they ever existed" Twilight answered, but left Spike still puzzled.

"What do you mean by...they?" Spiked asked again still confused.

"From what I can explain...about what Sunset Shimmer wrote in the book, it sounds more likely normal ponies...but extremely violent. Only three of them still remain somewhere...and I guess I know what they are called...taraxippus. Evil ponies...taraxippus are spirit ponies and they are most likely to be ghosts, always perform dangerous acts of violence and nightmares...and its up to us to stop them...from destroying our world into deadly darkness" Twilight explained she looked at the portal and begins to feel...worried that they might die at any moment by now.

"Sounds like what Nightmare Moon would do, I mean... of course Luna won't do it again but...deadly darkness? What is the deepest part of darkness? Yet I don't know that answer to myself. I know I must help you girls somehow... count me in Twilight, lets do it" Spike said bravely Twilight smiled.

"Thank you Spike" Twilight said as she prepared herself to jump in the portal, and in a few seconds...they jumped.

Landing on the familiar ground Twilight grunted when she felt a small pain in her chest, Spike jumped on his four legs and his tail wagged delightfully.

Twilight didn't expect the ground to feel so wet, when realizing rain has been active for hours. "I don't trust these clouds, something doesn't feel right" Spike said looking up at the giant clouded gray sky.

Twilight stood up and wiped away the wet ground and small mud, she feels like she walked in a death trap or more likely... needles poking her skin and snakes biting her body.

Twilight hugged herself to stop feeling her worst things she ever encountered.

"Why does it feel like I don't trust myself?" Twilight said as she begins to shiver really hard, incoming seizure seems to control her.

"I feel the same thing...so the weather must be influencing something that we don't exactly trust anything or anyone" Spike said as Twilight looked around to see the entire front yard completely empty and abandoned, "its... so weird..." she whispered as she and Spike walked up to the front doors and opened it then it quickly shut.

"GO AWAY!" shouted a familiar voice and it was like the same thing that pony Fluttershy would say when she rejects the most popular holiday, Nightmare Night.

"Fluttershy?" Twilight said with a confused look why is Fluttershy guarding the doors? Twilight thought to herself.

"Fluttershy it’s me! Twilight!" Twilight said lightning cracked the sky so bright that thunder growled, making Spike shake and whine he jumped in Twilight's arms and cuddled against himself towards her.

Fluttershy opened the door, and smiled but she looks...so...sad.

"Quick come inside!" Fluttershy said yanking on Twilight's free arm she slammed the door just before Twilight joined the small party of one friend.

"Fluttershy... what's wrong?" Twilight asked Fluttershy as she unexpectedly hugged Twilight. Fluttershy began to cry continually.

"There are monsters here, tearing apart our school spirit and our lives" Fluttershy said still crying rivers down her cheeks.

"Where is everyone?" Twilight asked she looked around to see it is deserted, making Fluttershy the only survivor she found alone...she doesn't like being alone, never. So what happened to Fluttershy? Twilight asked herself and walked the halls, searching for everyone at any sight.

"Everyone is getting strange, all because of the Troublemakers doing some black magic, a few students died just yesterday unexpectedly. I was close to dying but Applejack...she sacrificed herself to protect me. I was scared, ever since it happened...things started to get worst, the school is under lock down from...murder. The most strangest thing ever...it feels like Applejack is not dead it feels like her spirit is still here, she's trapped" Fluttershy said as Spike looked down in sorrow, letting a tear break from his sad eyes and heard some window glass break.

Twilight and Fluttershy stopped walking and looked down, Spike looked confused and looked at his fallen tear.

"Did you just...cry Spike?" Twilight asked him the tear looks complete glass and it didn't fade.

"I did...tears doesn't do this, this is...odd" Spike said he leaped out of Twilight's arms and looked closely to the tear.

"Its frozen...spirits" Spike said realizing what spirits does to the air.

"There are spirits here, and I can feel them...no... I can see them" Spike said and when he looked up he saw Applejack behind Fluttershy and... Rarity behind Twilight all in a light white color. Spike felt broken and back away, "Spike what do you see?" Twilight asked him she shivered and exhaled to see visible breath.

"Fluttershy wasn't kidding, I see Applejack... and Rarity and it looks like they are protecting you, guarding you both" Spike said softly as he whined.

"Spike...don't cry...I'm still here, I promise. I'm not going away" Rarity said her voice echoed in the halls, Spike leaped back in Twilight's arms.

"Do you know what happened to Rarity? If Spike is right about seeing Applejack and Rarity. I need to know what happened, I'm pretty sure I will find a way to free them and turn them alive again" Twilight said still walking the halls in search for Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Sunset Shimmer.

Spike kept on whining and crying at the lost of his love interest, Twilight tried to cheer him up by petting him. "I don't know for sure, I haven't heard much from her" Fluttershy said looking down and feeling depressed, she isn't happy when things are turning evil and scary.

"There must be something I can do to help..." Twilight whispered still petting Spike.

"We need to find Sunset first, I’m sure she has some good explanations" Fluttershy said walking left and soon she gasped, Twilight looked at what was wrong she gasped. Pinkie Pie knelt down and she weeps with fresh tears her body shook and hugged a dead body. "This can't be happening, it just can't..." Pinkie Pie said weakly her arms shook violently.

Twilight walked close to Pinkie, but Fluttershy held onto her shoulder. "Wait...what if it’s...Celestia?" Fluttershy asked Twilight, Twilight needs to think about what she is about to do and how is she going to react to the death of her mentor or friend.

"I have to be strong, and so will you Fluttershy" Twilight said as she walked closer she noticed the purple skirt and white shirt the person she knows is the one with three light blue diamonds on her dress and the power of generosity.

Rarity layed peaceful with a scared expression, Twilight felt her legs shake and she almost cried. Pinkie's hair has been deflated and her color went a little dark, she kept on crying and hugged Rarity's dead body. "Rarity..." Pinkie whispered softly.

"Pinkie?" Twilight said almost startling her, she looked up with blood on her face and her cheeks, Twilight took a step back.

"I tried to save her... I tried..." Pinkie said Spike leaped out of Twilight's arms once again and he pawed on her shoulder, she didn't respond.

"Rarity?" Spike said he pawed her shoulder again then he nosed her hand and layed down next to Rarity.

"She's dead...she's dead...she's dead..." Spike said to low whisper. Twilight placed a hand on Pinkie's shoulder and looked at her, Pinkie looked at Twilight her blue eyes looked painfully hurt.

"What happened to her?" Twilight asked Pinkie slowly as she tried to remember what happened.

"Eclipse Blight murdered Rarity... all by his damn two hands... she was being suffocated and I tried to fight him off but he was too strong to be stopped. Eclipse said some things to me, about how much I was his favorite Element of Harmony...I...I'm confused of it. Also being...being told that you can't stop the Taraxippus and I... I don't know what that is. What are Taraxippus?" Pinkie said and explained she put her head on her hands, Twilight helped Pinkie to stand and she hugged Pinkie to cheer her up.

"Thanks Twilight... but this isn't going to be that easy" Pinkie spoke unnerving and helpless.

"It may be hard but we still need to keep on going" Twilight said and looked at Fluttershy as she walked towards them in a big hug, and broke it off in a few seconds. "Do you know where is Rainbow, and Sunset?" Twilight asked Pinkie as she tried to gather her thoughts and memories, she shook her head.

"Well then... we have to keep on looking" Twilight said as she picked up Spike and held him in her arms again; he dug into her arms deeper as she felt him shaking.

"I wonder... if Rarity had that much blood, how did she get that on her clothes?" Fluttershy asked Twilight or Pinkie. "Like I said, I tried to fight Eclipse but he was way too strong...how strong are the Troublemakers?" Pinkie asked trying to get her hair all poofy again, but her heart isn't happy yet because it is still aching in Rarity's last breath.

"Why do you girls call them Troublemakers?" Twilight asked them but the answer already popped in her head.

"Never mind, I got the point,” Twilight said again.

"Time to find Rainbow" Pinkie said.

"Time to find Sunset" Fluttershy said.

"Time to find the principles and Flash Sentry...hopefully he's alive" Twilight said, preparing herself for the next big thing.
