The Taraxippus Equestrian Darkness

"This is ridiculous, we haven't found anyone yet and still...nothing makes sense. Sunset seems to know too much, and has been investigating ever since yesterday when it just started. Is there anything we can think of and what to do?" Pinkie asked Twilight while they have been wondering around the entire school, Fluttershy yawned and stretched in the need to sleep while she held Spike in her arms.

Twilight stopped walking and looked at Fluttershy, something dinged on her mind that seems to connect. Rarity and Applejack are asleep in Twilight's castle, everypony except for Rainbow. Sleep...human Rainbow must be alive still all because sleep is what her pony friends are getting into, Rarity died and she is still asleep, Applejack died to protect Fluttershy and she is asleep.

Twilight looked down with a questionable look and placed a finger on her chin, "a link" she whispered.

"What?" Pinkie asked Twilight.

"In the pony world, everyone is asleep ever since I saw them...asleep it could mean they are already dead in the human world. But Pinkie and Fluttershy are asleep as well, somehow being protected to be the last. It also includes that Rainbow is still alive and awake, I'm not even sure of the princesses are asleep as well to be dead but I think they are still alive and being protected too. Flash Sentry? I don't know if he's awake as well... he could be dead or alive..." Twilight said walking to her left and right, stopping Pinkie's and Fluttershy's tracks.

"So the ones who are asleep is dead..." Fluttershy said in thought.

"The ones are awake is alive?" Pinkie said.

Twilight pointed a finger in the air and nodded. "I could be wrong, because it is either both yes and no" Twilight said, as they started to walk again.

"I'm glad we finally figured out that part, but there is still more that needs to be answered. I mean, if the ones are awake and alive could they still have their names and lives? If the sleep is dead then...they still have their names and not they’re...souls?" Pinkie said messing with her deflated pink hair and taking big steps.

"That's it!" Twilight said her arms blocking Fluttershy and Pinkie, she turned around to face them with a happy look...then it turned blue to realize the devastation.

"The Taraxippus is stealing everyone's souls, for something. Sunset did say war right?" Twilight said glancing between Pinkie and Fluttershy, they both nodded.

"The Taraxippus is building an army against my world, taking away the souls and turning them evil and on their side. I'm surprised that Rarity and Applejack are going to betray us, they're spirits now and they have the power to destroy the Elements of Harmony. One by one, to possess another person they can do harm to us... even if they don't possess...they will still attack you, until we die and become like them. That's why I'm here, to stop this invasion and stop the Taraxippus from destroying us. Do you guys understand?" Twilight explained, shocking Fluttershy and turning her more sensitive.

Pinkie shook her head to say no, or to tell herself this isn't happening... Pinkie thought.

"I do understand, but why are they doing this to us? Why here?" Pinkie said and asked Twilight more questions that she can answer.

"I know the reason why, the Taraxippus can't go against unicorns, or alicorns because of their magic to banish them, instead they came here because there isn't magic...they thought wrong, because magic is here. Because of me, and the elements" Twilight answered.

"And they are in trouuuuble" Pinkie carried the U and brushed her hair back.

"They are, and so are we. Because we are still in danger, and almost third of a quarter of elements are dead and asleep. There is only one way to fix it, I need to unleash the remaining elements to reestablish the magic, that's why we need to find Rainbow Dash because she is the last element that still needs to be found... but that is now different... it feels like Sunset Shimmer is now part of it. The more I know, that's all I can think of right now" Twilight said looking down, she is trying to get her emotions back in place and looked brave, they walked again still searching for loyalty.

"Pissst!" a voice whispered, shocking the three girls and the dog they looked around in the darkness behind them.

"Over here!" whispered the same voice, Twilight looked around and saw something light the darkness, a small candle she noticed the familiar red or maroon eyes looking scared and looked at us. Rainbow Dash.

Twilight smiled, Fluttershy and Pinkie walked to the candle's light and opened up the door, and Twilight closed it behind her but looked around for anything suspicious. Nothing. Twilight closed the door, and looked at the girls looking at her with some support.

"Rainbow?" Twilight whispered, a couple of candles are lit to reveal some familiar eyes, including Sunset Shimmer, Principle Celestia and Luna, and Flash Sentry with different expressions, Rainbow silenced Twilight by swishing her hand left to right, before she could talk about anything else.

"So glad you found us, we were becoming worried" Rainbow continued to whisper as everyone nodded.

"Sunset, you called me here for this trouble?" Twilight asked Sunset she nodded.

"We are dealing with real monsters, the ones that you guys call them. Troublemakers, are actually evil entities that seeks out our nightmares, they are planning for war against my world. The ones who died is going to be their army, fighting until our souls are taken and until we actually die" Twilight explained to the others, some of them gasped softly and took it really easy.

"I knew we couldn't trust them Luna, I knew it" Celestia said her legs are against her chest, her arms around her legs and buried her face on her knees.

"Things are getting nasty and dark...its weird because I seem to like it. I understand sister, we need to stop them somehow" Luna said, Celestia punched her sister's arm.

"How can you like three monsters that wants to kill us? They are nothing like you Luna, and you are not them!" Celestia whispered and angered that her own sister seems to go against her.

"Of course Luna isn't them, and they are not her. What's more important is their weak spot, did they act strange to you when you girls were around?" Twilight said softly lowering her voice, and looked around to her friends.

"Eclipse Blight seemed to look at me strangely, I don't know if it’s a weak spot but does seem something... Eclipse doesn't seem to look at me with, murderous eyes, it seems like he wants me to be with him and his brother's side. I must be going crazy" Sunset said as she hugged her legs and looked sad.

"No, your not going crazy and how do I know? Eclipse wants you to become your she-demon again, and I think I can see why" Twilight replied with a courageous voice very softly.

"You’re the new element of harmony, and they are looking for the corrupted demons to join their side. Sunset...they are looking for you, right now" Twilight said shocking Sunset Shimmer as Twilight looked down with a sad face, Spike placed a paw on her left arm and looked up to see Rarity smiling at him and glanced at Twilight, Spike is unsure what to do now. If Rarity and Applejack are spirits...when will they become corrupted? Spike thought to himself. "Rarity...if I can see you, then can you hear me?" Spike asked Rarity, Twilight petted Spike on his head, "Spike I don't think they can" Twilight whispered, but soon Rarity nodded.

"Don't worry Spike, if I am going to turn against you guys then...I will try to fight it off, whatever it takes to not hurt you" Rarity said and her voice seems to echo, Applejack smiled at Spike.

"I promise Spike, I won't let them take hold of me. Rarity and I will protect you guys until Twilight figures out a spell to reverse our deaths, I don't want to leave yet, and I do mean...not forever" Applejack said as Spike stood on all fours, he wants to trust them but if there are other spirits out there to get us then everyone needs to leave.

"Applejack, how did you save Fluttershy?" Spike asked her, everyone looked at him confused and he looked around at everyone. "I can hear them, I see them and they can hear me. I don't know why I'm the only one who can see them,” Spike said quietly, to everyone. Fluttershy remembers something. “I remember, dogs can see and hear things better than humans, they are more likely to see things better than what we can see" Fluttershy said proving something that is really here.

"Go ahead Spike", as Twilight tells him Applejack will explain what happened.

Spike looked at Applejack and nodded lightly, "I was actually being ambushed by all of them, Fluttershy was actually a witness when they were fighting me, Grim told Comet to kill Fluttershy since she came in the picture. I couldn't let that happen, something inside of me just couldn't stop from risking not only my life, or being honest. I had to be powerful, I had to save Fluttershy, and without kindness...everything will turn into dying fire and rage.

I screamed, but it didn't help when I was being suffocated. Comet almost hit Fluttershy when I realized... I was fighting two fights at the same time. I was stronger, faster, and didn't feel evil when the first round just ended. I was being kicked in the face, shoved into a locker, and I passed out only for a few seconds.

"Kindness may be amazing, but what about what is deeper in your heart? Always screaming to be set free and feel so alive...you are like one of us Fluttershy, but who cares about kindness? Not us...so its time for an ultimate sacrifice... for a beautiful demon" said Grim, over-hearing what he said I screamed on the inside of my mind and I had enough...just when Grim was about to stab a knife in her chest...I was that sacrifice, I saved Fluttershy with my might.

It did hurt...but...I felt like I was slipping in the shadows and waiting for me to plan my own revenge... I wasn't ready to disappear... because it was dark and something told me to give in... I wanted to strike another time, and then...everything felt like the same thing when I was still fighting..." Applejack said when Spike was repeating what she was saying, "...and I have been fighting all along" Spike finished Applejack's words even though, Fluttershy cried at Applejack's bravery and her life... she cried like she was really being hit by a bunch of rocks or punches in her heart.

Rainbow hugged Fluttershy and told her, everything is going to be fine.

"Applejack is a great fighter... who knows how strong we can be... but I do know a spell that can resurrect her back to life...but it requires her trapped soul and her body. So that is what we will do, we have to find Applejack's and Rarity's souls before they become part the evil army. Before they destroy my world" Twilight said Spike walked back towards her and layed down on her lap.

"What about Rarity? Pinkie, care to explain?"" Twilight asked Pinkie she looked confused.

"Suffocating...Applejack was being suffocated but stabbed by a knife...and Rarity died from suffocating... I think that is their tool, they kill with their own bare hands" Pinkie looked at Twilight she blinked at Pinkie with a serious look.

"Okay, ever since I turned around to a dark hallway I saw Rarity being slammed against the lockers. Eclipse Blight was smiling like he is enjoying himself...words came to Rarity and to me. "You think your so beautiful? But your not, I can see many things that you are different on the inside. You have a big thing for pain, and you love it when you feel it. What if I can make that come true? Of course I can, but to you..." Eclipse paused and he placed a hand on her cheek, it was slow and... ew kind of thing. Like Eclipse was crushing on Rarity..." Pinkie stopped talking when she shivered, her arms became cold and hugged herself.

"It was just then, Eclipse kissed her by the lips and I somehow took action by throwing a few punches at him. I yelled at Eclipse to say, 'stay away from her!' I just knew he couldn't be trusted, then it was my turn against the lockers his hands in my hair and came close to me. Seducing me like he did with Rarity, that's when I noticed his eyes are happy when he saw me, he kept on saying that I was his favorite of all of the elements of harmony. "You came to me just so I can just walk away? How can I walk away when I noticed beautiful eyes and the windows to the soul of a murderer..." Pinkie paused to look at everyone, Spike looked at Rarity she was listening and nodding, it really happened.

"I'm not a murderer am I?" Pinkie asked everyone, they shook there heads.

Pinkie sighed, "Rarity then tried to talk to Eclipse with words, but it didn't work, he punched her in the face and knocked off her balance, I attacked Eclipse when he was again suffocating her. I kicked Eclipse in the face and he roared, pain struck me like I really liked it...every time he punched me it felt like he was making a mistake, but it was what he wanted. I kept on screaming at Eclipse, I kept on attacking him, until he barfed up blood from his upset stomach it splattered on my face and clothes.

Eclipse was still smiling, he knew I had the power of a murderer... he just knew it, because he was right. Mostly I felt like turning him into something to eat, ugh... like in a disgusting thing" Pinkie continued, while everyone whispered "ew..."

"Eclipse finally broke on his strongest attack, he punched me in the eye and cheek until I passed out, and when I woke up... I found myself alone with Rarity... and realized, it was too late to save her... I really wanted to kill Eclipse the way he treated her. I felt my emotions and personality changed, and that was when Twilight, Spike and Fluttershy found me. Now I'm feeling a little better that I didn't hide the truth, it would just keep me from exploding with rage" Pinkie finished, while Twilight thought about their weak spots and it turns out to be uncommon but only one word describes it.

Fighting.

"Hmm..." Twilight begins to think bigger, the story between Pinkie's and spirit Applejack seems to link with only fighting. Applejack knew that she needed to be powerful, in control of her strength to fight against the Taraxippus to protect Fluttershy, and it seems similar to Pinkie's story. Pinkie fought against only Eclipse Blight, to realize seduction and she kept on fighting to protect Rarity... and almost in the end the strength failed.

"I think its not just only Eclipse that seems to like Pinkie, Grim and Comet are the dark spirits of nightmares...and guess what fits in nightmares and insanity?" Twilight said glancing around to everyone, they seemed to have found out.

"Laughter..." Pinkie whispered. "Eclipse knew Pinkie has a dark side like them, but I still don't see their weakness" Twilight said and looked down to get her puzzles solved, apparently she came up with nothing when she landed a fist on the ground.

"Nothing..." Twilight whispered.
