A prequel to False Traitor, True Hero, taking place forty years before Epee arrived in Equestria.

Czar and his father, King Caesar of Marvalia, travel to Equestria, so Czar can get an idea on how someone can rule such a calm kingdom as Equestria. Yet, Czar is tentative; he tends to leave the castle constantly, and sit on the roof of an abandoned building somewhere in the city of Canterlot. Czar refuses to converse with anyone, and always keeps to himself, except for one person…the ruler of Equestria herself.
