A month has passed since Blaze's origins had been shared and Spitfire decided that if he wanted to go to Wonderbolt Academy, she would see him through his trial and errors, but not make it easier for him.

Blaze finds himself alongside a stallion named Thor, a group of recruits self-title the 'Wings of Hope' and several dozen other recruits.

Several branches, or guilds, of the Wonderbolts are currently setting up for the Grand Galloping Gala's Tournament (Courtesy of Sombra), where all guild's will compete for the title of Grand Guild and receive a massive reward.

However, while Blaze makes friends among the Wonderbolt Elite, not everybody approves of Spitfire's new apprentice….
