Eternal Blaze: Wonderbolt Academy
Blaze sat in silence among the dozens of passengers aboard the Tempest, a passenger plane built to transport large groups record distances. The first pony he met was an ex-convict known as Blade Dancer, whom loved to read as he twirled a butterfly knife in his grip.
"So, Blaze." He rasped as he turned one of his violet orbs that he called 'eyes' to address the prince. "I heard you were invited by Spitfire to serve as her guild's second in command..."
Here is the guild system:
The Crimson Centurions, with a crimson banner with a flaming Centurion's helm embroidery, is headed by Spitfire and serve as Honor Guards for diplomatic missions. Their specialties lie in close quarters combat and defensive tactics.
The Iron Vanguard, with a 'liquid steel' banner with a winged shield with crossed swords, is headed by Soarin' and serve as the Wonderbolt's primary troop. Their specialties lie in short to medium range combat and offensive tactics.
The Omni-bolts, with a clear banner with a gyro embroidery, is headed by Rainbow Dash and serve as Special Operations. Their specialties lie in omnidirectional flight, stealth, and first strike capabilities.
The Stormriders, with a thunderstorm banner with a gold, hooded figure, is headed by Thunderlane and serve as the Artillery Division. Their specialties lie in long to extreme range combat, and explosive ordinance.
The Rippers, with a ragged, flesh like banner torn in multiple spots, is headed by Fleetfoot and serve as assassins, saboteurs, or reconnaissance. Their specialties lie in secrecy and swift justice... and usually leave a mess to clean.
Each guild has access to a limited amount of materials to outfit each member in accordance to their comfort. To maintain reasonable amount of materials, only sixty of the one-hundred trainees are accepted into the guilds.
The Cadet Squadron, bearing the traditional Wonderbolt colors, are headed by Vanquisher and are tasked with maintaining equipment and monitoring trade routes. They have no combat specialties and are the reinforcements if any guild has any issues or fall under attack.
If the princesses take any interest in a certain individual, they are given the chance to obtain the rank of warden, and given the opportunity to join the ultimate guild.
The Sky Wardens, with a golden banner with a castle embroidery, are headed by Anomaly and are tasked with casting the princesses' judgment on Equestria's foes.
"... which means you get to have the first dozen of recruits to choose from. If you wouldn't mind me asking... would you consider having me on your team? I mean... me and my siblings."
Blaze held up the tablet he was given and scrolled over the list of recruits a third time.
So... Blade Dancer, Striker, and Storm Caller... Blaze thought to himself as he flipped through again. They might balance out the other six I have in mind... but that leaves three to choose from ninety-one other recruits...
"I also think that Ragnarok, Halo, and Tempest would make good choices."
Blaze snapped his attention back to Blade Dancer, smiling warmly as he nodded in agreement.
"I have a proposal." Blaze responded, hearing the knife snap closed as Blade Dancer leaned in. "If I am to go along with this, you be my eyes and ears among the others. I understand that you have a keen eye for detail and want you to make sure we maximize the guild's abilities."
Blade Dancer nodded silently and closed his book as the plane descended onto the tarmac of Wonderbolt Terminal Alpha, then disembarked alongside the other second-in-commands: Blitzkrieg, Scootaloo, Ash Winder, and Blood Letter.
"Nice to see you again!" Scootaloo shouted as she hugged Blaze, causing the prince to blush before letting him go. "By your mother's mane you seem to be growing AGAIN!!"
Blaze chuckled, placing a hand on the back of his head with a grin. It was a shocker when he grew his first foot, growing taller than Sombra, now he seems to be growing beyond Celestia... and bulking up as he grew.
"Big deal." A snide voice chimed, drawing the attention of the two.
Dammit... Blaze thought with a growl. Of all the fucking things that could go wrong... it had to be this...
Aegis, a slender, but brutish stallion pegasus sporting a cyan mane and pearl-white coat, pushed his way through the crowd of recruits until he was chest to chest with Blaze. He had a grudge against Blaze ever since his parents told him about how Sombra nearly killed them during his return.
"Now that mommy isn't around, you best-"
Apparently they didn't explain Blaze's hair-trigger temper.
Blaze's right hand snapped forward and connected with Aegis' nose with a wet crunch, followed by the latter's head snapping back with small spurt of blood dripping from his nose.
"SON OF A-"
Blaze repeated the motion and followed through with a kick that struck Aegis' family jewels, dropping the opposing stallion.
"Are you going to insult your great aunt while we're here?" Blaze growled, crouching beside his downed opponent, "Or are you going to shut your damn mouth and face me WITHOUT mentioning her?"
Aegis snapped up and tackled Blaze, the two tumbling across the Tarmac, then pushed away, readying their weapons. Aegis wielding dual crystal nightsticks, Blaze wielding dual iron knuckles.
Aegis lunged, swiping the nightsticks at Blaze's head, the latter ducking and retaliating with a swift uppercut with a mighty flap of his wings, knocking the former skyward. Aegis then twisted and shot towards Blaze in a kick, only to have his foot grabbed and then used to slam him into the ground. Blaze released Aegis' foot, then proceeded to kick Aegis while he was down... repeatedly.
After a few minutes Blaze ended his assault and asked. "You done talking shit?"
Aegis was about to reply when a new voice shouted: "ENOUGH!!!"
Blaze snapped to attention, followed by the others, turning towards the source of the voice...
