                                                                                    Chapter Two

From that day I decided that pursuing my dreams in flying and being the greatest flyer in the clouds was my primary goal. But I wasn't sure of how to go about doing it. So I spent all of my free time flying around my neighbourhood and constantly setting myself new challenges to overcome.  I even went to a summer flight camp where I saw my fair share of talent from other Pegasai.

My father loved to tell me stories about famous flying Pegasai and their tricks, tales and dreams! He also told me about a great city in the clouds and its beauty; Cloudsdale. I decided I wanted  to move to Cloudsdale and tried to convince my parents but my attempts were in  vain as they wanted me to graduate from Manehattan High which ment staying in our current home.

The only problem being I didn't want to stay there and finish my education at ManeHattan High, I didn't enjoy my lessons, I hardly knew my friends and there wasn't any fun to be had in flying within the school grounds...of my degree anyway!

After constantly practicing and trying to better myself, I had grown extremely confident in  my flying even going as far as to making my own tricks and maneuvers. I loved doing barrel rolls and dodging buildings at high speeds.

Whilst heading back home one day right after I had finished my daily amount of flight training I noticed an advertisement on a bulletin board in the street. The advert was for a WonderFlight Show hosted by the one and only WonderBolts! it was to be hosted on the upcoming Saturday and was based quite close by.

Travel and distance didn't matter much to me anyway because while flying I had  been constantly increasing my endurance and stamina which also came in handy when I was i n a hyperactive mood.

So with father by me on that very eventful day to be, I bought our tickets and arrived earlier than needed to the stadium of which the events were to be held in.  Once in our seats and having a few minutes before the opening cermony started I was gobsmacked by the ridiculous  amount of ponies waiting and gathering in the seats around the stadium centre.

But one pony in particular caught my eye. She sat in the fourth row of seats below me, her pure cyan coat, her flourishing rainbow mane. Wait!  She had a rainbow mane just like me! I thought to myself.

She was beautiful! She refused to sit and instead hovered with sheer anticipation for the events to begin.

The opening ceremony was great but short and nothing compared to everything else the WonderBolts did!

But nothing would compare to the feeling I was about to experience in the last few moments of that day. ....
