When Twilight Sparkle and her friends venture to the Princesses' old castle in hopes of finding a magical book, they instead unleash an ancient curse that has been buried there for many years. Subjected to the curse's power, the Mane Six begin to experience drastic changes in behavior, causing them to act like the opposites of their intended Element.

It isn't long before the Cutie Mark Crusaders notice their strange behavior, however, but will they be able to save the Mane Six in time before the curse's effects become permanent?
