The inn was more empty than usual that day.
It was largely due to the fact that the employees of Cog's were at work, but on the other side it was for the incident that happened the day before, and everyone knows it's best to stay away from there, for at least a couple of weeks. Only the most loyal (or drunk) customers would not move a meter from there. One, however, attracted the attention of Thin Chain: it was a pony with a gray coat, wearing a long jacket with a hood that left only uncover a bit of muzzle. And from what seemed, that guy had a cybernetics jaw.

"Can I help you, sir ?" asked Thin Chain, who had approached smiling the mysterious costumer.
The gray pony began to think, then he looked up and said, with a metallic voice: "Yes. There's a little something you can do for me, young mare ."

Meanwhile, on the back of the inn, Bone Saw was arguing with two local agents, who were questioning him for nearly an hour and a half, and were now tired of been there.

"Look, agent, write anything ... you just have to write, I've just rescued my sister and that's it."
"Yes, and so then who hear my superior ? That ass just sit in his chair and follow the orders of Mr. Cog. "
"... Look, tell me if these may change your mind."

Bone Saw took a sack full of caps, earned from his last job as a mercenary.
The two officers looked at each other, and then one had a look as if to say " oooh, come on, let him go and let's take the caps ".
And so they did, without saying so many things. Finally, Bone Saw could take care of his customers and enjoy those few caps that remained, enough to buy a few stocks of whiskey and extra-alcoholic cider .
And his weekly doses of med-x.

"Hey, Sawie, there's a guy who wants to talk to you."
"Where he is ?"
"It's down there on the right, next to the entrance."

Bone Saw, before going to talk to the mysterious pony, took his shotgun, in case it was one of the mercenary of the Cog's.
Once arrived in front of the pony, he sat down and began to talk to him.

"I don't care who you are or why you're here, I just want to know what you want."
"I see you don't go so well in the use of grammar." said, chuckling and with his metallic voice, the pony, "you just did a contradiction."
Bone Saw made a false laugh, saying how funny he was .
"Look, I'm back from a small job recently, and I don't want problems."
" I know. The Gore twins , if I'm not wr - "

Bone Saw snapped and, while struggling with his hooves the pony for the jacket collar, pointed his shotgun against him .

"No one had to know of that job ."
"I've heard about."
" And how ? It was they who entrusted me to search them , and they haven't ended good . "
"There are many ways to fin-"
"Cut short, or I'll blow the other side of your head."

The pony swallowed a lot of saliva, and said he had bypassed the systems of some sprite-bots to monitor certain areas of Equestria, and have stumbled accidentally in Bone Saw, while he was completing his job . Bone Saw, however, said that to bypass one of those things it was wanted someone experienced in robotics.
The pony replied saying only that he had a long experience in robotics, and that had a certain familiarity with the sprite-bots's systems .
But the discussion was interrupted when two ponies, wearing the uniform of the Cog's mercenaries, one armed with a bat and one with a gun, entered the inn, breaking the door.

"There he is!" Shouted one of them, then rushes against Bone Saw to hit him with his bat.
But the unicorn had faced similar situations, and two little bastards were not a big problem. The first thing to do was to disarm the other pony, the one with the gun.
So, after avoiding the hit of the pony armed with the mace and hitting him with its metallic hoof, Bone Saw levitated his shotgun to the mercenary, but that armed with the bat managed to deflect the blow, hitting the gun and knocking it to the ground. Then, while the pony with the gun was going to shoot Bone Saw, the latter pulled the pony armed with the mace in front of him, using it as a shield.
After shooting three or four fatal blows to his companion, Bone Saw decided to hurl the body against the mercenary, so that the pony lost the gun from his mouth. Fortunately for the mercenary, he was still armed, and took out from a holster a combat knife, and then loaded against Bone Saw.
After dodging three or four swipes and being slightly scratched, Bone Saw struck the mercenary with his bare hooves, and managed to throw him away thanks to a magic arrow. The opponent, however, fell in front of his gun and managed to get it back, and fired a shot, hitting the non-metallic part of Bone Saw's left leg, making him fall to the ground.

"Mr. Cog wishes you his most cordial greetings." said ironically the mercenary, as he approached Bone Saw.

Just prior to being close to the tall white unicorn, the mercenary was hit by Thin chain with a spiked club in the head, killing him.
Finally, the fight was over. Thin Chain came suddenly to his brother, trying to lift and carry him to the back of the local, where there were a pair of pliers and healing potions.

"Hey ... uh, young mare !" Said the pony Bone Saw was interrogating, which in the meantime had hidden behind a small overturned table , "Wait, I'll give you a hoof."
Thin Chain told him that she knew what to do, and she had taken care of the worst wounds to his brother, in the past.
Then, the gray pony took off his hood, revealing to have more of a mechanical part on his head.
"Trust me, I have some experience about "worst wounds". Said so, he helped Thin Chain to take Bone Saw on the back, and put him sitting on a chair.
"But where are the damn pliers?" wondered Thin Chain to herself.
"Wait, they aren't needed ." Said the gray pony, as he raised one of his hooves, who was robotic too.
Now, Thin Chain and Bone Saw wondered what of that pony wasn't mechanical.
By it came out something like a small metallic appendix , ending in a small pliers.
Bone Saw eyes widened, and he continued to stare at that... thing .

"Oooh no, I don't allow anypony to put their things inside of me !"
"Come on, don't be such a wimp, you'll barely feel a bit of pain."
"Would you like to have the appendix of someone else stick inside your body !?"

The gray pony withdrew the pliers and the appendix, and stared into Bone Saw's eyes, with his robotic, blacks and reds eyes .

"Okay, now I tell you what happens if I don't remove that bullet. It ends up into your circulation, it get stuck into an artery and makes you have a heart attack, and bye bye to Bone Saw. "
The tall white unicorn stared at the gray pony, scared by the words of the latter.
"Okay, take it out as well, but don't mess me up this leg any further ".

The pony, once re-extracted his pliers, set to work.
Two minutes later, the operation was almost complete when the three herded the sound of an explosion coming from the main room.
The gray pony put everything away, and looked out the door leading to the room.

"... We're fuck ." He said, after seeing Broken Horn approaching with four levitating machine guns .
