(Torian`s POV)

Waking to the early morning rays of Celestia`s sun, I got dressed and did my morning routine without waking my beautiful marefriend, Minuette. With the limited food supplies until I got paid tonight at the concert, I was able to cook eggs and fish.

Being brought down by the trance of food, Minuette came down stairs and immediately began drooling over the well-cooked breakfast. I couldn`t blame her though since my mother taught me how to cook before she died and man did her lessons never fail me yet.

"Good morning, sleep well?" I asked.

"Fine, thank you ans last night was so romantic." Minuette teased as I only smiled at the thought.

"Lets eat shall we?"

I sat down and began eating and I must say, I have to thank my mother for her cooking tips and advice. After eating, I told Minuette about my new job and that I have to play at a concert tonight, she was delighted by this and wanted to tell the others about it.

"So I`ll see you at concert?" I asked.

"Yep, see you then."

With that, Minuette left as I got my sitar and went down to work with Vinyl. Coming into her shop, I saw the mare and gave me a smile before greeting me.

"Sup, bro?"

"Nothing much, just can`t wait for the concert tonight." I replied back.

"Yeah, its gonna be awesome, I already sent out fliers and posted them all over Ponyville, all we need is a song or 2 to play?"

We both decided to brainstorm ideas through sounds of music, play a few notes until inspiration hit us. It must have felt like an hour before we finally got something and in the end it sounded excellent.

"That was pretty good." Vinyl said as she gave me a high-hoof.

"Yeah, now all we need is another in case of a demand for an encore." I said as I began brainstorming for ideas.

It felt like another 2 hours past and it was already noon and still no ideas seemed to be inspiring until I thought about my meditation song.

"Hey Vinyl, I have a song in mind but, it won`t involve any electric wubs." Vinyl nodded in agreement and replied.

"Hey its cool man, I like the way that instrument sounds anyways." I was glad to hear that but it was time to get some more details about the concert.

"So Vinyl, where is the concert going to take place?"

"Oh, it will be held outside town hall and I heard the Princesses will be there too." This was a golden (no pun intended) opportunity to show the Princesses what human music sounds and looks like.

"Thanks Vinyl, now how about we practice our songs." With that we practiced, had a few breaks here and there, and chatted about music. Soon it was high time for us to head to the concert and we did earlier so we can get our instruments set up. It wasnt long until the audience began to arrive and it wasnt a large audience like a giant rock concert, but a medium sized audience of about 100 ponies or so.

"You ready?" Vinyl asked as we were about to go on.

"Lets do it." I replied as we walked on stage and I could see my friends, marefriend and the Princesses within the audience and Vinyl spoke out as I waved.

"Hello everypony, this is DJ-PON3 and I`m here tonight with a special guest that will be performing with me, the one and only, Torian 'Golden' Scotterian."

I waved to the cheering ponies and got into my sitar playing position and with a nod from Vinyl we began to play for the crowd and show them what human and pony music can do if combined.

After the song ended, the crowd cheers once more as we prepared for my solo and as I tuned it, I saw the Princesses and my friends quite surprised and it made me feel good to let them see a new side of me, the musical side of course. With the applause calming down, I began to play once more with my favorite meditation tune.

After the song ends, the crowd cheers once more as I stood up and bowed in gratitude and walked off the stage and met Vinyl.

"I must say, I always feel more relaxed when you play that and here is your pay." She tosses a small pouch toward me.

I caught the pouch and saw it had about 150 bits inside. "Thanks Vinyl, see you at the shop in 2 days." I said as I left backstage.

"See ya then." Vinyl shouted back.

I then met the others who seemed really happy that I played the sitar so well. "That was so enchanting, darling."

"Yeah, it was 20% cooler when the electric music was with it."

"It made me feel as if I were with my animal friends."

I felt glad I entertained them with my music and gave them a group hug.

"Torian, Me and my sister would like to speak with you in private." Luna said as I released the embraced and walked towards the Lunar and Solar goddesses.

"Torian, was that the instrument Twilight wrote to me about?" Celestia asked. I nodded and asked.

"Did you like the music?"

"Yes it was simply enchanting, but we are more concerned about this 'Attack on Pearl Harbor' that you and Twilight went through." Luna replied as I was confused.

"What do you mean? Do you want to learn more about it?"

"Yes but instead of you telling, we have developed a spell for us and your friends to enter your memories and see what the battle was and learn more about human technology in action." Celestia said as I thought over this.

"They want to see how Pearl Harbor went down, I mean it would be an opportunity to see what the attack did to our fleet, but what happens if they see what happened at Santa Cruz or when the Morrison sank at Okinawa?" Before I could continue, my thoughts were interrupted by Luna speaking again.

"I know your probably afraid of us getting hurt but we will be nothing more than ghosts to your memories, so nothing gets changed or erased."

"Well alright, I`m all for it if you want to learn more about my species technology and history." I replied and smiles formed on their faces.

"Excellent, now we must head back to Twilight`s Library, and we can start there." Celestia said as I grabbed my sitar and thought to myself.

"What am I getting myself into?"

Hey ponies and bronies, Golden here and I just want to say that I don`t own any music that are featured in this story and are owned by their rightful artists.

Secondly, I was thinking about starting a new story, but in the Equestria Girls universe and I want your opinion about it. A new kid enrolls in CHS, but is more like a downer in school with no friends, but he has a dark secret about his father and himself that would put him at great risk, but can 6 girls change his mind about friendship?
