(Toran`s POV)

After my first concert, Me, The Princesses, my friends and marefriend went to the Library to perform a time-travel spell in my memories to see Pearl Harbor and the technology we used like the battleships or aircraft that were used in that moment in time, I on the other hand had some doubts but they really seem interested in seeing my specie`s technology. Once inside the Library, we were all ready to begin.

"Is everypony ready?" Luna asked. we all nodded and the Princesses began to perform the spell.

With a blinding white flash, we were back in Pearl Harbor, on Ford Island. All the ponies except Twilight gasped in amazement at the sight of ships moored in port and the planes inside hangers or parked off the runways.

"So this is the place that gets attacked?" Applejack asked with a little worry.

"Yes, but not until 8:00 am when the first wave strikes" I replied.

"So what was the fashion like here?" Rarity was quite excited and pointed at a lady wearing a fine 40s dress that were really popular. Rarity was simply interested and began examining the dress while Applejack, Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash began looking through a hanger with 2 P-40 Kittyhawks.

"So how fast do these go?" Rainbow asked.

"About 360 miles per hour"

"That is as nowhere as fast as I am." She began to gloat as Pinkie hopped inside the cockpit and looked at the controls, and Applejack looked at the exterior.

Then the first bomb exploded nearby at another hanger and Japanese aircraft soared above us. The attack had begun and Celestia and Luna began to look on at the attack. I flew over to them and guided them to Battleship row.

"So these are all the 8 battleships that were damaged or sunk in the attack?" Luna asked. I simply nodded as Japanese Kate class torpedo bombers began launching torpedoes at the Oklahoma and West Virginia.

'What are those underwater explosives?" Celestia questioned.

"They are called torpedoes, they are self propelled projectiles that can damage or sink a ship from below the waterline, depending on where you hit." I explained as The Arizona violently erupted in a fireball from a bomb hit from a Val dive bomber.

"How does a ship explode with such massive power?" Luna watched as the Arizona`s magazine ignited.

"The bomb detonated within the ship in the ships ammunition storage called the 'magazine', if that goes, the ships doomed." I then remembered something that no other sailor did during the attack. "Follow me." The princesses and the other ponies flew over to me and we were over the harbor near the Farragut class destroyer, USS Monaghan. "See that little destroyer? And now look at that small black wake near it? That is one of the 5 Japanese midget subs that were in this battle.

The USS Monaghan begins moving quickly until a loud 'bang' was heard as the destroyer rams the submarine. Then, the Oklahoma begins to capsize due to the many torpedo hits and the fires that spread from an oil tanker onto the California.

On Ford Island, many planes parked outside the hangers were strafed as men tried to put out the fires, shoot at the enemy, or get planes into the air. some men inside the destroyed hangers either were killed or set on fire. Even the B-17 bomber formation that flew all the way from San Francisco were attacked and some crash landed on the runway.

All the carnage from this first wave earned some gasps and questions as the the Japanese begins to fly back to the carrier force about 230 miles away from Hawaii.

"What was that thing the ship hit? I hope it wasn`t an animal?" Fluttershy asked with worry.

"Don`t worry Fluttershy, it was no animal, but a midget sub built by the enemy."

"What does it do? recon?" Twilight fired another question.

"No, to sneak in the harbor and cause more damage to our fleet."

"you said there were 4 others, where are they?" Luna asked confused.

"Well we know that 1 was killed before the attack by the USS Ward and 2 others were found beached on the island a day after the attack, as for the last midget sub, we are unsure about where it was sunk." I explained calmly at the questions.

At about nearly 9:00 am, the second wave arrived, but this time America was ready, AA guns fired and the Nevada tried to make a run for the channel.

"Run ship RUN GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!" Pinkie shouts at the Nevada, but the ship gets overwhelmed and begins sinking after a few torpedo hits and beaches before blocking the channel.

But nothing more was asked or said as the ponies watched the attack until the Japanese pulled away and saw the devastation on the U.S Fleet. Then with a bright light, we were back in the Library and the Princesses walked up to me.

"We have learned alot about your technology and we wish to build some warships for defense on the sea." Celestia said and I saw an opening for me to ask something that could bring my dream one step closer to reality.

Yes but I wish to ask you for the construction of my dream passenger liner?" I asked with hope.

"But of course, after all you've done for us, it is only fair that this shall be granted to you, just send us the blueprints and we can begin construction." Luna said as I handed them the blueprints in a envelope I kept in my pocket. "We will look these over and send a letter when it`s complete."

"Thank you very much your highness's." I bowed as they smiled. We bid our good-byes and I was on my way back home with Equestria now going through a new technological advance thanks to me.

Secondly, I hope everyone enjoyed the new Equestria Girls Friendship Games movie because it inspired me to make a EG fic myself which I will do soon called 'The Hardships of Dark Shadow' A new downer student at CHS who doesn`t let friendship have a chance nor does he care. But h has a dark secret and can 7 girls change his opinion about friendship or discover why he has a dark secret. Tell me what you think in the comments.
