Author's Note

Hey guys Golden here and I wanted to say that I hope everyone had a great summer and school is just around the corner. I will say this though and I really hope this story will receive a little love from you and that I hope I`m able to continue this.

A Mysterious New World (Revised)

(Golden Oaks Library, Equestria, Torian`s POV)

After what felt like an empty void of darkness, I saw a light and approached towards it probably leading me into heaven with the sight of angels singing. But I could not have been more wrong, For it turns out I was trying to open my eyes. It wouldnt have made sense because I only remembered the Morrisons funnel crashing into me, but the question stayed the same, How did I survive that kind of ordeal?

As I was finally able to open my eyes, I saw a wood ceiling, almost like actual wood as if I were inside a tree house. I took a look at my surroundings and saw that I was in a bed with books and scrolls across the room. "Whoever`s room this is, sure does love his/her research" I thought to myself as I got out of the bed. I looked out the window and it turned out to be approximately 2 after midnight and that this was not a tree house like a little building on top of a tree, but rather a house built inside of the tree.

"Odd architecture, I`m actually impressed how someone could pull this off." I thought once more and continued to look around the new scenery.

I even saw the buildings of some houses with roofs that looked as if they were built out of hay or something, it seemed as if wherever I ended up in was seriously behind on all the technological advances we had invented over the past 40 years since the 19th century. The area also looked as if it were never touched, This also makes little to no sense. Either I was out way longer than I thought and was transported somewhere free of war or I was captured by the Japs and were waiting til I was recovered for me to spill vital Intel.

Suddenly, I snapped back into reality when I heard what appears to be footsteps coming up the stairs, I ran through my thoughts for a moment of what I was going to do, because if this was the Japanese`s new way to persuade me into a false sense of security, well they thought wrong. Then I heard voices coming from behind the door.

"Twilight youve been going over this for the past 2 days now, when can you give it a rest?" A younger boys voice spoke out.

"What kind of a name is Twilight? Was a family trying to help me?" I thought to myself.

"Not until I get some information about this creature and learn about it." An older voice that sounded sister-like.

"Thats all I need to hear, Im out." I thought as I opened the window.

I looked down and saw a stable branch below me, I used it as a footing area to close the window and cover my tracks. I climbed down easily since it reminded me of my Naval Training. As I landed on the ground, I instantly dove into a bush and peeked to see any security. Seeing nothing, I crept out and made my way to a building for cover before I plot out my next move, but it turns out I was spotted by a girl`s screaming.

"Hey, Stop!" This was my cue to getting the hell out of there and I began running. But it turns out that the girls voice I heard wasnt the only one after me, it was 6. As I took a look back behind me, they were not human at all, they were some kind of horses, with either wings, horns, or neither. but with no time to continue thinking about it, I kept running even when I entered some dankly forest.

Then a rainbow blur rushed out until it got in front of me. With my natural instinct kicking in, I used my momentum to push the horse`s head down into the ground as I jumped over it. I then rolled onto the ground before I got up and kept running. But I never knew that would come back to get me soon, literally, the same rainbow-maned horse flew right in behind me and pushed me on my back with a searing pain that felt as if I got hit by a 15 mph train.

I stumbled to the ground with the rainbow-maned horse overlooking me and what I never expected took me completely by surprise.

"How was that? cuz I got more where that came from." She said in a tomboyish tone.

I lifted myself off the ground and as I did, the 5 other colorful horses surrounded me, with no way out. n a situation like this and no escape will come to my mind, I knew when I was beaten. So in respect, I got to my knees and put my hands over the back of my head and said. "You win, I Surrender."

"There is no need for that, sugarcube." the orange horse spoke in a southern accent.

"We just want to know more about you darling." the white horse said in a polish voice as if she were rich or something.

"So, you dont want to know about the American Navys movement and your not part of the Japanese?" I asked to confirm what they were saying was true and pushing away all the logic that ponies can talk.

"The American- Navy?" The purple horse questioned.

"What are the J-Japanese?" the yellow timid horse asked.

And just like that, realization hit me, I was no longer on earth and these colorful horses have no idea there was a big war going on in my world. But then I figured it was time to for an introduction.

As I got up I began to ask. "Well as long as we are good, what the heck are you and where am I?" The purple horse walked up and spoke up.

"Your in Equestria, a land founded by ponies of all kind and ruled by 2 Princesses, Celestia and Luna and my name is Twilight Sparkle, and these are my friends Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy." she pointed at each of the horses as they were introduced.

"Pleasure to meet you, Im Lieutenant Torian 'Golden' Scotterian, Aboard the USS Morrison of the United States Navys 75th Fleet ." I introduced myself before asking. "So what species are you?"

"Me and Applejack are regular ponies, Twilight and Rarity are unicorns and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are pegasi." Pinkie explained with glee.

"May we ask the same to ya, sugarcube?" Applejack asked.

"Well, Im just surprised Im seeing actual pegasi and unicorns since where I come from, you are just mythological beings." I explained before answering. "And Im whats known as a human."

"I`ve never heard of humans before, which means since your new to Equestria and I can advance my studies a whole new level." Twilight said with glee.

"Don`t worry about her, she gets like this whenever she becomes the ultimate egghead." Rainbow said unamused by her friends obsession with research.

"And I must say that I really must do something about your clothing, it would look spectacular without all those tears and rips." Rarity pointed out as I looked at my navy uniform.

"And I still need to plan you 'Welcome to Ponyville' party by tomorrow and -" Pinkie said before being cut off by Applejack

"Shall we continue this conversation in the morning because I`m tuckered out like a bull after a rodeo." Applejack said before yawning in exhaustion.

I had to agree with her, I was pretty tired after running almost 3 miles. So Me and Twilight left to the tree house while the others left to their homes and I`m just going to say this that I may actually like it here.
