(HMS Warrior, Equestrian Sea, 3rd POV)

Through the night on the Equestrian Sea, The HMS Warrior steams toward Equestria after reaching the Gallopagos Island with over 2,213 ponies and human aboard. At 10:50 pm, as Torian eats with his friends on C Deck, below in Boiler Room 4 , Chief Stoker, Coal Burner was in charge and looks over the other stokers.

Near the stern of the ship in the Engine room, Chief Engineer Steel Craft helps out engineers keep the steam pressure stable and makes sure to change the engine speed whenever ordered from the bridge. For now they are on a little cider break until further orders are issued from the bridge.

But in the Boiler Rooms each coal storage unit is in between each boiler and an AC unit is placed to keep the coal from burning from the heat of the boilers nearby, but in Boiler Room 4 close to the bow of the ship, an AC unit fails and shuts off allowing heat inside the coal storage unit and cooking up the coal like a furnace. But another flaw is that due to the coal dust at the bottom of the storage unit and the hoof tracks on the floor the heat begins to ignite the coal and as the flames got onto the dust, an explosion erupts and a large hole rips open in the hull about 10 feet long and 5 feet high. The explosion vibrats throughout the ship, but ponies pass by it as if they had hit a wave.

"Sweet Celestia!!!!" Coal Burner shouts as he witnesses the explosion, seeing a few ponies burn, and water flooding the boiler room. He quickly escapes with a few other stokers to the stern and quickly entering the Engine Room in a panic manner.

"What`s going on?" Steel Craft asks.

"Boiler Room 4 exploded and we are taking on water quickly, Phone the bridge and seal off the doors quickly!" Coal Burner shouts as he phones the bridge.

On the Bridge, the phone rings and Officer Sea Shore answers. "Yes Engine Room?"

"This is Chief Stoker Coal Burner, Boiler Room 4 has exploded and we are taking on water fast, close the watertight doors fast."

"Aye sir." Sea Shore acknowledges and turns to the crew. "Quick All Stop and close the Watertight doors."

The crew does as instructed as the doors seal off heavily flooded boiler room 4 and the vibrating engines slowly grind to a halt.

"We need to inform the Captain." Ocean Crescent says as the other`s agree.

"Right, River Strike and Zeal Fury go inform the Captain and bring him into the Bridge." Sea Shore orders as the 2 Officers go to C Deck to get their Captain.

(Torian`s POV)

"But after that I pretty much loved agriculture as a child." I said explaining my story of my early years of childhood on my family`s farm.

"That`s one heck of a story." Applejack said chowing down on the mashed potatoes.

"Yeah, especially when you had to harvest an entire field by yourself like Applejack sometimes." Rainbow added in.

But then 2 of my officers came up to me and Zeal Fury whispers into my ear.

"Boiler Room 4 exploded, please head up to the bridge."

I shook my head and turned to my friends. "Im sorry everypony, but it seems I need to attend to an important matter, but Ill see you all soon." I said calmly.

"OK, well see you tomorrow." Minuette siad as I left to the Bridge. Once there, I saw my crew awaiting for me and asked. "What Happened in Boiler Room 4?"

"Chief Stoker Coal Burner says it exploded and told us to seal off the flooding and I issued a full stop." Sea Shore answered.

"Sea Shore, Zeal Fury with me, were going for a damage inspection and then Ill see if we have enough time to save the ship." I said as we headed down to Boiler Room 4.

When we entered, I was shocked to see how much Boiler Room 4 flooded and was beyond repair.

"Captain?" Zeal asked.

"I need to look at the blueprints, come on." I said as we raced back to the Bridge, pulled out the blueprints and I began calculating. After a minute Sea Shore asked. "How much time, Captain?"

"Well, Boiler Room 4 is actually a well concealed watertight compartment, so we are still fine, but we may want to take it slow with the speed so we dont rupture any rivets or cause the hole to expand." I said which brought a wave of relief over everypony and we set the EOTs to Slow, The vibrating engines slowly started up again and we were only traveling at about 10 knots.

As the Warrior slowly steams once more, everything seemed fine as ponies made their way to bed. But after an hour of what seemed to be fortune smiling upon the ship, another AC unit fails in Boiler Room 3 and like Boiler Room 4, the coal dust ignites and expands the hole longer and wider, but Boiler Room 3s watertight compartment isnt as well concealed as Boiler Room 4 and can easily spill over into the next compartment. Once again feeling the vibration, I felt something was wrong.

"Captain, you felt that right?" Ocean Crescent asked worryingly.

"Sea Breeze, call the Engine room and tell them to slow us down." I ordered as Sea Breeze phone`s the Engine Room while I looked at the blueprints and based on how much water was entering the ship due to the size of the hull breach. "This ship has less than an hour to live, and with the pumps, will only buy us minutes." I told the crew as they seemed sad to know the ship will sink.

"Sir, shall we ready the boats?" Zeal Fury asks?"

"Yes and wake all the passengers and get them to the boat deck and be sure they have their life vests on." I said as the crew left.

(3rd POV)

After the abandonment of ship order was issued, The 2 telegraph operators Quick Hoof and Letter Post, were ordered to send out S.O.S signals and C.Q.D distress messages. The telegraph can reach about almost 200 miles from the ship and gives plenty of hope that rescue will be able to come soon.

Below decks in the cabin areas, stewards and officers began waking up ponies and telling them to put on their life vests and come to the boat deck ASAP. Some ponies considered it and began to go up to the boat deck while others didn`t put on the life vests and headed to the dining areas for a drink of cider and possibly a game of cards.

On the Boat Deck, Officers were quickly trying to uncover and swing out the lifeboats as the ship begins to slowly list to starboard. But below decks in the lower cabins, water floods the deck and beginning to rise higher up to a pony`s knee. As the Mane 6, Spike and Minuette felt the vibrating engines not humming as loudly as usual, they head into the hallway and saw the water rising toward them.

"Uh oh, the ship`s flooding, we got to get everypony out of here." Twilight says frantically.

"I`m on it, just hurry and get to the boat deck." Rainbow says as she zips room to room warning ponies that the ship was sinking.

"Alright, let`s go." Applejack says, but Rarity begins to pack her clothing. "NOW!"

"Alright then, I suppose I`ll make more once we head home." Rarity sighs as she and the rest of the gang head to the Grand Staircase to see it packed with ponies.

In the Bridge, Letter Post hands Captain Torian a telegraph of the HMS Honoluna responded to the Warrior`s distress calls.

"How long will she be here?" Torian asks.

"About 3 hours." Letter Post replies.

"3 hours?! Are their any other responses?" Torian asks once more.

"Yes, but they were too far away to reach us in time, The Honoluna is the closest ship sir." Letter Post explains.

"Thank you, Letter." Captain sighs and dismisses the Telegraph operator.

As time progresses, water was about to begin surging onto top deck on the bow and time was running out. Luckily all the boats have been uncovered and are ready to be filled.

"Sir, how shall we load the boats?" Ocean Crescent asks.

"Fill them all to the maximum capacity." Torian replied as Ocean Crecsent passes the order on

"OK ponies, come towards me, come towards me." Sea Shore shouts at the pony passengers on deck. "Right, Now we are going to be loading in an orderly fashion and fill these boats at the maximum capacity." Ponies begin to fill the boats but some had families and did not wish to be separated and Octavia and her classical band were on deck to play music to calm everypony and began with their first piece.

As the band played, each boat has a capacity of about 70 ponies and with the 37 boats on board everypony can be saved, but since there were 4 boats on the forecastle deck that is beginning to submerge, not everypony will survive.

Suddenly, Lights begin to flicker and the bow is pulled deeper into the ocean and the propellers were begin to breach the surface and still rotating. But the first 6 boats were successfully launched and others had already began lowering them. But due to the increasing starboard list, some boats had become impossible or difficult to launch and by the time the Mane 6, Spike and Minuette had reached the boat deck, some ponies were beginning to panic and throw some deck chairs or any buoyant materials in the water.

"Man, this is really serious." Minuette began to fear as the situation became dire.

"Come on ponies lets get onto a boat." Applejack said as she trotted to a boat that had a few open seats as she, Rarity, Spike, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash filled in the boat.

'Alright, I`ll see you girls later and please be careful." Twilight said as the boat began to be lowered into the water.

(Torian`s POV)

I abandoned the Bridge a while ago to find my chief Officer and saw him helping filling in a boat. "Sea Shore, your relieved of duty, everypony for themselves, but it has been an honor serving with you." I said as Sea Shore saluted with me one last time before I headed to the stern and met some of my friends Twilight, Minuette and, Fluttershy.

"I`m glad to see your safe." I said with happiness as we hugged for a moment.

"We are glad your OK, and the others made it to a boat." Minuette said as I was glad some of my friends were OK. I looked over and saw Octavia`s band perform one final song.

Then the boat deck became level with the water and the Boat deck began flood. We began to run to the stern of the ship and to port as the starboard list became more and more unstable to the point where you slide across the deck. Then a boat was swinging on it`s davit with a few other ponies cutting the wires to free the boat and saw an opportunity to save my friends.

"Quickly to that boat." I said as we raced to the boat and Twilight and Fluttershy got into the boat, but Minuette refused to stay behind. "Minuette your turn." I said gently as she held onto my leg and beginning to cry.

"I...I dont want to lose you, Your too precious to me and I cant leave you." Minuette said as she began to sob some more. so I turned to her and said.

"Your not going to lose me, remember all the times when I was in a situation, I made it through and I guarantee you that I will survive this, do you trust me?" I asked looking into her eyes. she nodded and I gave her one passion filled kiss on her lips before placing her into the boat with Twilight and Fluttershy before the boat was lowered into the water and I saw Minuette staring at me with her sad eyes, but I now need to focus on my survival.

I climbed onto the railing on the port side of the ship`s stern and held on as many other ponies did the same, slid across the deck, or jumped into the ocean. but with the propellers still turning, placing your jump would be safe and recently a boat filled with ponies were sliced up by the port side propeller. but as the Warrior sank deeper and the Bridge underwater, the #1 funnel behind the Bridge collapsed to the right and crushed a few ponies who were under the 50 foot steel cylinder.

As the end drew closer, the propellers finally stopped, the Grand Staircase flooded and many other iconic hot spots on the ship, the lights flickered once more but didn`t turn on again, but what really scared me was the cracking sound of the hull and like a big bone, the ship split in two and the starboard side of the stern slams into the water as the bow pulls the stern almost vertical as I climbed the railing to as far as I could go.

"Well, this is it, the end of the Warrior." I thought as the ship slips beneath the waves and I was almost being dragged down but was shot back up to the surface by the escaping air, but I realized that many portholes were open and caused the flooding and sinking of the stern to go quicker instead of the stern sitting vertical.

As I`m now in the freezing cold water of the Equestrian Sea and the sounds of cries for help filled the air I looked around for any wreckage to float on and to my surprise I did and floated on an overturned boat with 2 other ponies. We began pulling a few ponies as we waited for help.

For almost half an hour, about 10 ponies were on the overturned boat with me and the sea was silent because of the many ponies that froze to death from hypothermia. I was getting cold myself and decided to huddle with the others to conserve body heat until a flash of flight appeared not to far away, a boat had came back to rescue us.

"Hey over here!"

"Help, were here and alive!"

Please, Save us!"

With that our prayers were answered as the light was directed at us and the boat came around and picked us all up, but unfortunately, more lives were lost from the account of bodies Ive seen about 1,000 or more might have died from the frozen sea. But it wasnt long until The Honoluna arrived to pick up the 13 boats that were successfully launched.

As we boarded the ship through either ladder or cargo net, we were provided with blankets and hot chocolate to warm ourselves up as the Honoluna steams back to Manehattan. I met up with all my friends and Minuette who seemed more happy to see me. But among the 2,213 ponies aboard, only 1,303 died including 4 of my officers, many stokers and engineers. 910 managed to get on a lifeboat or survived the freezing sea to be rescued including Officers Sea Shore, Zeal Fury, Ocean Crescent, telegraph Operator Letter Post and Chief Stoker and Engineer Coal Burner and Steel Craft.
