(Torian`s POV) 1 week after Timber wolf attack

"Hi Torian, I was um wondering how you were doing?" The blue unicorn asked as if she was being watched. I looked over her to see behind a bush was 2 other mares giggling silently.

"H-How did you?" She was cut off as I pointed at the bush where the 2 other mares were, They stopped giggling and ran off.

"Yes I would like to join you on a date." I replied with a smile and a kiss on her cheek which instantly made her blush. We both went into Ponyville to a cafe for lunch where we both ate and chat.

"So, Minuette, who were those mares anyway?" I asked as Minuette seemed to stutter a little.

"They are my friends, Derpy and Roseluck, they have been trying to get me to do things ever since I told them about my crush on you." She replied quite embarrassed.

"Well, I like you for you only, your friends need to remember your`re your own pony and you can handle yourself." I said which made her smile.

"Thanks, but you know this is my first relationship with somepony and I`m still quite nervous about this." Minuette said. I looked at her and gave her a passionate kiss across her muzzle before saying.

After leaving the cafe, we left toward my house as I invited her inside and treat her like the house guest a gentleman would do.

"Would you like anything?" I asked her but she simply smiled and shook her head.

"I do have a question though, before you joined this war back on your world, what was your life like then?" I honestly never told anypony about my past before the war, but this was almost as sad as when I lost my entire squadron at Santa Cruz.

"Well, I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1924. My Mother, Father, Sister and I worked on a farm we owned for a generation. Life was great out in the rural country where we get paid for the crops we grew and we could make about $150 a month. But all that changed in 1929, When Americas Stock Market crashed and billions worth of money was lost. It was even more devastating when The Dust Bowl arrived, A massive drought that killed our crops and we couldnt make money or food. Eventually my parents had to try and find work, but for another 6 years, life was hard and My sister died of starvation and my mother died from a heat stroke. My Father left before they died and went to California to get gold and lots of money for us, but a gold mine collapsed and he died in 1937. I was on my own for another 3 years until 1940 when I joined the U.S Air Force to somehow make a difference in my family. I still remember that farm and all the memories we shared, especially this photo of my family before the crash." I explained and showed the mare the picture.

"Thats a nice family you had there and Id bet theyd be proud for what youve done since then." Minuette comforted me in a tender embrace, which I happily returned.

Hey Guys, Golden here and I just wanted to say that Im no economical person here so I really dont entirely understand the whole stock market deal, All I know is that when the market crashed, People lost potentially billions of dollars, so if you could tell me a little more knowledge about the Market and why it crashed that would be awesome.

Secondly, the picture I used to describe Torians family is another family. I dont own this nor is it one of my ancestors pictures, I use this to give you a picture of what Torians family could have looked like.

Lastly, this was my first love scene in this story and I do wish to make better ones in the future, but like the story itself, I hope you enjoyed.
