Exploring The Mind of Pinkamena Diane Pie

In the coziness of her home, Twilight Sparkle was at work at her desk. She was busy with a project she had been working on for quite some time now, and had put all her attention towards. This project was focused on one peculiar mare who had caught Twilight's attention ever since she had moved into town. This peculiar mare was Pinkamena Diane Pie, a pony that others often couldn't understand.

Pinkamena, otherwise known as Pinkie Pie, had the most unnatural of abilities, and had the wildest antics. This is what made her such a hard subject, in Twilight's part, and why she had failed in her past attempt of research. This time, however, she had came up with a plan that was sure to be fool proof.

Any moment from now, the subject and Twilight's other friends would walk through the door of the mare's study room. There and then, she would be able to complete her research.

"Do you think Twilight's home?"

A quiet voice entered the room, along with the sound of hooves pounding against the floor. Twilight smiled, her guests had arrived.

"Hello, Girls!" Twilight greeted. She stood up from the chair she had been sitting on, leaving it to wobble aimlessly.

The lavender mare's friends smiled back. Pinkie spoke up in curiosity.

"Watcha' Doing Twilight?"

Twilight smirked at Pinkie Pie, she raised a hoof, as if to signal the mares to follow her. The mares replied just as Twilight had wanted, following her into a small door in the study room.

Opening the door, the mares stared in awe at what they saw. The room had many gizmos and gadgets hung on it's walls, and paper filled with data covered the floors. This certainly did look like something Twilight would be doing though.

"What is all this, Twilight?" Rainbow Dash questioned. Twilight's eye brightened up at the chance to educate her friend's in her studies. She took a long breath in before explaining.

"You see girls, I've been working on this project for months now! Maybe even neglecting myself a bit, but it was all worth it! You see! I've been doing something research on our dear friend Pinkie Pie here! And this is the outcome!"

Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy stood silent, confused by the sudden outburst. Pinkie Pie, however, understood it completely.

"Cool! What are we gonna do with all this stuff!" Pinkie asked in pure bliss.

"Well Pinkie Pie, me and the other girls are going to go inside your mind, subconsciously! Isn't it great!"

Pinkie's wide smile dismissed, causing Twilight to worry for her pink friend.

"What's wrong Pinkie? Do you not want us to go inside your mind because, I mean, it was only a few months that I took off for research!" Twilight stuttered, she had not meant to upset her friend. In fact, she had thought Pinkie Pie would have been delighted about this.

"It's not that Twilight." Pinkie's smile widened." It's just, I didn't think I wouldn't be able to have fun with you guys. You know, since you'll be inside my head and all!"

"Oh." Twilight's head hung as dropped the checklist she had been levitating. Her wide smile vacant from her face at this sudden news.

"But Twilight! You've worked so hard on this! I don't want to make you waste all that time nothing!"

The lavender smile slightly smiled at her friend," No..No..Pinkie Pie.. you don't have too.."

"I will! I Pinkie Promise"

"Pinkie.."

"There's no stopping her now, Twilight." Applejack intruded, a wide smile was plastered on her face." Once she Pinkie Promises to do something there's no stopping her."

The 6 mares cheered in unison at the exciting experience, cheering at the top of their voices. For their exciting adventures was going to begin.

Twilight had managed to get Pinkie Pie to lie down, then injected her with a syringe(This being hard because of her fear of needles) full of anesthesia that should last up for a week if undisturbed. Pinkie had fallen to sleep only moments later, allowing the girls to get ready for their adventure. However, as usual, Fluttershy was hesitant.

"Are you sure we can just poke around her head like that?" asked Fluttershy." I don't think she would like it that much."

"Oh Fluttershy, darling, she wouldn't have allowed us to do it if she didn't want us too." Rarity said to the pegusas, even giving a little wink for some extra reassurance.

"Well. Okay.." Fluttershy smiled weakly.

"If that's over with, let's get started already! I want to see with stuff Pinkie Pie has inside that noggin of her's!" Rainbow cheered. As usual, the cyan mare was excited for the journey to come.

"Is everyone ready?" Twilight asked the group. The 4 mares nodded in reply." Great! Everyone put on one of those helmets on those stools over there." Twilight pointed to 5 wood stools that were placed next to one of the machines, the helmets were decorated with many buttons and wires that were connected to gadgets all over the place.

"Well if that's all we need, ah' think we better be off." said Applejack, removing her hat and placing the helmet on her head.

"I guess so." Twilight nodded in agreement, her magical aura lighting up on a switch that was plastered on a machine. She flicked it, causing the 5 mares to fill with glee.

"Oh this is so exciting!" said Fluttershy.

"You bet it is!" Rainbow Dash agreed, doing mental flips.

And then, the world went dark, and Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy collapsed to the floor.

The 5 mares screamed at the top of their lungs as they plummeted towards the ground. No matter how hard they tried, nopony had the strength to fly or cast a spell to save them, oddly. So they screamed, and they kept screaming until they hit what it seemed to be a wood surface. The girls moaned as Twilight spoke up.

"Is Everypony, okay?"

"Yep." Rainbow Dash grumbled.

"Yea."  said Rarity and Fluttershy, giggling at their similar moment of speech.

"Yea.." Applejack groaned.

"I sure am!"

A 6th voice popped into the conversation, startling the mares. For some reason, her voice sounded familiar. Twilight used all her strength and casted a simple light spell to reveal the speaker. What they saw was unbelievable.

"Pinkie Pie?!" the 5 mares gasped, Rarity fainted in her usual dramatic way.

"Are you new here or something? I'm not Pinkie Pie! I'm Tourist Pie!" the Pinkie look alike giggled. She lifted up a lantern to reveal that the girls had fallen into what seemed to be a boat. Populated by Pinkie Pie's.

"Welcome to Pinkie Tours!" 'Tourist' Pie giggled, she pointed to a sign that hung above the boat with the words, Pinkie Tours, written in a bold red. The 5 mares looked at her in confusion.

"We here at 'Pinkie Tours' are here to show you the life of Pinkamena Diane Pie!" Tourist Pie exclaimed, other Pinkie's in the boat cheering along side her. "And looks like your on time for the History lesson!"

Rainbow Dash shook her head in a confused manner. She stared at Tourist Pie, then the rest of the Pinkie's, and finally to her friends. She almost smiled as she came to her realization.

"Guys! We're inside of Pinkie Pie!"
