Negotiations

The Helghast soldiers continued down the hallway towards the chamber that the princess would be waiting for them and most were nervous while the others including Syth were dreading the meeting. If there was one thing Syth could not stand it was by far politics he understood the need of it but he disliked how sometimes there will be that one jackass who has a stick shoved far up their ass and thinks that everything should go their way he just hoped that the princess wasn't like that. The Helghast soldiers came to a pair of doors with two unicorn guards standing on either side of it holding only spears. Syth couldn't help but chuckle a bit at how 'basic' the weapons were on this planet it was almost saddening, Syth also noticed that the six civilians that were there as well talking to each other but all stopped and looked at the Helghast as they continued to walk, but before anyone could go through the door a guard stood in front of Radec and spoke up.

"Sorry sir, but the princess wanted to talk to only you so your soldiers will have to stay out here" Syth was about to protest but Radec motioned him to stay silent.

"Very well, but I will call them in should the need arise" the guard nodded and opened the door to let Radec through. While the rest of the troops stayed vigilant and alert Syth and Razer decided to sit on the floor and talk for a bit.

"So how you holding up Syth it looked like the bug queen gave you quite the thrashing back at the throne room"

"I've suffered worst in training you know that first hand, remember our old drill sargent" both of them started to laugh a little bit at that. They many great times and not so great times back at the academy especially how tough their old drill sargent was on them. Syth remembered when he and Razer pulled a prank on him by having a remote firecracker in the toilet and to this day Syth still didn't know how Razer convinced him to help with it, but needless to say that after their little stunt the Sargent made them clean all the toilets in the academy for three weeks. When the graduated from the academy a few years later the drill sargent told them that he was very proud of both of them even though they could be a serious pain in the ass. While they were reminiscing one of the civilians appeared in front of them from seemingly nowhere with the biggest smile on her face. She was pink everywhere her mane and tail were a darker shade and extremely curly, she wore a baby blue T-shirt and khaki shorts, on her arm was what appeared to be a tattoo of three balloons.

"HeythereimPinkiePieandIwantedsaythankyouforsavingmeandmyfreindsandsavingtheweddingalsoIneedtothrowyouapartyhaveyoueverbeentoapartyorevenlikeparties?"

Both Razer and Syth sat there with dumbfounded expressions which was hidden by their helmets. Razer was the first to shake his head and respond. "Ok three questions One: can you repeat that but slower, Two: what drugs are you on, Three: where can I get some?"

She gave him a confused look "what are drugs?" Razer was about to answer before Syth gave him a nudge in the side signaling for him to stop.

"Sorry about him, he tends to open his mouth before he thinks" said Syth while he hoped to keep Razer out of trouble.

"Thats ok I was saying thank you for saving me, my friends, and the wedding also was going to ask if you like parties and my name is Pinkie Pie!"

"Well thank you for clearing that up but to answer your questions no I don't like parties because I've never been to one except for some fancy diplomatic ones and before you ask no I don't celebrate my birthday."

The pink pony woman gave him a shocked look "what!?!? how can you not have birthday parties didn't your parents ever throw you one?"

Syth froze, his parents were never able to throw parties for him on his birthday due to financial problems before they died but they were able to at least get him one present a year. The jobs they had wasn't the best paying ones but at least it put food on the table. Razer looked over at him and shook his shoulder trying snap him out of it Syth just shook his head and looked at the woman before answering.

"No, they couldn't but they were able to get me presents" Pinkie just smiled and ran off saying something about a surprise and cake.

"Well...that was weird" Razer said while looking at Syth

"Yeah well we don't exactly discover planets with anthropomorphic ponies on a daily basis now do we."

"Guess not."

Just then another one of the civilians actually flew over right up to Syth and was in his face. She was a bright blue with a rainbow mane and tail, she was wearing a periwinkle T-shirt and regular blue jeans on her arm was a tattoo of a cloud with a lighting bolt that was colored rainbow coming out of the bottom.

"Can I help you miss."

Razer just sighed "I bet Radec doesn't have to put up with anything this annoying."

"I bet Syth and his team doesn't have to put up with anything this annoying" Radec thought as he sat their and listened to a noble named Blueblood trying to argue with Celestia about the Helghast and how they should be thrown in the dungeon or something and it was starting to irritate him.

"For the last time Blueblood I'm not going to order the arrest of the Helghast just because you have problem with how they didn't take the time to help you carry all of your belongings when they were evacuating the city." The princess was getting tired of this it was supposed to be a meeting between her, her sister and Radec but before anything could be said Blueblood barged in regardless of the princess's orders. That was one thing that Radec couldn't stand disobedience due to the fact that the Helghast military program was very thorough when weeding out the weak and disobedient and thus was a rare problem to deal with. When it was a problem however the disciplinary actions that were used was so terrible that just after one trip those soldiers never behaved like that again.

"So you're going to let them get away with treating me, a member of royalty, like a common peasant" Blueblood was clearly getting aggravated that he wasn't getting his way.

"No more of this leave now or I will have the guards throw you out" Blueblood didn't argue instead he left the room with a huff. With all that said and done Radec was able to get a better look at her she was at least seven feet tall and unlike the other locals he saw she had both a horn and wings, she was white with a rainbow mane that seemed to flow on its own, she wore a sleeveless white robe with gold highlights, she also wore a gold tiara on her head. Radec also noticed that she had a tattoo of a sun on her arm before she started to address him.

"I apologize for that Blueblood's behavior he acts more like a child than a prince most of the time."

"Its alright if I had to guess he probably wasn't given enough discipline as a child" the princess giggled at that due how true it was.

"I believe introductions are in order, I am Princess Celestia co-ruler of Equestria" she said as she took a seat across from the Helghast.

"I am Colonel Mael Radec, current Ruler of the Helghan Empire."

Celestia seemed to calm at his answer she was afraid that the alien sitting across from her was going to be some overlord and would demand that she and her kingdom surrender to them but fortunately that was not the case. "What may I ask are you and your people doing here I find it hard to believe that you came just because of an invasion."

Radec then proceeded to tell her of the war, the attack on Helghan, the assassination of Scholar Visari, and finally being driven from their home world. The more Radec explained the more furious Celestia became the fact that the Helghast were forced off of their home planet and being persecuted angered her, she couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards Radec and the rest of the Helghast.

"What will you and your people do now?"

"I propose an alliance princess if you are interested"

"Go on" she said her tone turning serious.

"Since my people are in need of a new home and it is obvious that you have more enemies than you were prepared for so my offer is this, you give me and my people territory for a new nation where we have our own laws and government and in return you will have not only our allegiance but access to our technology and training for your military seeing that most of your soldiers are lacking any." Radec stood up and held out a hand to Celestia at first she looked hesitant but then she realized that he made very good points ones that she, unfortunately, couldn't deny. The threats to Equestria were getting more and more dangerous so much so that even the Elements of Harmony could eventually become obsolete and that truly terrified her this alliance might be what she needs to keep her and her subjects safe.

"Very well I accept this alliance and its terms" she shook hands with Radec before they left to address the ponies and helghast outside. When Celestia stepped out into the hallway her eyes widened and her movement ceased when she saw Rainbow Dash and the helghast known as Syth wrestling on the floor. The wrestling lasted only for a little bit before Syth was on top and pinned Rainbow Dash to the ground by her wrists.

"I win" he stated and proceeded to get off leaving a very flustered Rainbow Dash before offering his hand which she took. Once both were on their feet/hooves they turned to see Radec and Celestia staring at them.

"What?" they both asked in perfect sync.

(Helghast Holding Cell)

Chrysalis was sitting in one off the alien holding cells with a look of shame, she had failed herself as well as her subjects. She probably thought the aliens were going to kill her and her remaining subjects which frightened her beyond anything else. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard footsteps she looked up to see one of the aliens in elegant looking armor standing in front of her.

"Queen Chrysalis I presume" it, apparently a 'he', asked

"Who wants to know?"

"I am Colonel Mael Radec and I have an offer for you."
