A new world, A new start

It was supposed to be an easy job, get in, take anything of worth and then get out. But no one told me that this person was expecting me and also was hired to take me out.

Oh shit I forgot to introduce my self. The names Crane Hayate, a thief and a bloody good one to. I have short brown hair and green eyes. I'm wearing a black shirt with black pants, black shoes with soft padding on them to lessen the sound of my foot steps, a black cap with a hood and a mask that covers just my mouth so nobody knows who I am (Think Garrett from the Thief game). Also I'm an otaku meaning I love anime especially the My Little Pony: FiM series. I don't know what it is about the colorful talking ponies learning about friendship but whenever I watch that show I forget why I'm a thief and I bet you're wondering why I'm a thief. Well about 13 years ago when I was five my mother got really ill and she couldn't work to pay the bills and my Dad left for some bimbo he meet at a bar. Anyway because my Mom couldn't work I had to turn to stealing to feed us both and just be able to keep a roof over our heads. After two years she finally died and the council tried to take me to an orphanage but I kept avoiding them thanks to my special skills. After three years of avoiding them I manged to find an abandoned house with working electricity and everything, even a free T.V. and that's about when I became an otaku and a brony.

Back to the main story, I was robbing this rich, pompous assholes house and I mean rich. He was so rich he had two of the best sports cars money could buy, anyway he must've seen in the newspaper about some thief that was robbing multiple house and has never gotten caught so he probably hired this guy to protect his goods and that's how I found myself in this predicament. A hired thug with what looked to be like an M1911 pistol and me with a jet black butterfly knife, which I only used in emergency's like this. I opened it like how the spy does in TF2 in hopes that I can defend my self. The just laughs with his eyes close. 'Bad mistake buddy' I thought to my self as I used his stupidity of closing his eyes to a thief and quickly went into the other room that I used to get in. I heard him shout out words that would make his mother wash his mouth out with soap. I chuckled at this.

"Rule 1 when facing a thief" I said quietly to my self.

My eyes widened when I heard the distinctive sound of metal bouncing of metal.

"Never take your eyes off of a thief. Isn't that right 'Ghost'." My eyes widened when I heard that voice. I slowly turned around and I saw someone that I thought I would never see again.

" 'Seraph' bu-bu-but how? I thought you."

"Died."

"Yeah. How did you survive that fall?"

"Heh like you would like to know." 'Seraph' coldly said.

"Man 'Prophet' is gonna be so hap-" I started to say until I heard a bang and my chest started to burn in pain. I looked down and saw a bullet wound smack bang were my heart is. "Why?" I asked while coughing up blood, I then fell back onto the wall behind me.

"BECAUSE YOU LEFT ME TO DIE!" She shouted at me.

"No I-I-I tried to *COUGH* save you remember." I said with a weak smile.

She then walked over to me with a sadistic grin on her face, when she reached me she proceeded to stomp her foot on my chest causing me even more pain.

"Save me" She laughed, "Yeah you saved me alright. Saved me from that stupid guild and its rules. Now I'm a thieving mercenary." She said with a sadistic grin.

After a while of her laughing and stomping on my chest I started to black out.

'Guess this is it. Mom. Looks like your fears came to pass I became a thief and know I'm paying for it. If I could redo my hole life I would find a way to help us and not become like this and die like this. I know I've done some terrible things in the past but ext time around I'm gonna try really hard to be a good person' And with that I blacked out.

"So you want a redo ay?" I heard a gruff voice that I could only explain that sounded like a stone through a grinder.

"Who the hell is there?" I shouted into nothingness expecting a reply.

"I said you want a redo?" The voice said again but from behind me so I quickly turned around and I saw the Grim Reaper himself.

"Why the hell would the Grim Reaper himself be giving me a redo?" I asked a bit skeptical.

"Because you weren't supposed to die at this age He said.

"Well there's nothing else I can do at this time. Fine, sooooooo what Imma gonna be reborn or something." Asked with sarcasm.

"No unfortunately not. All you have to do is step through this portal" He said while pointing to a black portal with orange outlines.

"Okay but where will I end up?" I asked, stepping closer to the portal.

"I have no clue." He said.

"Wait what?"

"BYE BYE." He said in a voice that sounded like Samantha from Black Ops zombies.

And with a push I fell through the portal and blacked out a second time.

After god knows how long I finally came through with a pounding headache, as I reached with my hoof to rub my...head...ache...

Hoof.

Hoof.

With my hoof... Holy. Crap. I looked down and lone behold instead of hands and feet I had hooves.

"WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!" I shouted out loud which made some nearby birds to fly off. I started to hyperventilate for a couple of minuets before I calmed down. I noticed a puddle nearby and tried to walk to it, emphasis on tried as this resulted me tripping over my fee..errr... hooves. After a couple minuets of this I finally got the hang of walking and walked towards the puddle to look at my reflection and instead of seeing myself as a human I saw my self as a unicorn. I then proceeded to pull down my hood to see my face. I still had my green eyes and brown hair but I also had a horn coming from my head and I also had the same color fur that Luna has when she was turned back into a pony. I pulled my hood back up and checked to see if I still had all my gear which, to my luck, I still did, from my lock picks to my butterfly knife.

And then out of the corner of my eye I noticed a silver furred unicorn with a money pouch on him, 'Time to see if I've still got.' I said to my self as I tested to see if I'm still as good as a thief as a pony like when I was human. As I neared him I decided to test out my magic, I focused my magic on getting out my butterfly knife to cut the pouch off of him which I managed to do with out fail but the next part screwed me over as I got cocky and tried to focus my magic on the money pouch and my knife at the same ti which caused my knife and his pouch to fall on the ground with a clink noise. But before the pony could turn around I already picked up my knife and his money pouch and hoofed it out of there.

"*PANT-PANT-PANT* Man that was to close. But at least it all worked out, now time to look at my spoils." I said to myself, I then opened the pouch and I saw five bits inside of it. I then put the money and my knife back in my own pouch. I then looked around and saw Ponyville.

"Time to head to town." I said to myself.

After a few minutes of running (and tripping over) I finally reached Ponyville and I stuck to the shadows to avoid her... UGHHH I shivered at the thought of being K.B.H.A (killed by heart attack) by the fourth wall breaker, Pinkie Pie.

"Yes." I heard her voice around me. I quickly looked around me to see if it was her but thankfully it was just my imagination.

'Thank god it wasn't her.' I thought to myself, then I heard a familiar western farm pony's voice, 'Heh time for some shopping.' I said to myself and headed towards her voice. And as I neared I heard somepony humming a tune, I looked around to see Fluttershy flying with a wicker basket in her hoof. As I continued to watch her I failed to notice that Applejack was starting to move away. I looked back just in time though to see her packing up her stand, 'Time to move.' I said as I approached in the shadows. As I neared her I noticed the Library where Twilight is staying. So I decided to check that out next, I used my magic to knock of two to three apples, which thankfully, she didn't notice until after I grabbed the apples.

"DAMN IT SOME VERMIN ROBBED ME." I heard her shout out loud which made me chuckle a bit.

'Sorry AJ but I need these more then you do.' I said to myself and headed towards the Library to see if Twilight and Spike was there, but they weren't there. 'So it must be before the ordeal with Nightmare Moon.' I then lockpicked the door so I could gain entrance for the night.

My opened my eyes only just to quickly close them as my eyes were being blinded by Celestia's sun. I got up, stretched and tried to stand up on my two feet but feel to the ground.

"Oh right I died and became a unicorn." I said to myself. Hmmm what to do today... I think I should pay Rarity and her gems a visit, so I walked out the Library and headed towards Carousal Boutique.

As soon as I reached I heard the familiar tune that Pinkie sings, I quickly looked around to find a place to hide but I couldn't find anything except Rarity's place. So I quickly opened the door forgetting about the bell that hung above the door.

RRRIIINNNGGG

'Crap' I thought, 'I need to hide before she finds me here.'

"Be right there." I heard her say in a sing song voice. I quickly looked around to find someplace to hide and I saw a bundle of fabric I could hide behind.

"Welcome to Carousal Boutique were everything is chiqe, unique and magne... Hello? Is anyone there" I heard her call out, "Sweetie is that you?" Now she sounded scared.

"Sorry but not her." I said throwing my voice all around the room.

"Wh-wh-who's there?" She said sounding terrified. I sneaked up behind her and using my hoof I tapped the pressure point on her neck which made her pass out. After I made sure she was out cold I stated to look around to find where she hid her gems. As I searched all over the boutique and found her gem stash. I started to pick out some but not enough to show that she was robbed, after I was finished I heard a shrill scream that could only sound like,

"AHHH! Rarity are you okay?" Sweetie Belle. I heard shirk out which probably caused panic because after that I heard the door open and then I heard another voice, one that wasn't one of the mane six.

"What's going on? I heard a scream?" The voice said.

"It's my sister. Something's not right with her." I heard Sweetie say.

"Let me take a look at her. Can you tell me your name?" The voice asked.

"Its Sweete Belle and that's my sister Rarity." I heard her say... Wait why the hell am I still here I should be gone by now. I quickly realized that somepony was coming up the stairs so I opened the window and jumped out but not before I heard the second pony's voice.

"STOP THIEF." The voice shouted at me but I know it was just a blind shout as I was already out of sight and into the shadows. I reached the Library in no time at all with no other problems and I then counted up my prizes. 'One, two, three, four and five.' One large sapphire, two medium ruby's and two small emeralds, 'Not a bad haul if I do say so my self.' I smirked and hid the gems somewhere so that I could exchange them later and went to bed.
