A new world, A new start

After a few days of sneaking and stealing I found a pawn broker that I could exchange the gems I kept stealing from Rarity's shop. Afterwards I found the Mayors house and I stole a house key from it so I don't arouse the pink menace and get a surprise party after a job and get thrown in jail for stealing. Anyway in those few days I could use my magic in a way that would benefit my line of work. I could levitate multiple objects, hide the magical aura that I produce when I levitate stuff and I could turn into shadows.

After another great job of hiding and stealing, courtesy of Rarity, I heard the sound of trumpets and that could mean only one thing. The main story has begun. I looked from my hiding spot and I saw the princesses royal guards and the chariot that both Twilight and Spike rode on in the first episode. I looked around for the two and I found them staring in awe at a pink blur that ran past them, 'Hmm if that was Pinkie then next up should be-'

"Applejack" I said to myself as we neared her farm.

"YEE HAW" I heard Applejack and so did Twilight and Spike must of heard it to as they looked over to where she was bucking apples.

"Huh lets get this over with." I heard her sigh and walk over to Applejack, "Good afternoon my name is Twilight Sparkle."

And right when she said that Applejack started to shake her hoof really fast which made me laugh lightly at Twilight's despair.

"Well howdy-do Miss.Twilight a pleasure making your acquaintance I'm Applejack. We here at Sweet Apple Acres sure do like making new friends." She said while still shaking Twilight's hoof.

'Sucks to you Twilight.' I thought to my self.

"Friends well actually I uhh-." Twilight tried to say but Applejack cut her off.

"So what can I do ya for." Applejack said with a wink and releasing Twilight from her shaking.

Twilight's hoof was still shaking until Spike put a stop to that with a laugh, she gave Spike a glare which made him stop.

"Ahem. Well I am in fact here to supervise preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration." She said proudly.

I got board of this little exchange as I've seen it all before so I started to leave until my stomach started growling, 'hmm at this time Twilight and Spike should be getting harassed by the whole apple family so that means I can get some apples without worry.' I thought and with that I went back to steal some apples, by the time I got back to the farm Twilight was already gone and the apple family were already back to preparing the food. I then went to the closes apple tree and uses my magic to take down two apples butttt-

"Hey what do ya think ya doin mister." I heard the youngest apples voice.

'Crap' I turned around and saw Apple Bloom staring at me.

"Just borrowing some apples." I said hoping she would buy it but of course she wouldn't as she shouted out.

"THIEF! APPLEJACK WE'VE GOT A THIEF." And as soon as she shouted that Applejack and Big Macintosh both came running over but I two was also running and powering up my shadow spell to get away. As I kept on running I heard somepony gaining on me, fearing that I would be caught I kicked up some dirt to blind whoever it was that was chasing me. I then cast my spell to hide myself.

"Damn it he got away again." I heard Applejack frustrated.

"Sorry AJ but he blinded me with dirt." So it was Big Macintosh who was chasing me. Not wanting to stick around I quickly left the scene.

I made it back to town just as it turned to dusk, 'Dusk then that means that Twilight must be at the Library and Pinkie's party.' So that's just where I went.. To The Library

As I reached the Library I heard the sound of music coming from her house, 'So its already started huh. Damn and hear I thought I could join in but I guess it's time.' I thought as I headed towards the place where the ceremony was being held.

After a while the place started to fill up with ponies, 'Show time.' I smirked from my hiding place up on the balcony.

"Fillies and gentlecolts, as mayor in ponyville, it is my great pleasure to the announce the beginning of the summer sun celebration!" The mayor announced.

Every pony cheered at this point if only they knew what was about to happen.

"In just a few short moments, our town will witness the magic of the sunrise and celebrate this, the longest day of the year." I zoned out after she said this as I was going through different scenarios on how I should do this. I finally settled on one as Nightmare Moon decided to make her appearance.

"Oh. My beloved subjects, its been so long since I've seen your sun loving faces..."

I started to slowly walk towards using the shadows and my shadow spell to get as close to her as I can to Steal her headpiece off of her, as I neared I heard Pinkie Pie get an apple stuffed into her mouth by Applejack. I quickly took of her headpiece and replace it with one that I made.

As I went back to my original hiding spot I heard Nightmare say,

"Does my crown no longer count as I have been imprisoned for a thousand years." She stated as she frightened Fluttershy.

"What crown?" I shouted out loud reviling myself.

"You're that thieving varmint from before!" Applejack shouted out at me.

"And who are you?" Nightmare asked.

"First you answer my question. What crown? Does it look like this?" I said as I took it out from behind me and started swinging it on my tail, "Hmm I wonder how much I could get for this crown." I said looking at it as it spun on my tail. I just barely managed to dodge a magic beam as I ducked underneath it.

"How dare touch my crown! Do you not know who I am? Did you not see the signs." She shouted out towards the ponies.

"I did and I know who you are you're the Mare in the moon. Nightmare Moon." Twilight said.

"Well someone's done there homework. But do you know whyyy she's here." I asked.

"She's here to um- she's here to uh- to um." she started to stutter.

"Let it be know that from now night will last. FOREVER." She started to manically laugh.
