The Musicans' Parents.
Chapter 2 : Fractured Lapis.
Previous Chapter"So, this is the succubus that managed to turn you into a monster?" The light blue Unicorn snapped, somehow putting dry ice into her otherwise nonchalant tone. "How could the lead cellist in multiple orchestras possibly have any interest in a lowly nightclub harlet, if I may ask?" Lapis Lazuli was the most spoiled tycoon in the world. She controlled most of the flow of bits in Equestria, and siphons what she needs in the hundreds. This was to be expected, and Vinyl's mother was bound to be worse.
"Sorry, mother." Vinyl thought she heard sincerity in her tone. "But I wasn't aware that you cared whether I had my own life or not." Nope. No sincerity at all. "Does this worry you, as you here supposed to live the life you never got the opportunity to through me? I am terribly sorry that my father met you." Vinyl turned to the sad-looking stallion in the corner with the white coat and black mane, and a cutie mark that was a single diamond lined with gold.
"Your really turning to your worthless father? It's not like I ever really cared. Tuns out he was too pathetic to even have a good daughter. You know that first hand, though, I assume." Lapis had a tongue colder than her ice blue coat. This was very quickly becoming a heated exchange of words.
"Well at least he can grasp the reality of a soul, let alone love. That isn't very profitable, so how would you care?" Octavia whipped back, worse than the most poisonous snake.
"I would care that no one could handle my wealth. I tried once to have a daughter, but she was the most ungrateful scrap of disappointment I could have hoped for. I do like being let down as much as the next rich mare, but I don't understand why I should need a reminder of my failures?" Her tone was so cold, it burnt. She was on the end of something, and the stallion in the corner knew it too. He looked up, slowly spreading a grin on his face as he thought of something. But what?
"Sounds like your daughter had a lot of sense. Too bad it has come time to disown one another." Octavia practically smashed the blue tycoon's ego to pieces.
"How dare you think you have the authority do disown me! Do you have any idea what power I have?!?! I could smash your life to bits! I control all of the stupid, ignorant shopkeepers in Equestria! They will give me anything I want blindly, and would never think to even try to stop me!"
"Smash my life like I smashed your ego?" There was a split silence of pure rage.
"GET OUT!" There was a stallion in the back of the room laughing his eyes out. "WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING ABOUT!" For once, the stallion spoke up.
"I thought you were so calm. What happened?" There was the biggest grin on his face. "I thought you were going to 'handle this bitch' I quote. I hope you like the taste of defeat. You have acquainted me with it quite well, without ever toughing it. Is it your turn now?" The blue unicorn was about ready to rip the white earth pony in half. Its a wonder she didn't scream anymore.
"You will never live this down. You will always be hunted as long as I am in power. And this goes for the low life gutter jockey as well." That was Vinyl. Oh, time to throw here from power. She saw the stallion was thinking the same thing. She saw it on his face. Time to get to work. Luckily, Lapis Lazuli stomped to the bedroom. Vinyl walked up to Octavia, the stallion doing the same.
"Daughter, not only have you just defeated you mother, you have given me a chance to take everything she owns." He held up a tape recorder. So, that's what he had up his sleeve.
"She deserves whatever comes to her." Octavia replied
"Just know, once I come into power, you have my full support. Even if i don't fully, well, support, per say, your relationship with miss Scratch." Vinyl thought it was about time to sat something.
"At least you aren't a total bitch about it." Vinyl could come to like Octavia's dad.
"So were all in agreement, I will take all the family wealth and not hunt anyone down?" Both Vinyl and Octavia nodded yes. "You two can run along and do whatever, I have some business to take, or rather, businesses." That was their Que to leave.
