Rainbow Dash swooped down and held her front hooves down onto the freshly wet green grass in this fine early morning, illuminated by the heightening sun and the sky's belt of orange fading to a lighter blue from the blackish dark violet it used to be. Taking a deep breath after gliding freely so close to the ground, Rainbow Dash closed her eyes softly and let out an excitedly pleasant "Aw yeah!!!" catching the attention of the mail mare, Derpy, who was directly in front of her.

Derpy dropped the mail and ducked in fear, but Rainbow Dash showed her she needed not to fear as her control over flying this morning was unnaturally at its peak, better now than it had ever been before. She reeled around Derpy, folding her wings to her side and rolling aside, then unfolding one to catch the wind to pull her back to her original path, when she unfolded both wings and flapped them once. The dust and dirt rose from the ground as she rose herself to the sky. The path of dirt following her but being caught by gravity as it was far too slow to follow the insanely quick velocity and majesticness of Rainbow's flight.

Derpy stared into the sky, in awe of the grace being handled so properly with the speed which Rainbow held within her grasp like a trophy. Handled with the utmost care and surely distributed to the rest of the world as perfection in its very being, Rainbow cut through a cloud and stopped right above it, looking down through the hole she had forced through it, knowing fully in her mind what she wanted to do. But she would need more speed, and she would need to make the whip of a lifetime.
