“You can’t hiber— you know. What about all the primo things we're gonna do together this winter? Building snow ponies, starting snowball fights, sipping hot cider by the fire?”

“Yawn…”

Jorge walked past the mare and her turtle, shrugging off the need to intervene.

“This is an actual event…” He thought. “I can’t screw around here…”

“Don't you wanna do those things with me?!”

He winced at the mare’s actions. “Then again… I’m pretty sure dating her has already screwed up enough. I haven’t seen the girls go after Starlight Glimmer, or anything…” With a gulp, he looked back at the mare behind him.

“Think, Rainbow Dash, think! Tank's only hibernating because it's cold, right? Well, I'd rather have him awake in the heat than asleep in the cold…” Dash gasped. “I just have to stop winter!”

“You just have to stop what?” Jorge intervened. “Did I hear that right? You’re planning on stopping winter?”

Dash blinked. “When did you get here?”

“You were so focused on Tank, you didn’t even see me pass by.”

“Really?” Dash cocked her head to the side.

“You do realize Shadow is Canadian, right?”

“What’s that have to do with anything?”

“It means he lives in the winter for 7 months a year, Dash.” Jorge facepalmed. “You take winter away from a Canadian. Shadow, specifically, then you’re never going to hear the end of it.”

“Then what about Tank?” Dash asked.

“You have Linda, and you have me.” Jorge pointed a thumb at himself. “I get he’s your pet and all. But this is something that has to happen.”

Dash looked at her turtle, who was slowly digging a hole for him to sleep in.

“But…”

“Anything Tank could do, I could do ten times better, Dash.” Jorge interrupted. “I may have just gotten out of the hospital five days ago, but I’m feeling fine!” He cleared his throat. “I, uh. I’m not sure how my leg and my arm got better so fast, though. If you ask me, I blame all the magic that’s in the air.”

“Your burns are still there, though.” Dash countered.

“They’re a lot better, actually.” Jorge shrugged. “I just have to keep using that cream the doctor told me to use, and it’ll be gone in no time.”

“Hmph.” Dash huffed. “You really think anything Tank could do, you could do better?”

“I don’t think. I know.”

Dash looked at Tank once more, whom was slowly closing his eyes. She sighed in defeat, and walked up to the turtle. “Once Winter’s over, I’m coming right back here to get you. Okay?” She asked him.

Tank slowly nodded.

“Good.” Dash smiled. She quickly turned around to face her human. “As for you.”

“Hm?”

“Before we start doing all of our awesome winter stuff, I need to get something done.” She smirked wildly.

“Oh?”

“I don’t like these. I don’t like these one bit.”

“Aw, c’mon Jorge! You look adorable! Those slippers have quite the effect on you…”

“What kind of ‘effect’?”

“The kind that makes you look 20% cooler!”

“Wearing these slippers?” Jorge groaned, pointing to his new cyan slippers, with the front end of them being a tiny version of his marefriend’s head. “How’d you even get them made so fast!?”

“Uh… I have my ways.”

“And what about you? Why aren’t you wearing these?” Jorge continued through his whining.

“Because I have something else to wear.”

“And what pray-tell would that be?”

Dash turned around, grabbing another pair of slippers from behind her. “These.”

“THE HELL ARE THOSE?”

“You’re wearing slippers with a tiny me. I’m gonna wear slippers with a tiny you!” Dash cheered with a grin.

“SERIOUSLY. THE HELL ARE THOSE?!”

Dash deadpanned. “You’re wearing those slippers, and I’m wearing these. End of discussion.”

“But…”

“No buts!” Dash interjected. “You said you could do better than Tank? Now you gotta stick to your word.”

Jorge looked at his slippers, then at hers. At first, he thought the idea to be weird, but the more he kept looking at his slippers, the more he seemed to like wearing them.

“Fine.” He crossed his arms. “But only cause you’re wearing those slippers, too.”

“Of course.”

“Y’know. I kinda wonder what Twilight and Shadow have been up to for the past few hours.”

“I know, right?” Dash looked at her boyfriend. “I saw her earlier, but then she went back into the castle for something, and never came back out.”

“Do you think maybe she got lost in there?”

“Nah.” Dash shook her head. “Twilight? Get lost in her castle? Yeah, right.”

“Then what do you think she’s doing?”

“I dunno.” Dash shrugged. “We’re gonna find out in a second anyway.”

Jorge nodded in response, letting the conversation die out on it’s own, until they finally reached the castle. He slowly opened the door, letting Dash go through first. Once she had gone in, he followed suit.

“Twilight?” Dash called out softly. “Are you in here?”

Jorge slowly closed the door behind him. “Did you ever stop to wonder that maybe she’s sleeping?”

“At this time?” Dash scoffed. “Nah. She’s doing something, and I’m gonna find out what!”

“Dash, are you sure that’s such a good idea?” Jorge asked worriedly. “I mean… What if Twilight’s doing something private.”

Dash scoffed once more. “Twilight is as innocent as Fluttershy, Jorge. She would nev—”

She froze right in her tracks, gawking in complete awe and shock at the sight she had now seen.

“Dash…?” Jorge got closer. “What’s wro—Oh… Oh…”

Jorge and Dash simply stood and watched as their friends—Twilight and Shadow—lied down on a couch, him pinning her down as they made out.

“Holy sh—” Jorge tried to speak, but was instantly cut off by Dash’s hoof.

Shadow looked up, hearing the sudden voice, “Um… It’s not what it looks like…”

Twilight raised an eyebrow, but then looked at what Shadow was looking at. “Ohh… Hi, guys…”

“Not what it looks like, huh?” Jorge asked.

“Cause it looks like you two are making out…” Dash added.

“Oh. Then, uh, it is what it looks like.” Shadow sheepishly smiled.

“How long has… this… been a thing?” Jorge asked.

“Uh… How long was it since my first date with Twi?” Shadow raised an eyebrow.

“...Five days?”

“Five days.”

“Really? Five days?”

“Five days.” Shadow nodded. “Want me to say it again?”

“N—”

“Five days.”

“Alright. Uh… Just answer me this one question. And, uh… It’s gonna be a personal one…”

“Shoot.”

“Have you uh…” Jorge cleared his throat. “...had sex with Twilight?”

“Why the hell do you wan—”

“Answer the damn question you Canadian faggot.”

“Um… Maybe…”

Jorge shrugged. “I’ll take that as a yes. Alright, one more question. You do realize you’ve basically made your relationship with Twilight official?”

“I’m pretty sure we’ve been a couple since day two, bro.”

“Did you have sex with her on day two?

“N—”

“Then shut up, faggot.” Jorge interjected. “You’ve basically put yourself one step away to marriage.”

“Did I?”

“Yeah. I didn’t think I’d have to mention this to you this soon.” Jorge sighed. “Ish, I expected. But not you.”

“I’m okay with this.”

“Are you?” Jorge raised an eyebrow. “There’s almost no turning back, now, Shadow. If you plan on turning back, you’re gonna go through hell. Or in this world’s case, tartarus.”

“I know. I never wanted to turn back after Day One.” Shadow replied. “If I wanted to turn back I would of refused the dare.”

“But I didn’t expect you to buck her!” Jorge shouted. “You made a home-run faster than Dash and I have ever did in our relationship! At least Dash was patient enough to wait a couple of weeks.”

“Speaking of that dare…” Shadow suddenly remembered. “Did you tell Ish to eat his shoe?”

“Not yet.” Jorge shook his hand in a shooing manner. “Don’t try to change the subject! Five days, and you already had sex with her…” He started rubbing his head, wiping away the headache that was slowly arising. “I’m still trying to wrap my head around that…”

“And two weeks isn’t fast, either?”

“It’s slower than five friggin days!” Jorge retorted. “How the hell did it even happen?”

“It was all Twilight’s fault!”

“It was all Shadow’s fault!”

“How the hay was it Shadow’s fault!?” Dash went wide-eyed. “Did he rape you or something!?”

“What!? No!” Twilight quickly spoke. “As you could see, I was obviously enjoying it…”

“But... Why so fast…?”

“Have you seen the book he wrote?”

“What book?” Dash tilted her head to the side.

“This one...” Twilight spoke softly, using her magic to levitate the book over to Dash.

Dash grabbed the book from the air, quickly opened it, and flipped to a random page.

“Twilight, I think you’re beautiful. I think you're beautiful because of so many things, I don't think I'll be able to fit them all into this. But I’ll try to fit a lot. So... Where to start... Well... Your eyes, they sparkle, you may not think they do, but I can see it and see the caring and loving you, your sweetness and cuteness your smile, that’s like the cherry on top of your beautifulness. It is soo sweet, and it is literally the best thing in the world. I love your smile, it literally makes my day and raises my spirits. Your smile is amazing and your eyes sparkle in the sunlight. Your hugs are amazing, and make me feel loved in this strange world that I now call home. Just seeing you and being in your presence brings me comfort. You are perfect, and your mane, is so soft and it shines in the sunlight. I see you as a very beautiful, amazing, funny, smart, caring, loving, sweet mare. You are truly amazing and beautiful, it’s hard for me to put every reason I think your beautiful into this because there are so many reasons.”

“W-Wow…” She uttered. “This is… beautiful…”

“Mhm…” Twilight hummed with a nod.

“No. Like, seriously. Wow…” Dash sighed. “I WISH MY BOYFRIEND DID SOMETHING LIKE THIS!”

“Shit. I think she just read the book.” Jorge cursed.

“Damn. When Dash shouts, she shouts.” Shadow muttered. “They’re like, two rooms away, and we still heard her scream.”

“Why do you think I want to soundproof my ro—”

“Please don’t finish that sentence.”

Jorge shrugged. “And that’s why I don’t let people sleep over.”

“Remind me never to.” Shadow shuddered at the new mental image.

“So, you really love Twilight, huh?”

“No shit, sherlock.”

“Are you sure it wasn’t just cause you were desperate to get laid already?”

“HELL NO!”

“Hmph. And then you guys talk crap about my relationship.” Jorge crossed his arms.

“In my defense.” Shadow spoke up. “I made fun of your relationship before I got into one with Twilight.”

“Speaking of being made fun of. You know Ish will never let this go, right?”

“I don’t give a fuck.”

“Of course you don’t.” Jorge rolled his eyes. “How many pages did you say were in that book, again?”

“11.”

“Why Eleven?”

“My lucky number.”

“Of course it is.”

“Are all eleven pages the same?”

“Nope.” Twilight shook her head. “They’re all different.”

“Hm.” Dash hummed softly. “I’d complain to Jorge about not doing something like this, but he already offered to take Tank’s place during hibernation.”

“Well, at least he’s proving how much he loves you.” Twilight smiled warmly.

“Yeah. I guess you’re right.” Dash smiled back. “It might not be as romantic as Shadow’s book, but it’s the thought that counts, right?”

“Mhm.” Twilight nodded.

Suddenly, Dash had a thought. “Heh.” She chortled. “The only three humans in Equestria, and we’re dating two of ‘em. I don’t know why, but I have a feeling Ish is gonna end up alone.”

“Rainbow!”

“I’m not wrong, am I?”

“W-Well… You never know.”

“We’re talking about Ishtaba, Twilight.” Dash pointed out. “I don’t see how anypony would fall in love with him.”

“HEY FAGGOTS!”

“Did you hear that?” Twilight’s ear twitched at the sudden shouting.

“Hear what?” Dash questioned.

“I’M FUCKING TIRED OF HIDING FROM TIC-TAC!”

That.” Twilight groaned.

“Yeah, sounded like Ish.”

“Exactly…”

“...And ever since then, I’ve been avoiding Tic-Tac.”

“Lyra.” Jorge corrected.

“I don’t give a fuck what her name is…” Ish rolled his eyes, then shifted his view to Twilight. “So, could you please help me? I wouldn’t be asking for help unless I was desperate.”

“Hm. I think I have just the spell.” Twilight smirked. “Shadow, get the spellbook.”

Shadow nodded, walking off to a nearby bookstand, and began flipping through the pages.

“Are we using that spell?”

“Mhm.” Twilight nodded. “Now’s a better time than never.”

“Uh… What spell are we talking about, exactly?” Ish went wide-eyed. “I wanna make sure what you guys are doing so I can change my mind…”

Shadow brought the book to Twilight, already opened up to the correct page. “Here ya go, Twi.”

Twilight smiled softly, reading through the book in his grasp. After she read and understood what she needed to do, her horn began to glow in her trademark purple aura. She pointed her horn directly at Ish, and stood still for a short moment, waiting for her magic to build up.

Seconds later, a beam shot straight at Ish. As it came into contact, the effects of the spell took immediate effect. A large, blinding light surrounded Ish, preventing not only himself from seeing what was going on, but preventing everyone else from being able to see him.

The light slowly dimmed, and everyone gawked in awe at Ish’s new form He was the most radiant glow of white, his eyes were framed by large black circles. Coincidently, his ears were practically black, as where all his legs and the areas surrounding the front two, and his cutie mark looked like a strange looking face.

“Hm.” Twilight placed a thinking hoof on her chin, quickly levitating a paper and quill.

“Subject appears to be fine after use of the transformation spell. Going from Human to stallion, subject appears to have completely transformed, as well as a cutie mark arrived with his new form.” Twilight spoke as she wrote. “While the spell supposedly gives the subject a basic knowledge of their new form, I have yet to see if this is true or false.”

“Huh?” Ish raised an eyebrow, shifting his vision to Jorge. “Holy fuck. Why is Jorge so fuckin’ tall?”

“You’re a pony, Ish.” Shadow rolled his eyes. “Did you not hear Twilight talking to herself?”

“I wasn’t paying attention…” Ish admitted. “Was I supposed to?”

Shadow sighed. “Knowing you, I’m not surprised…”

“So this is what’d you look like as a pony…” Jorge kneeled over to get a better look. “To be honest, I thought you’d look a little more… asian.”

“That’s racist.” Ish blankly stated..

As Ish was given a mirror, he looked at himself, getting a look at his new body, until he noticed the face tattooed to his flank.

“The fuck is this!?”

“That represents what your destiny is.” Shadow explained. “From the looks of it, your destiny is to be a troll..”

“Damn right it is.” Ish smirked. “And now that I’m a pony… I can go tell Lyra that ‘Ishtaba’ is dead. And then I’m coming back here to get myself turned back.”

“But… if you turn yourself back… won’t it be obvious that you’re not dead?” Twilight cocked her head to the side.

“Nah.” Ish shook his head. “I got this.” He quickly ran out the castle, somehow knowing how to move around in his new form.

Twilight immediately looked back to her notes. “It appears the subject knows how to walk, as well as run in his new form. The spell looks like it’s a complete success.”

“Of course it's a complete success, I finished it.” Shadow replied to the note taking mare.

“Wait, so, you tested the spell on Ish without knowing if it would work?” Dash raised an eyebrow.

“Well, we weren’t gonna test it on Jorge, were we?” Shadow asked. “And I sure as hell wasn’t going to risk myself.”

“...Good point.” Dash chortled.

“Speaking of which, now that we know it works, Twi.” Shadow looked at the alicorn. “Zap me.”

“Eh?” Twilight jerked her head to face the human.

“Zap me.” Shadow repeated flatly. “If I’m gonna be stuck here, I might as well live like the rest of the population.”

“Uh… Alright.” Twilight replied hesitantly, “You sure you want to do this…?”

“Yeah, I’m sure, Twi.”

“Alright…”

“Ish is… dead…?”

“Yeah, right before he died, he, uh… He told me that if he did die, that I should tell you that even though he spent only a few days with you, he loved you with all his heart.” Ish lied. “And if you saw another human who was nearly identical to him in every way, even having the same friends. It’s not him.”

“Huh?”

“Yeah, see, uh. From what I remember… Humans look nearly identical to each other, sometimes you’ll find five people who look and sound exactly the same. Some of them even having the same name.” Ish somehow continued to make up more lies. “He told me that his friends knew someone who had the same name and everything identical to him.” He scratched the back of his head. “It’s… really easy to lose your identity since there’s so many people who like alike.”

“I see…” Lyra frowned. “Alright then, uh… thanks for uh… telling me…”

Before Ish could say another word, the door closed in front of him, and he could very clearly hear the sounds of crying and sobbing coming from inside the house.

Shrugging, Ish simply turned around, and made his way back to the castle.

The light had just faded as the alicorn, prismatic pegasus and human stood gawking at the newly transformed Shadow. He was a dark greyish stallion pegasus of a slightly stockier build than ish, with multiple shades of purple in his long smooth flowing mane and shorter but just as smooth tail with dark purple eyes, and his cutie mark was a black and purple flame.

“Wow…” Twilight muttered.

“H-How does it feel…?” Jorge asked. “...Being a pony?”

“Eh, It feels… Different... That’s for sure.”

“Hey, he’s a pegasus!” Dash cheered, pointing at his new wings. “Sweet!”

“Yes, but he’s my pegasus.” Twilight replied.

“Pfft.” Dash scoffed. “I don’t care. I got this idiot.”

Jorge simply crossed his arms, and grumbled something incoherent.

“What was that?” Dash looked up at the only human left in the room.

“Huh? Nothing. Love you.” Jorge smiled innocently.

“Thought so.”

From the corner of his eye, Jorge noticed something starting to poke out of pony-Shadow’s head.

Jorge turned his head completely, now seeing the object grow from the top of his head. “The hell is that…?”

Twilight looked back at the stallion as well, noticing something pointy quickly growing from the top of his head, the more it grew, the more she could fully identify what exactly it was.

“That’s… unexpected…” She muttered.

“And by ‘unexpected’, you mean you had absolutely no idea Shadow was gonna be an alicorn by using this spell?” Jorge raised an eyebrow.

“Well it’s a one-in-three chance for any pony form, really.” Twilight explained. “Only way to be an alicorn… uh, I’m not sure, actually. I guess either be born an alicorn or turned into one by Celestia.”

“Right, forgot you were turned into one.” Jorge thought aloud. “So then… what’s going on here?”

Shadow simply raised an eyebrow, and slowly reached a hoof at the growing appendage.

“Wait, stop!” Twilight shouted, spooking the stallion.

As soon as it reached it’s peak of growth, it stopped. Everyone was suddenly curious at the sight before them. Twilight turned her head back to grab her quill and notepad with her magic, only for Jorge to nudge her slightly. She looked back, and saw the stallion’s horn beginning to twitch ever-so-slightly.

Then, in a matter of seconds, the horn quickly shrunk back into his head, continuing until it no longer existed.

“Uh…” Jorge uttered. “So, that happened…”

“Hm.” Twilight hummed. “Might have just been a side-effect from the spell, perhaps his body didn’t handle his new form as well as Ishtaba’s… Shadow, want to try to fly and see if the spell worked correctly?”

As Shadow slowly unfolded his new wings he thought aloud. “I should know how to do this, so… Guess I can give it a try.” He slowly began moving his wings up and down in a flapping motion, adjusting to them. Then quickly jumped up, and flapped them faster, lifting himself off the ground, and successfully keeping himself in the air.

Twilight levitated her quill and another piece of paper. She began speaking aloud as she wrote once more. “After using the spell once more, the latest human subject also appears to have successfully transformed, with a minor side effect. It’s possible that his body attempted to reject his new form, as a horn quickly grew and shrank into non-existence. However, much like with Ishtaba, Shadow appears to have the the basic knowledge required to use his new body correctly. He has proved this by instead of walking, but flying, meaning if the spell was used on someone else, and the result ended up being a unicorn. That subject, in theory, should know how to use basic magic.”

“So, Jorge.” Dash spoke up. “Now that everyone’s going pony, what about you?”

“Nah.” Jorge shook his head. “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. I like having my hands.”

Dash simply rolled her eyes.

“Hey uh, Dash.” Shadow spoke softly.

“Hm?” Dash looked up at the new pegasus.

“I uh, may need some flying lessons…”

“But you already know how to fly. Right?”

“Yeah but, I mean ‘Dash style flying’ lessons.”

“Ahh.” Dash smirked. “So you wanna fly like me, eh?” She chuckled softly. “Alright, sure. I’ve always wanted a protege...”

“What about Scootaloo?” Jorge raised an eyebrow.

“Scoots is like a sister to me.” Dash shrugged. “While I am teaching her everything I know, it’s not the same as teaching someone else.”

“I see…”

“By the way, Shadow.” Dash thought of something. “While you are my friend and all, it’s still going to cost you for flying lessons so advanced.”

“I’ll soundproof your room so no one can hear you screaming at night.”

Dash’s face immediately turned a bright shade of red, as well as her eyes going completely wide-eyed. Jorge, on the other hand, forced a cough, and looked at the flushed mare as she stood still.

“Dash?” Jorge kneeled over to the mare. “You alright?”

“Uh…Y-Yeah.” Dash shook her head, snapping out of her shocked state. “Yeah, yeah. I’m fine. That, just, uh, surprised me…”

“So, is it a deal, then?” Shadow asked.

“H-How do you plan on soundproofing our room, anyway?” Jorge thought aloud.

“Just because I’m a stallion now doesn’t mean I don’t remember things from my human days.”

“You do realize there’s probably a spell that sound proofs things, right?”

“Maybe…”

Dash slowly shrugged it off, and walked up to the flying stallion, who landed on the ground as she made her way to him. “Then. It looks like you got yourself a deal, Shadow.” She shook his hoof.

Jorge shrugged at a new thought. “I’m gonna have the hardest time adjusting to Shadow being a pony…”
