"So Jorge, you know that party Pinkie is having tonight?" Shadow spoke.

“Eh, Dash said she was gonna go, but I’m not really a party person…” Jorge shrugged.

"Well, I was going to go with Twi to the party..."

“Okay.. and?

"Well... Want to make it like a double date or something?"

“It’s just a party to celebrate having been only one year since you and Ish arrived.” Jorge rolled his eyes. “Pinkie’ll throw a party for just about anything, really. Oh, someone new moving to Ponyville? Let’s partayyyyy!” He scoffed. “After a while, it gets pretty annoying. For me, at least.”

"I think you should take Dash to the party." Shadow retorted, "Not just let her go on her own. I think she would appreciate you going with her."

“You’re not wrong there…” Jorge sighed. “Dash has started to get a little bit pissed at me…”

"Why's that?"

“Remember how you and Ish turned pony? Well, just you, Ish turned back, but, still.”

"Yeah I remember, how could I not?"

“Well. At first, Dash was chill about it. But over time, she’s been growing impatient.” Jorge rolled his eyes again. “You know how she is. Likes to be fast with nearly everything. Relationships included.”

"Yeah, I know. She was damn fast with those flying lessons, but damn am I a fast flyer now..."

Jorge chuckled. “Yeah, well. Every now and then she’s been throwing hints at me. About marriage.” He scratched the back of his neck. “I figured out why she wanted me to turn pony, too.”

“Speaking of marriage… I've been thinking about that too..." Shadow scratched the back of his neck also.

“Oh?” Jorge raised an eyebrow. “Twilight’s been bugging you, too?”

"Well, keep this quiet. For now."

“Keep what quiet?”

"The whole ‘marriage’ thing..."

“Oh.” Jorge nodded. “Yeah. I haven’t planned anything yet for Dashie, anyway. But I’ve been catching a lot of those hints more and more often. It’s gonna happen soon, I just don’t know when, or how…”

"Yeah. So about the party... You’re gonna go now. Right?"

“If I wanna keep her distracted from the whole marriage thing, yeah.” Jorge reluctantly nodded. “Did you know she wants to start a family, later on?”

"Yeah, actually. Twilight mentioned it to me a long time ago."

Jorge lowered his head, resting his hands on his hair. “I get that she wants to start a family, and the only way to do it is to use the spell on me, but…” He began pulling on it. “Damn. I don’t think I could see myself as a dad. Like, the hell, man?”

"You'll figure out what you can and cannot see as it happens, bro." Shadow replied as he reached up and patted his friend’s back.

Jorge looked up to look at his friend, which only caused him to chuckle at the sight. “Y’know, I still can’t get over the fact you’re a pony, now…”

"Well... I only did it because I wanted to fit in more and be able to fly. Well... That and I thought it would make Twilight happy too."

“To be fair, you didn’t know whether you’d end up as a pegasus or not. It’s kinda random chance...”

"True..." Shadow agreed, “But had a gut feeling I’d be a pegasus, anyway.”

“Really?” Jorge raised an eyebrow, placing a thinking hand on his chin. “I wonder if that had any effect on the spell…”

“That and I was kinda hoping to be a pegasus too. So I could catch Dash if you ever needed her for something.” Shadow replied while smiling.

“I could’ve always asked Fluttershy… Or even Twilight. Since, y’know, they both have wings…”

“Yeah, but can either of them fly as fast as Dash?”

You can’t.” Jorge crossed his arms. “You may know her tricks and crap. And you may have learned how to fly better. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re as fast as she is…”

“Wanna make this a bet, then?”

“Sure. If I win. Ish eats his shoe. If you win. Ish eats his shoe.” Jorge grinned wildly.

“Shit. We have been using Ish as the one who does all the dumb shit for bets the past year, haven’t we?” Shadow asked curiously.

“Yep.” Jorge nodded. “I think he’s used to it already.”

“Yep, probably. Well, should we go pick up Dash and Twi and head to the party then?” Shadow asked glancing at a clock.

“I guess so.” Jorge replied.

“So… Jorge coming with you to the party?” queried Twilight.

“Nah.” Dash shook her head. “I asked him if he wanted to, but he said no.”

"Oh... Well, Shadow should be here soon. He's 'taking' me to the party."

“What do you mean ‘taking’ you?” Dash cocked her head. “Why did you say it like that?”

"As in like a date." Twilight replied. "He thought it would be a good place to take me on a date. And well... For him to learn how to dance as a pony."

“Oh?” Dash raised an eyebrow. “Good for you, Twilight!” She sighed softly. “If only Jorge would take the hint, already…”

"I think he's seen the hints Dash, maybe he's just not ready yet. Or... scared..." Twilight blinked.

“Scared of what, Twilight?” Dash raised her voice. “We’ve been together for two years, now! What could he possibly be scared of?”

Twilight glared at the frustrated mare, raising an eyebrow.

“...What?”

Twilight rolled her eyes. “Don’t you think maybe he’s just not ready? I mean, who knows what could be going on in that man’s mind.” She sighed softly. “Maybe he’s scared that things will be different once you two are married.”

“Why would he think that?”

“Dash, you want him to make a commitment.” Twilight reminded her. “You want to start a family, for Celestia’s sake! Don’t you think you’re scaring him off by trying to rush him?”

“N-No…” Dash hesitantly shook her head. “I’m not scaring him off!”

“Then stop trying to rush him!” Twilight demanded. “He’s proven to you time and time again that he’s not gonna leave you. So why are you in such a rush to get married?”

“C-Cause…” Dash whimpered. “Lately, If I don’t push him, he’ll never do it on his own… He always so shy about everything, and I have to be the one to snap him out of it.”

“But he should be a little more comfortable with it later on, just give him time and patien—”

"Twily... You ready?" Shadow spoke softly, walking through the door with his new tuxedo. "Oh. Hey Dash."

“‘Twily’?” Dash chortled.

“What? It’s Shadow’s little nickname for me…” Twilight huffed. “I thought it was cute.”

“It is. I just wasn’t expecting ‘Twily’”

“Like ‘Dashie’ isn’t the same?”

“...Point taken.”

"Oh... Um, there is someone in the hall who wants to talk to you, Dash." Shadow spoke up.

“Huh?” Dash turned her head to the hall, finding no one in sight. She looked back at Shadow, who simply nodded, signaling her to go see who it was. Even though, deep down, she had a small feeling of who it could’ve been.

Dash slowly walked off, leaving Shadow and Twilight alone by the exit.

“...You know, Twilight. You look amazing in that dress.” Shadow smirked.

“Really?” Twilight looked at the dress she wore. “It’s my old dress I wore back a few years ago in the Grand Galloping Gala.”

“Still looks amazing on you, though...”

Meanwhile, as Dash made her venture into the hallway, she began walking straight ahead, looking around for the supposed someone who wanted to talk to her, yet, no avail.

“I didn’t know you were going in your old Gala dress…”

Dash immediately jumped, turning around to find the familiar human.

“Jorge?” She sighed a breath of relief. “You scared the crap out of me… What are you doing over here, anyway?”

Jorge simply waved his hands up and down, getting Rainbow to notice the tuxedo he was wearing. “I wanted to surprise you.” He smiled softly, walking up to the prismatic mare. “I’m not much of a party person… But, I figured I’d go with you, anyway…”

“R-Really?” Dash gawked in awe, blushing slightly at the human’s actions.

As soon as he got close enough, he kneeled over, now able to see her face-to-face. “Mhm.” He hummed softly, softly placing his hand on her chin, holding her head up. “I haven’t really been the boyfriend I should have been these past several months… So I’m gonna make up for that.”

“Wha—” Dash was immediately cut off, as her human pressed his lips against hers. Her face slowly was painted in a bright shade of red, her wings quickly unraveled open stiff. Not wanting to let him do all the work, she shut her eyes, and pushed back with everything she had, throwing her hooves around his neck. While her boyfriend simply continued with his task, as well as wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

Twilight poked her head through the hallway. “Dash, we’re gonna miss th—Oh...”

“What?” Shadow poked his head, as well. “What’s going o—” Shadow stopped himself from talking any further, not wanting to interrupt the two. “GG, Jorge…” He muttered to himself.

The two lovers slowly pulled back, still holding each other. They open their eyes, and looked at the other’s eyes, simply mesmerized by their significant other.

Soon enough, Jorge was the one to speak up, first. “You know I love you, right?”

“Mhm.” Dash hummed with a nod. “You never stop telling me…”

“Would you like me to stop?”

“No.” Dash tightened her grip on him. “Don’t ever stop being my sappy little human. Alright?”

“Of course, Dashie.” Jorge leaned in for a quick peck. “For you, I’ll do anything.”

Shadow and Twilight immediately pulled their heads away from the hall, returning back to the door.

Dash giggled. “Well, right now, we need to go to the party.”

“Then, what are we waiting for?”

“Twilight! Shadie!” Pinkie cheered. “It’s about time you got here! After all, it is Ishie and Shadie’s party!”

Shadow simply sighed at his nickname, despite having been a year since she started calling him that. “Why is it I have a nickname, and Twilight doesn’t?”

“It fits better on you, Shadie!”

“‘Course it does…”

“Y’know, Pinkie…” Twilight spoke up. “I think this is the first time you’ve thrown a party so… formal.”

“I know, right!?” Pinkie bounced with glee. “A certain somepony asked me to throw the party formal style, ‘cause he had the perfect outfit for the occasion! So I decided, why not?”

“A certain somepony, eh?” Shadow thought aloud. “And I assume you won’t be telling us who this certain somepony is?”

“Nope!” Pinkie replied sharply. “He said he wanted to keep it a surprise!”

“Well, it’s a ‘he’, so that sums it up to half of Ponyville’s population.” Shadow thought. “I guess we’ll find out whenever he arrives, if he hasn’t already.”

Shortly after Shadow and Twilight continued inside, Dash and Jorge followed suit, only to be interrupted by Pinkie’s greeting.

“Dashie! And…” At the sight of the human, she gasped. “Jorgie! I thought you weren’t gonna make it!”

“Dammit.” Jorge muttered under his breath. “You always find some way of making some nickname out of anyone’s name, don’t you, Pinkie?”

“You know it!” Pinkie giggled. “It fits so well on you, Jorgie!”

“Not surprised.” Jorge rolled his eyes. “Better than Goddy, I guess...”

“That’s the spirit!” Pinkie beamed, running right behind the duo, pushing them further inside. “Now get on over there, and enjoy the party!”

Jorge looked at his marefriend. “Geez. I show up at one of her parties for once and then she literally forces me inside right before I have the chance to leave.”

Dash chuckled. “It’s not very often that you show up at a party, Jorgie.”

Jorge scratched the back of his head. “Fair enough...”

Suddenly, the doors were thrown open. Everypony and Jorge jerked their heads, only able to see a shadowy figure of a human. At the sight of the figure, the majority of the ponies immediately shrugged, and continued what they were doing, and others simply continued to stare.

“WHAT’S UP BITCHEEEEEEEEES?” Ish shouted, startling everypony in the party. He stepped into the area with a fabulous attitude, wearing only a collared shirt and shorts.

“God dammit.” Shadow sighed. “Of course Ish would pull off something this stupid…”

“Even I don’t pull off that level of stupid anymore!” Jorge added, crossing his arms.

"What!? But these are my best fancy clothes!" replied Ish as he crossed his arms.

"What's with all this formality Ish?" Shadow queried, seeming surprised.

"Well, I figured seeing this is our party, I figured we should make it all classy and shit. Just like me!"

You? Classy?” Jorge joined in. “No offence, Ish. But you’re anything but fancy…”

Suddenly, Ish started searching for something in his pockets. “Oh no.”

“What?” Shadow raised an eyebrow. “What’d you lose now?”

“My fucks.” Ish bluntly replied. “They’ve gone missing…”

Jorge scoffed, rolling his eyes as he returned to focusing on the party.

“Are you sure you don’t have… fancier clothes?” Shadow cocked his head. “Cause, uh. Those look more like casual clothes.”

“Well, ‘Marshmellow’ made this piece of shit tuxed—”

“And you couldn’t have worn that?” Shadow interrupted.

“Hell no.” Ish shook his head. “Do you know how uncomfortable that shit was?”

“I’m wearing one.” Jorge added, never bothering to turn around as he continued to watch the party. “Perfectly fine for me.”

“No one cares Jorge.” Ish retorted.

Jorge shrugged. “Well, Pinkie’s about to speak up in a about a minute.”

“You wanna go around this party looking like a complete idiot?” Shadow raised an eyebrow. “Be my guest, I’m not in the mood to be dealing with your idiocy. Especially in the middle of our party.”

Ish laughed softly at the ‘insult’ that was thrown at him. “It’s impossible for me to look like an idiot, Shadow.” He crossed his arms. “In case you’ve forgotten, I’m fucking fabulous.”

"Fucking fabulous at being a idiot." Shadow snickered.

“Fuck you too.” Ish grumbled.

“Now that everypony’s here…” Pinkie spoke up. “I’d just like to remind everypony that it’s been a whole year since Shadie and Ishie came to Ponyville! They’ve been such good friends, that I thought I’d give them their own special party, just like Goddy’s party last year!”

“Haven’t we already gone over my name not being ‘Shadie’?” Shadow raised an eyebrow. “Also… ‘Goddy’? When the fuck did he change his name back to Godson?”

“I didn’t?” Jorge tilted his head to the side. “I guess there’s still ponies who know me as Godson…” He scratched the back of his neck. “I mean… it’s been a year… I would’ve thought that everyone got the whole ‘Jorge’ news…”

“So before we continue with the party, give ‘em a round of applause!” Pinkie cheered, joining the crowd as they softly stomped on the floor.

“You always wanted to know how ponies clap, Ish?” Jorge looked to the asian. “There you go.”

“The fuck?” Ish gawked at the sight before him. “Why the fuck are they stomping on the ground? That’s not clap—”

Suddenly, Ish was given a blow to the head, knocking him out. Everypony stopped with wide-eyes to see the asian fall down to the floor, landing face first. They then look up to Shadow, standing on his rear legs with his right foreleg extended.

Shadow blinked. "What? He was getting on my nerves."

And then, at the sight of knowing it was a friend who knocked him out, and knowing it was Ishtaba who was knocked out. Everypony simply shrugged, and returned to what they were originally doing.

“Well… That just happened.” Jorge blinked, pausing for a moment as he tried to find a way to end the now awkward moment. “So uh…” He looked down to the unconscious asian. “What do we do with him?”

“Kill it with fire?” Dash cut in, only for the human and stallion to narrow their eyes at the mare. “...Kidding. Obviously.”

“I say we just drag him out of the place. Maybe lock him in one of the rooms back in the castle until the party’s over...” Shadow prepared to grab the body. “Sound good?”

“Nah. He’d destroy whatever’s in that room just to get out.” Jorge shook his head. “Just throw him in some bushes or something, when he wakes up and comes back before the party’s over, we’ll just knock him out again.”

"Twilight could cast a protection spell. Buuut... I like the idea of knocking him out multiple times."

“Speaking of Twilight…” Jorge muttered. “Incoming, 6 o’clock.”

Shadow immediately turned around, finding an angry Twilight trotting her way to him.

“Twily…!” He smiled sheepishly. “What’s the matter? You look ups—”

“What kind of friend knocks out another friend like that?” Twilight asked, her eyes narrowing slightly as she finally got face-to-face with the stallion, and began staring at his eyes.

Seconds later, still looking at Shadow’s eyes, she spoke. “Jorge. Put your hand down.”

Dash looked up at her boyfriend, noticing his arm was raised. The human quickly reacted, however, and slowly brought his hand back down.

“To be fair, Twilight… It’s Ishtaba.” Shadow pointed out. “Someone was bound to knock him out… It just… uh… happened to be me…”

“He’s still your friend, Shadow!” Twilight countered. “Just because it’s Ishtaba doesn’t mean—" Twilight was suddenly cut off as Shadow just full out kissed her.

"I'm sorry I knocked him out, but he was disrupting everyone."

Twilight sighed softly. “Even so, you could’ve done something other than…Jorge? What are you doing?”

Jorge looked up at the alicorn. “I’m dragging Ish’s body… What does it look like I’m doing?”

Twilight shook her head, returning back to the topic. “Look, my point is, friends don’t knock each other out. How’d you like it if Rainbow Dash knocked you out?”

“I’d be fine with it… she wouldn't do so without a valid reason."

“Twilight...” Jorge spoke up from the entrance of the building, still dragging Ish by his feet. “I get you’re the Princess of Friendship and all, but we’ve known Ish way before the three of us fell in Equestria. He’s been asking for this for five years, now.”

“I…” Twilight tried to speak, though found no words to counter nor reply with. “...Fair enough. I guess.”

Jorge nudged his head in Shadow’s direction. “Yo, Canada-fag. Help me carry Ish’s body out of here.”

Shadow nodded, walking off in the human’s direction.

Meanwhile, Twilight watched as the two carried the asian out of the building. She laughed softly at their efforts of trying to ditch the obnoxious human. Remembering all the times she tried to make him go away.

Then, her laughter increased as she watched through the glass doors as the two threw Ish into a nearby bush.
