Frieza the displaced alien
Chapter 2
Previous ChapterNext ChapterAs the ponies left the room of the decrepit castle, Celestia and myself lagged behind to keep up with the still very much weakened form of Luna. I made sure to keep perfect pace next to her as occasionally she would lean herself against me for physical and perhaps emotional support. Seeing as though I had interrupted what was supposed to be a tear filled reunion I could guess that she may have not been prepared to face her sister anymore and was instead using me, the first thing to show her kindness, for a pillar for support in this new alien world she has once called home. Folding my arms behind my back I was allowed to properly drink in my surroundings in this quiet moment. It was rather interesting to note the soft plushness of Luna's fur. Her coat actually reminded me of my Russian Blue cat. I also found the earthen smell of the ancient forest to be quite relaxing. This was most defiantly going to be a place I would come to often.
As the party and myself left the decaying marvel of the old castle I stopped the group and waved at them lazily in order to get them to follow me. With a few shrugs they where following me around the side of the castle to where my hover chair awaited me. Within the grass near my chair a small glint caught my line of sight. Walking over I placed my foot over it to hide the scrap of metal from the others eyes. Twilight unsurprisingly was the first to approach my vessel and look it over.
"Careful now, she bites."
The purple unicorn immediately began to skitter back and I held a finger to my mouth as I gave a small chuckle.
"I'm joking, it's actually a bit of technology that I use to get around in comfort."
Recovering from my joke Twilight was all over it again.
"How do you 'get around' with a chair that's planted on the ground? Is it possible that you've enchanted it to float at your whim? I've read about how Starswirl had done something similar for his private study but that can't be the case here because I can sense no magical output from this thing."
I smirked and allowed my tail to coil around behind me mischievously. Without answering her I simply hopped into the machine and ignited my ki. Responding immediately to its master the legs that supported the hover chair retracted into the machine and it floated mid air. As I sat I glanced down making sure I had indeed picked up the scrap of metal and loosed another smirk. Twilight was slack jawed as she began to scrutinize more furiously over it.
"What was that blast of energy? It certainly wasn't magic but it felt similar."
I chuckled as her face scrunched up and the other ponies looked about ready to pass out. Only Celestia continued to look on calmly and with a single eyebrow raised.
"That my dear was ki. It's the manifestation of spiritual, mental, and physical energy in a being. And this is my hover chair, an advanced piece of technology my empire has made."
"How is all of this possible? No such technology exists in our country or even planet as of yet! And what do you mean by Empire? You had mentioned an Acros before but no such empire exists."
"Ah that's because I don't hail from your planet." Raising my finger to the sky to further hammer in my point I gave a grin. "I come from the stars beyond. Acros is the name of my home planet you see, and my empire? I purchase and sell whole planets just as one buys and sells homes for other races."
That one got everyone's head to roll, even Celestia's. I was almost afraid her jaw would break off if it dropped any further. Since her student was too stunned to speak she walked up to me with a small tilt of her head when she recovered.
"Then it is our great pleasure to welcome you to our planet Lord Frieza. I must however ask you state your intentions with it."
Resting my arms on my chair I let my tail slap the side of it once as I chuckled before lacing my fingers in front of my face and going into a sort of business mode. "While your planet is certainly beautiful and would fetch a wondrous price Princess, I am not here for that. In fact I have no recollection as to how o got here at all, so I would instead like to consider this a vacation of sorts."
After breathing a sigh of relief the princess tilted her head to the side a bit and inquired further. "But what about your empire? Will you not be missed or is it self sustaining and you are more of a royal figure head?"
"You have lovely instincts. While I will be sorely missed my empire is designed to run in my absence, but rebellions will no doubt crop up in my absence, but that is only hypothetical as my brother will no doubt rule over once he notices I am gone, and if not Father will certainly take control back and perhaps give it to my son Kuriza once he matures."
Celestia nodded her head slowly taking in the chunk of exposition I had delivered to her. "Well then it is my honor and pleasure to invite you to the city of Canterlot to further discuss what your presence here means."
I gave a tilt of my head and unbeknownst to them slid the scrap of Nightmare's armor under my own. "I must admit dinner would be quite lovely." However before we could progress further a shadow fell over us. Looking up we were greeted to the sight of a royal chariot descending to greet us. One of the drivers, an exasperated guard, unhooked himself the moment he landed and rushed up to Princess Celestia in a steep bow.
"My Princess! We where all searching for you after squad one was taken out by Nightmare Moon! Where have you been?"
Celestia merely smiled and patted the guard's head. "Worry not my little pony I am well and I have good news to share with you so lets make haste to Ponyville and then Canterlot shall we?"
"Er, yes my Princess." The stallion hooked himself back up to the chariot and allowed Celestia to board as well as Luna despite giving her a wary glance or two. As the chariot began to pull forward the elements of harmony in their excitement rushed forward but I kept pace with the chariot keeping on Luna's side. The more I could cement myself into her mind the better. Once we cleared the tree line the chariot was swarmed with ponies. Luna and Celestia disembarked and where showered with praise and love, and there I was keeping next to Luna making sure she wasn't overwhelmed. As Celestia walked off to speak with her student most of the ponies' attention was taken off of Luna and myself as they formed a ring around the princess, her student and her friends. I watched on as it played out exactly like the episode ending had. It took a few more minutes however for the Princess to take her leave and get on the chariot with Luna. Once they where moving at a decent clip they started taking to the air. Leaning myself forward my chair kept pace with them. Glancing over Celestia observed my chair.
"I must admit technology like that is impressive. It must make the universe so convenient."
I gave a small chuckle. "Yes it does, but ethics and hard work slip in exchange for comfort."
"Oh I see, also forgive me for being so blunt but what is it you eat? Can't have a dissatisfied guest after all."
"My species is omnivorous in nature, though I am prone to having a sweet tooth every once in a while."
"I'll have the chefs prepare something special for dessert then, I don't brag often but you have not lived until you have had Equestrian cake."
Before I could respond there was a snort from the chariot and not from Celestia. Both she and I looked over to Luna who was wearing a scrunched muzzle and holding in laughter. After that the rest of the ride was in a rather comfortable silence. It didn't take long to reach the grand city bolted to the mountain. But instead of landing near the city gate or anything to that extent we made a bee line for the courtyard of the palace itself. Once landed I hopped out of my chair and stretched a bit from being cooped up. The guards left us and the Princess' and myself walked inside and headed toward what I assumed would be the dining hall. Glancing around I was able to admire the craft of the castle. But the sight seeing was short lived as we had come across our destination. It was a rather simple hall, chandeliers, pristine white table cloths, ornate wooden chairs, the expected things of an over priced dining hall. The chair at the head was pulled out by a gold aura and I took my seat. Both alicorns took their seats on either side of me.
"I get the head? My my it must really be a special occasion eh?"
Celestia repressed a giggle with her hoof. "Only the important guests get the head of the table."
Before long the doors to the hall opened and what I can only assume was a butler came out with three different plates. A small salad was placed in front of Celestia, a salad and curiously enough a pair of eggs was placed in front of Luna, and of course a well cooked steak sided with potatoes and broccoli was placed in front of me. We ate our meals in silence and when we were done I dabbed my mouth with a napkin.
"I must admit that was quite wonderful."
"Yes my chefs are quite skilled. It helps whenever you have an ambassador that is purely carnivorous. But I am afraid I must ask what you plan on doing for your stay here in Equestria."
"Ah that's an interesting inquiry. I am going to assume that my stay is indefinite for now and I would like to ask if I have your permission to restore the old castle."
I was fairly certain that Celestia's eyebrows couldn't have shot up any faster. "Well that is unexpected but I don't see why not. It would be nice to see it returned to its former glory. Any objections Luna?"
It appeared as if a shadow had fallen over the younger alicorn's face as she hid behind her mane. "We have none. Now if you'll excuse us we have our nightly duties to tend to." The smaller alicorn got up and wandered off into the castle. Celestia appeared as if she wanted to follow but stopped herself.
"Well I think your sister has the right idea. I do hope you can lend me a room for the night."
That got Celestia out of her apparent trance. "Oh yes of course." She then called over a servant who then took me to my chambers in one of the towers of the castle, but on my way to my room we had passed by a large blue set of doors, I took a mental note of it for when I wanted to speak to the princess of the night again before continuing onward. I dismissed the maid and walked into the room. It was rather simple. A bed pressed against the wall with a window over it, a nightstand next to the bed with a lamp, a book shelf opposite of the bead and along the same wall a door to what I can only assume was the bathroom. Reaching under my armor I pulled out the scrap of cyan armor and twirled it round between my ebony fingernails. Poor thing probably didn't have the strength to speak yet. I placed the scrap onto the night stand and removed my armor placing that onto the bed as well as my scouter. I then walked into the bathroom the cool tile floor chilling my feet a bit. Once again it was rather simple. Toilet on the far wall sink on one side and shower and tub on the other. Looking into the mirror I admired my new body. The sensations from it where both alien and familiar. With that I turned to the shower and proceeded to do my thing. After stepping back out the air was nice and steamy and as such was rather relaxing. I walked out of the bathroom toweling myself off and flopped onto the bed after I moved my scouter and armor. Lacing my fingers together onto my chest I let my eyes drift close. Now would be the time I would find out if this was really a dream or not. If so it was nice it was so lucid but if not well I would have more fun in the future it seemed.
I awoke once more in what appeared to be a field of flowers. I stood up looking around. My attention was caught by a small hill with a single flower standing proud on top. Walking up to it I knelt down investigating it. It was a cyan blue laced with a deeper version of the same color. However as I studied it, it wilted and the cyan transformed into black and the blue into purple. I stood up once more and noticed my shadow was now cast over the flower. I allowed a smirk to place itself on my face.
"Very interesting, now why don't we have a proper conversation eh Nightmare Moon?"
Two glowing eyes placed themselves on the head of my shadow. "I am not yet able to take form because of those accursed elements but in time I will if I can still feed off of this wondrous energy you possess."
I gave a small bow and which the shadow did not mirror interestingly enough. "My energy is yours, after all I did save you for a reason."
"And that reason is if I may so inquire?"
