Sunset Shimmer and The Big Blue Wolf
Chapter Two
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"Thank you so much for walking Winona for me, Sonata, just me and the girls have been really busy doing, um..." Applebloom tapped her chin, trying to think of an excuse why she couldn't walk her dog like her sister had asked of her.
Scootaloo spoke up, "Baking cookies!" She smiled nervously.
Sweetie Belle butt in as well, "Feeding sick kitties at the pound!"
Sonata easily fell for their lies, "Oh it's no problem, Applebloom, I understand," She said, as she handed Winona's leash to the red head. "Being so charitable probably doesn't leave a lot of time to spend quality time with your animals I bet," She smiled.
The crusaders nodded in unison, "Yup! Exactly,"
"Well, see ya next time, Applebloom," Sonata smiled, turning to leave.
Scootaloo bit her lip, "Uh, Sonata? Are you sure you can walk all those dogs?" She pointed to the swarm of canines at her feet, some sniffing eachother's butts, others standing around staring at squirrels and birds in the trees.
"I'm sure, I've handled many more dogs before," She shrugged, "I really gotta go, bye girls," She waved goodbye before walking away with her army of dogs leading the way.
The girls looked at eachother and shrugged before going inside.

Sonata hummed softly to herself as she walked down one of the gravel paths that lead the park into the woods, where most people hiked or camped. Some of the dogs walked ahead of her, others behind her, a few between her legs which she managed not to trip over. Eventually, as she was planning to head back to the park and take them to their owners, she felt something tug at her leg.
"Huh?" Sonata looked down at the little chihuahua, whimpering softly. "Oh boy, you gotta go?"
He yipped in response.
Sighing, she let go of the leashes. "Alright, you guys do your business,"
All the dogs found their own spots to go to the bathroom, except for one. It was a German Shepard, named Ranger, awfully big for his breed and mangy too. He just sat on the ground, digging at the ground.
Eventually Sonata grabbed the dogs leashes, ready to get them back to their owners, except for one dog.
"Ranger, c'mon, we gotta go," She said, grabbing his leash and tugged on it lightly.
He growled and barked at her.
"Ranger..." Sonata scowled, tugging on it harder.
The big dog lost it and pounced onto her, biting her arm and trying to go for the neck. She managed to push him off of her, panting heavily as she got up and ran with the other dogs out of the forest, leaving Ranger behind licking blood off his lips.

Sonata sighed as she walked down the boulevard, feeling the lump in her pocket where she kept her money. She had been spending her afternoon trying to explain to her clients everything was fine, and that one of her clients dog was just very cranky that day and that their dogs weren't in any danger. She just felt lucky she hadn't permanently lost any of her clients, but still knowing she'd have to explain to Ranger's owner what he did would be difficult.
She went up to the old house and knocked on the door. The blue haired girl forced a smile, as the door opened a bit, only able to see the woman's teal eye. This woman had always been one of her oddest clients, even odder than Mrs. Jenkins, and she dressed her golden retriever in dresses and suits! How could anyone be weirder than that?
"Oh, hello Sonata," She said softly.
"Hey there...you..." She smiled, she had never gotten the woman's name, and she always refused to say who she was. "I just wanted to talk to you about Ranger-"
She jumped, hearing a bark coming from behind her. She quickly turned around, seeing said dog trotting passed her and into the house.
"Here's your money," She was surprised to see a pale butter yellow hand throw a couple of tens at her before slamming the door shut.
The blue siren stood there dumbfounded for a moment, before stuffing the money into her pocket and beginning her walk home.
