Champions of Harmony.
Chapter 1. The summoning.
Five champions. Five chosen heroes from different areas around their world, all carrying different ideals, desires, goals and skills, found themselves summoned to a dark chamber very unlike their usual summoning place. They looked around with a frown upon their faces, with the exception of one single champion, who was sitting in a meditating position, a look of concentration on his expression as he frowned gently.
One of the champions, a black male with a long grey cloak and two special designed guns at his side, stood front and called out “Why have you summoned us here, Summoners? This is not our usual battle-field and it is far from the usual battle-time.” Him frowning in confusion and slight anger at suddenly being summoned from his quest without a given notice or a warning.
Suddenly light appeared down around the many humans around the chamber. Six humans in various sizes and various forms of clothes or armour, and five Summoners, humans with their identity hidden by their purple robes with golden streaks at the sides. One of the Summoners spoke, his voice filled with power and age “Lucian. You and your fellow champions has been called here for a special quest that you all have been chosen personally for, because of your skills and your legendary tales.”
He was about to continue his line, before a woman, in a mix of metal and light clothing with a staff attached to her back, stepped up and asked confused “What do you mean with ‘special quest’?” her voice light and soothing.
One of the other Summoners spoke “Let of finish Lux, and you shall learn of what quest you have been chosen for.” A light tone of scolding in his tone, as Lux huffed and crossed her arms, while another male, a larger male wearing a thick suit of heavy metal armour, stepped up and said with a frown.
“You shall not speak to my sister that way!” The Summoner, who was spoken to, glared down at the male, who goes by the name of Garen, and was about to call Garen out on his insolence, before another Summoner called out with power,
“Silence! Stop this meaningless banter and let our brother continue with his explanation!” a warning glare at the other Summoner, who frowned, but nodded none the less as he kept in silence. The Summoner, who had spoken first, nodded in thanks, as he began to explain.
“We are facing a great problem. In our quest to seek our more champions to join the League of Legends, we oversaw a growing problem, which was plotted in the shadows and darkness, out of our unfocused sight. The champions, who has originated from the Shadow Isles have all escaped our grasp and has used our summoning spells to flee to a so far unknown world that we have just learned about, by tracking their magical signature. We need you six, to go to this world, seek them out and destroy them before they can bring their evil to this world, who has no idea of the danger they are.”
The champions all had various expressions, just from disbelief and shock, which was worn by Lux and Garen, to outright anger and rage, from Lucian, as the latter of the group said in rage “I knew those foul beings were up to no good! It is impossible to control those undead creatures!” his fist clenched in pure rage, as he was reminded of what had happened in his past and what he had lost in his hunt for those foul beings from the Shadow Isles.
Finally a fourth member of the group, a very large and muscular male with a thick and heavy shield in one hand, his large chest revealed and only wearing a pair of pants to cover his lower part of his body, spoke in a thick accent “And how many of these champions has escaped?”
The Summoner to the far left said, with a great sign “9 champions of the Shadow Isles, all undead or at least with evil intentions.”
“And why us?” the last voice, belonging to the male in a meditative position, he wore a blind-fold for his eyes, as well as a pair of pants and his chest also revealed, showing his muscular body, spoke up in a calm and collected tone “Why choose us of all the mighty champions at your exposal?”
One of the Summoners, a bit larger figure and younger in appearance, spoke up with a light chuckle “because of your each an individual past and story.” He smiled and looked at the male who had asked the question.
“Lee sin. Your story is tragic and you have shown you are willing to do right to correct your past mistakes. We trust you with this mission, because we know you are incapable of doing any evil, as it goes against your very nature.”
He looked at the two people, the male in thick heavy metal armour and the women in light metal armour. “Garen and Lux, sister and brother. You will fight well together and your sense of justice will prevail and make you take the right choice in the end.”
He looked onto the next champion, the very large male with the heavy shield and thick moustache “Braum. The giant of the Freljord. The kindest and strongest man known. You will protect the innocent and put a stopper to all evil.”
“And finally you, Lucian.” He said, as he spoke to the frowning male with his hands near his energy-guns. “Your story is probably the best reason we could choose you. We know you will never stop, until this quest is done and will see to that every one of the undead champions shall find rest in their undead life.”
Lucian, who was the one who seemed to take charge, snarled, before nodding and said “Fine. We accept your quest.” The other champions nodded in agreement “What can you tell us of this recently discovered world?”
“Not much…” One of the Summoners said with a sigh, “We haven’t had much time to discover it. What we do know, is that it is heavily influenced by magic and has a specie ruling that is unknown to Runeterra, so be warned, when revealing yourselves to the public, as it may spread confusion and terror, if given the wrong first impression.” The champions nodded in understanding as the Summoner continued, “We shall send you there now. There is little time to waste, as each second the undead grows stronger from their needed rest, after having cast such a strong summoning spell on their own.”
The champions nodded and prepared themselves, as each Summoner raised their hands and they began to glow in a brilliant light-blue light, each of the champions felt their bodies slowly transported across dimensions, before they disappeared in a huge burst of magical energy, being sent to places only the gods could help them now.

Meanwhile in the capital of Equestria, in the castle of the capital and inside a certain bedroom of this castle, a pony woke up with a startled expression, but not just any pony. No, the pony who woke up was one of the four ruling princesses and the one that was considered the greatest of them all by many of her subjects. The pony in question was Princess Celestia herself, as she had slept peacefully, until she, with all of her being, had felt a great amount of magical power, the same magical power she had felt days ago of the same strength, strength that surpassed her own and would make even the most skilled unicorns pale in comparison.
She was just about to get out of bed and walk to her sisters room, as said sister appeared in a flash of magical light and said with a serious tone "I assume you felt it too, sister?"
Celestia looked, feeling quite tired, at her sister, Luna and the other princess of Equestria and controller of the moon, and said with a soft worried smile "yeah... I don't know what these powerful surges of magic that has appeared the last few days means, but I can feel it in my bones, that this magic... it can either mean great news to Equestria, or really bad news and I pray it is the first of my guesses."
Luna sighed and walked up to the window, as she looked out over Equestria, covered in the calming and soothing coolness of night, as she said "We can only hope and pray sister... We can only hope and pray."
Chapter 2: the first contact
Chapter 2: First contact.
The five champions appeared as a beam of incredible magic struck the ground beneath their feet, each of them standing straight and looked around, on guard and ready to battle, if something of considerable threat attempted to attack them. They had appeared in a huge field of grass and hills, nothing as far as the eye could see.
As they realized they were alone, for now, and in a safe placed, Garen stood up and placed his sword on his back, as he looked around before commenting “So what is the plan?” looking as his fellow champions
“I say we try to contact the rulers of this land and inform them of our quest, so we can hunt the undead down, while not causing panic among the beings that live in this land.” He continued, as Braum nodded in agreement to his words.
“I agree with the swordsman. We should make sure they understand we are not of threat to them, before we take any further action.”
Lucian grimaced, but saw the logic in their words and said, “Fine, we can’t wait for too long. Each moment we are not seeking or fighting these unholy beings, they will get stronger and grow into a bigger threat to us and this world.”
Lux smiled amused at the group, as she said with a look towards Lee Sin “What do you say, big guy?”
Lee Sin turned towards the source of the sound, as he said, “I agree that finding civilisation and resources is a good idea for now.”
“Then we have reached agreement.” Garen said with a nod to the group, “We will find civilisation, ask for audience with the rulers of this land, explain our and their situation and let them know of our quest.” They all nodded, as they looked around to spot any kind of civilisation.
“I think I have spotted a road.” Lucian said with narrowed eyes, as he said “yeah… It is a road all right, and where there is a road, there is cities or villages. We better follow it.” As he began to walk towards the road in the distance, the rest following him closely with Braum in the back, his shield ready to defend in case of danger.
It took a few minutes of travel, before they reached the road, as Lux looked around for any kind of guidance, as she sighed, seeing nothing, and said with a shrug “May as well just walk one of the ways and hope for the best.”
The rest nodded, albeit Lucian frowned as he showed his slight disapproval of the ‘guess and hope for the best’-plan, but went with it none the less, as he had little options so far. He and the group took the road to the left of them, as they began to walk down in a hope to find some kind of civilisation.

Twilight Sparkle frowned as she stood in the main chamber of her castle, looking down at the map in front of her with a confused look. She had felt the huge surges of magic as well, but the map itself had given no indication of any form of danger or disharmony as of yet. It confused her to no end as such powerful surges of magic could not have been there without affecting the fragile harmony, which is spread across Equestria.
She had gotten Spike, her first friend outside her biological family in her life, and her most trusted and beloved assistant, to gather her friends for her, while she tried to get in tune with the Equestrian magic and try to track down the locations of these powerful magical surges.
She let her horn glow in a magical light, as she clenched her fists against the edge of the table, concentrating hard as she felt her magic and mind go in tune with the magic in Equestria itself, as she looked carefully through the land to try and find any abnormalities in the magical essence of the land.
She closed her eyes, letting herself fall into a magical trance, as she let the magic guide her, letting it help her seek out the potential threat to her land. She then finally saw it, gasping out in shock as in her trance, she saw 5 human-like figures, each of them unique compared to what she saw on the other side of the mirror. None of them had the trademarks of what could help identify them as a pony, like tails, ears, wings or horns. They also had the same skin-tone with the difference of maybe being a bit more pale or darker in their colour.
She opened her eyes in a gasp in shock, as she sat down in her throne, inhaling deeply and said, “Wow… I have never seen anything like that…” muttering to herself gently “their magic… their appearance… They looked like some kind of warriors. I need to make sure they are not a threat.” As she stood up, and as luck would have it, the doors opened and the rest of her friends and the rest of the council of friendship, walked inside the room as Rainbow Dash, who was flying lazily in the air, said “So what’s up Twilight?”
She smiled to her friends and said, “I have located at least one of the sources from the two magical surges that appeared in the last few days. They are on a road nearby and heading towards Ponyville. I don’t know whether or not they are hostile, but I don’t want to assume anything just yet, so I thought we could go out and greet them and learn of their intentions.”
The rest of the group nodded in understanding and surprise over this, as Fluttershy said with a worried frown “A-Are you sure it is completely safe?” while Rainbow Dash narrowed her eyes gently.
Twilight sighed and said, “I truly don’t know… I think I will send Celestia a letter and let her know of our plans, just in case.” As she looked at Spike, who already had a parchment and quill out and ready to write, as she smiled proudly to him.
“Dear Celestia.
I have found the sources of the recent magical surge and have found out it have brought five unknown humans to this world. I do not know where they are from, as they do not look like the humans from the mirror-world, but my friends and I will go investigate and hopefully find their intentions for our land.
If I do not sent a letter back in at least a day’s time, then assume we have been captured and these people pose a threat to Equestria.
Yours truly, Twilight Sparkle.”
As she stopped speaking, Spike had written down the last part and smiled to Twilight who nodded, and he immediately send the message to Celestia with his magical flame. She looked to the girls, who was looking ready to go with her and she said, “Let’s go girls.” As she began to head out of the castle, them walking by her side closely.
As they walked out into the streets, Applejack asked, “Could we expect a fight? Ah didn’t bring mah lasso and ah wondered if ah should go and get it?”
Twilight frowned for a second, before shaking her head “They didn’t appear hostile from what I saw… I would expect this to go peacefully, but in worst-case scenario, I can always teleport us away, before things gets dangerous.” Applejack nodded as Fluttershy sighed in relief and smiled gently, albeit still visibly nervous.
They soon arrived at the outskirts of Ponyville, as Twilight looked at her friends, all of them looking a tad nervous, as she said, “Let’s do this.” As they began to walk down the road, towards the strangers from another world.

Lux looked around and said, as she admired the scenery around them “This is quite a beautiful land. Much more peaceful looking and simple than Runeterra.”
The rest nodded in agreement, as Lucian said, “Just don’t get too used to the sights. I have no doubt that those undead champs are hiding in more darker and much more hostile areas of this world.”
Braum chuckled to himself and said “Relax Lucian. We may have come here to fight and hunt, but we should still plan our attack and not get lost in our anger and cloud our judgement.” His thick-accented friendly tone brought a smile upon Lux’s face as she nodded in agreement.
Lucian was about to respond, before Lee Sin brought up a hand and said, “Silence. I think I heard something approaching down the road.” The group kept silent as he listened carefully and nodded “Yeah… something is approaching. I don’t know what it is, but there is more than one, unless it got multiple feet and they, or it, are not very large.”
“You think they are hostile?” Garen asked with a frown, as he reached for his sword carefully. Lee Sin shook his head in a silent response to the question, making Garen stop the action.
“They are talking, but I can’t hear exactly what it is… I think it would be wise to keep calm and not show hostility.”
Lucian nodded to this “Very well. Let’s go meet these unknown beings.” As the group continued to walk.
Champions of Harmony
Twilight frowned and said, “I think we are getting closer. Rainbow? Mind taking a look from above?”
Rainbow nodded with a grin, as she flew up and looked over the area, before nodding and called down “I see them Twilight! They are getting closer as well… and they have seen me!” as she flew down instantly.
Twilight nodded with a smile as Rarity said, “Could be quite interesting to see these alien creatures. To see where they are from and what kind of world they live in.”
The group nodded as Pinkie grinned excited at the idea of holding a party for aliens, already planning loads of questions and stuff to do at their welcoming party.
Champions of Harmony
The five champions from Runeterra stiffened gently, as they finally saw the beings and were shocked to find they were nearly identical with horses from their world, with the exception of them being smaller, in weird colours and with wings, horns, with both or without either of them.
As the two groups stood in front of each other, meeting on the road a bit of a distance away from Ponyville, looking at each other with calculating eyes, while Pinkie grinned, Twilight was the first to speak out “Hello. I’m princess Twilight Sparkle.” Her using her title to greet the strange human-looking creatures “and these are my closest friends. May I ask who are you? What you are all doing here in Equestria and what is your relation with the huge surge of magic that appeared not so long ago?”
The champions all looked at each other, before Garen sighed and stepped up, taking the task of introducing them all “Greetings princess. We are champions sent from the League of Legends to finish a task, which has been put onto our burden. My name is Garen and this is my sister Lux.” As he gestured to the woman in armour and light silk clothing.
“This is Lee Sin,” as he gestured to the blindfolded male, who bowed shortly in respect and greeting towards the ponies.
“This is Braum.” As he looked towards the very large male, who grinned at the ponies and said with a jovial voice.
“Greetings to meet you!” his thick accent surprised Twilight.
“And finally. This is Lucian.” As the undead-hunter nodded towards the ponies.
The ponies in question had mixed reactions to the humans before them. Pinkie was grinning wildly, while Fluttershy was hiding a bit behind Rainbow Dash, who was looking at them sharply. Applejack merely smiled and Rarity nodded in greetings as well, keeping polite, albeit a trained eye could see she was making mental notes of their outfits and how they dressed.
Twilight nodded and said “And your relation to this powerful magic source?”
Garen looked at Lux for help, as she was the one who had greater knowledge of the magical arts, and she smiled amused and said, “The powerful magic you felt, was probably from the Summoners of the League, who sent us here to do our quest.”
“And what is your quest exactly…?” Twilight asked with a frown.
Lux smiled gently and said, “We will gladly inform you and the ruler of this land, if you give us the chance. We can even surrender our weapons for now, if that is required.” As she said this, both Garen and Lucian tensed, while Braum smirked and nodded, Lee Sin not caring, as he had no weapons.
Twilight nods and said “Very well. I shall arrange a meeting between Celestia, Luna and your group, and then we can discuss your purpose in our land. Follow me and I take you to my castle.”
The group nodded in acceptance to the offer, Lux smiling as Garen was too quite satisfied with how easily their quest was so far. No conflict with the locals and no real trouble so far, albeit that was surely to come later, he thought with a frown.
It was not long, before they arrived at the edge of Ponyville, as the group of champions followed the ponies inside the town, getting several looks of shock and a few of awe or fear. Lux smiled and waved back to a few ponies politely, Braum did this as well while Garen and Lucian kept focus and followed Twilight and her friends closely. There were whispers, rumours rapidly spreading over what was happening and who these mysterious strangers was, and what kind of beings they may be.
As they reached the castle, the group, except Lee Sin, looked at the crystal structure in a bit of shock and awe, never having seen such structure before in their entire life. They were led inside, where the entire group was greeted with a cry as Spike ran over and said “Twilight!
Celestia have answered the message!” Twilight nodded happily and accepted the scroll from her dragon assistant, who was looking at the humans in shock, the same humans looking back at him in surprise. They had knowledge of dragons, but had never seen a young one and especially not one that did not try to kill humans or other beings.
‘Dear Twilight’ Twilight began to read out ‘I am glad that you have located the source of the magic and I wish you luck in your quest and I shall be ready with the guards and our full force if needed. Take care.
Yours truly, Celestia.’
Twilight nodded and quickly sent a response to her, asking for her and her sister, Luna, to get here as quickly as possible, as she had found strangers from another world and they had asked to meet the rulers of this land. Spike immediately send the message.
Twilight sat down in her throne, as she smiled and said, “Now we can only wait. They should be here soon enough.” The champions nodded in return, showing their gratitude towards the quick actions and fast response, while silently taking in the whole world around them, secretly every one of them was in shock or light awe over what was happening, but hid it well from the ponies in front of them.
As Twilight predicted, it didn’t take long, before the doors to the throne room opened and in walked Celestia and Luna themselves, both looking at the champions as Celestia smiled gently and said, “I think an greeting is in order. My name is Celestia and princess of this land together with my sister, Princess Luna.” Luna nodded in greetings to the champions politely, and Celestia continued “And my former student, Princess Twilight Sparkle.”
The champions nodded and each of them introduced themselves once again to the two new ponies and soon after Celestia said, “So… you wished to explain your quest?”
Garen nodded and stepped forward as he began to speak
