Ponysona 3: The Nightmare Hour

After Twilight welcomed Star and I to S.E.E.S we set our weapons and the guns in our dorm rooms and went to school.

"Hey Star, wonder if we'll be in the same class?" I asked.

"I don't know, but it would be nice to have a class with a familiar friend." Star replied. I gave him a smile.

"Hey think I have a chance with Swirl?" I whispered to him.

"No." He replied bluntly.

"Didn't have to be that harsh dude." I said with a small look of sadness.

"Sorry, just saying it how I see it."

"Jeez." We both got to our class and low and behold we were in the same class.

"Okay class welcome the two new students StarFly, and Crescent Blade." The teacher said. Star and I took our seats He got a seat in the back of class but I got one in the front so we couldn't speak to each other. I was taking notes for the history class when the teacher called on me.

"Crescent please tell me what it was that made the wonderbolts come to be?" The teacher asked, I was standing there thinking when I saw a note under my desk. I read it and saw the answer for the question.

"Nightmare moon appearing." I said and looked at Star knowing he somehow got that note to me.

"Very good." The teacher had me sit down and continued to teach the class. I wasn't really paying attention to what she was saying but I was reading this manga under my desk, and the teacher didn't seem to notice.

After the classes we had lunch I noticed that Star was sitting alone so I decided to go sit next to him.

"Hey Star." I said to him as I sat down next to him.

"Oh hey Crescent." He said with a very bored tone.

"So did you see how hot Swirl, Silver, and twilight are?" I asked him. He looked at me and then went back to looking at the ground. "So you're not into that sorta thing?"

"No I just need to get to know them." Star said while he shifted his gaze towards me. "So I don't go flirting with  girls that are hot looking." I could feel that we were getting closer as friends. I heard a buzzing and it made me feel sick. It was terrible and it seemed to be affecting Star as well.

"Hey dude you okay?" I asked Star as he held his head.

"Yeah, i'm fine just, got dizzy nothing to worry about." After he said that the buzzing stopped and I wasn't feeling dizzy anymore.

"Okay if you say so, oh did you hear a buzzing sound?" I asked.

"Yeah I did, and it made me dizzy." He replied.

"The same with me!" I said. "Do you think it has something to do with the potential?" I asked.

"Maybe, but we won't be sure if we don't ask the others first." Star replied.

After school Star and I went back to the dorm to ask the others, but when we got there nopony was there at all.

"Hey anypony home?" I yelled out.

"I don't believe that you have to yell." Star said.

"Well I wanted to see if anypony was home okay?" I said slightly pissed at him.

"I just don't need your screaming in my ear." He said while walking away.

"Hey where do you think you're going?" I asked.

"I'm heading to the back room, I think I'll switch my weapon from this short sword to something more refined, like a katana." Star said as he waved and went to the back. I stood in the lobby all alone, it made me feel sad. I didn't like being alone so I decided to get some sleep and wait for the nightmare hour. So I went up to my room and went to bed.

"So this tower's tartarus?" I asked.

"That is correct, it's where most of the shadows come from." Twilight said.

"If it's where most of the shadows come from then how come I fought one outside of the tower?" Star asked.

"Some Shadows are strong enough to escape from tartarus." Flash replied.

"Make sense I guess." Star Said. We all then walked inisde of tartarus to start our fight against the nightmare hour. We were walking around on the first floor I was wondering if I had the potential to be a persona user.

"Hey Crescent what's wrong?"  Star asked me, I didn't realize it till just then but I had a sad look on my face.

"Nothing, i'm just fine." I replied to him knowing that was a lie.

"It doesn't look that way." Star said while putting his hand on my back.

"Okay fine, I just don't know whether or not I have the potential, like you guys do." I said while looking at the ground.

"Hey listen when we see a shadow we'll let you try to summon your persona, okay?" Star turned my head to look at his face and he was giving me a smile that said everything's going to be fine.

"Yeah okay." I said while I picked myself up and stayed ready for a fight. I looked around and saw a door that was seeming to call me towards it, I couldn't help myself I started walking towards it and reached my hand out to open it.

"Wait don't open tha-" Twilight started to say, but before she could finish I opened the door and a huge wave of shadows came at all of us. The shadows swarmed the others but seemed to leave me alone like I wasn't there at all.

"Dammit." Sentinel said as he started to punch the shadows.

"They have us pinned." Twilight said. The shadows were overwhelming the others, they tried using their personas but for every shadow they beat another took its place. I was panicking I didn't know what to do, I swung my sword at the shadows but my attack went right through them.

"Crescent the gun!" Star yelled at me. I was panicking so I grabbed the gun and started to shoot at the shadows which didn't work either.

"Don't shoot the gun at the shadows idiot, aim it at your head and shoot yourself." Flash said.

"But I don't have the potential." I said while I started to cry, my new friends were going to die and it was going to be my fault.

"Trust your heart." I heard a voice say. I aimed the gun at my head and yelling I pulled the trigger. A creature appeared, it was a pony standing in the center of a wheel and fire all around it.

"Combustion wave!" I yelled, the creature spun the wheel and flames engulfed the shadows taking them all out and saving my friends.

"Crescent you did it." Swirl congratulated me.

"Malho, my persona." I said while looking at my persona with a smile.

"Yes yes good work, now we need to hurry back to the dorm." Twilight said, after that we all ran outside and headed to the dorm.
