Ponysona 3: The Nightmare Hour

We where walking through tartarus trying to find the shadow, I was getting seriously tired and wanted to go back home.

"Why the hell can't we find it?" Crescent yelled. He was also making this weird face that kinda scared me.

"I don't know, it's so big that you'd expect to find it right away." Twilight said. She was right, the last time we went to fight it, it was huge, it also had some attacks that we couldn't block, it managed to knock everyone out so I had to carry them back to the dorm.

"Don't give up, we'll fins it, I just know we will." Star said. He was a great leader, he was able to cheer everypony up when he encouraged them, I mean sure he only joined the group a couple days ago but he was a nice guy, and very handsome.

"He's right,if we continue to lose hope then we won't accomplish anything." Sentinel said.

"Hey Silver, you still can't summon your persona right?" Flash asked.

"Yeah I can't, which is odd, since it seems that only ponies that can summon their persona can function during the Nightmare Hour." I replied. "Maybe i'll never be able to summon it."

"Hey don't lose hope, I bet that if we get in some serious trouble then you'll be able to summon your persona." Star said as he patted me on my back. I didn't know what it was with him, but he made me feel better, like he was a natural born leader.

"Yeah." I straightened myself. "Thanks for that."

"Hey no need to thank me, just know that you do have the potential, how else could you function in the Nightmare Hour." Star said.

"He's right, if I didn't have the potential then I wouldn't be able to function right now." I thought to myself. "It's quite odd if you ask me." I told him.

"Well let's just hope that we don't get into trouble." Star said as he looked around in a panic. Completely denounced  to us we didn't realize it till then but we got separated from the others.

"W-where did the others go?" I asked him.

"I don't know, but i'm sure we'll find them before something bad happens." He started to walk down a hallway. "So let's go."

We where walking for awhile and where were getting no closer to the others.

"Do you think we'll ever find them?" I asked wondering if we would be trapped here forever.

"I know we'll find them, we just need to keep looking." He said, he didn't even sound scared. I was doubting if we would ever find the others but I knew as long as Star was with me we wouldn't be in any danger. "Wait." He said as he had me stop.

"What it it?" I asked.

"You hear that?" He asked me. I was hearing something, it was like the ocean I loved the sound of the waves usually, but this time it made me feel terrible. It reminded me that if we didn't make it out then we'd never get to see anypony else ever again. "It's the ocean." I said.

"When was the last time there was an ocean in the canterlot?" He asked. It made me realize that it was one of Twilight's attacks.

"Twilight." I said.

"Exactly, we're heading in the right direction, let's go." He grabbed my hand and we started running towards the sound.

"Sentinel keep up your earth attacks, Crescent more fire, Flash, and Swirl, Wait till the other's catch up and can give you something to heal your wounds." I heard twilight say. We ran through a door and saw the others fighting the misto shadow.

"Guys!" Star yelled at them. They then looked at us and twilight motioned for us to come and help.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Well we found the Msito shadow, but our attacks aren't working." Twilight said.

"That's terrible." Star said. "Well since we don't know what attacks work we'll just need to keep going." Star then turned to me. "Silver you stay out of the way so that you don't get hurt."

"Right." I said as I ran out of harms way.

"Flash, Swirl, get over to Silver, she'll heal you and refill your S.P, Sentinel switch to using physical attacks to save S.P, and Crescent, do what you need to." Star commanded. They all did as they where told. When Swirl and Flash got to me I got out a soothing balm and rubbed it on them and they looked like they felt much better.

"Thanks." Flash said.

"Okay Swirl, Flash, since you're now healed switch out with Crescent and Sentinel, so they can heal." Star said.

"Right." Flash and Swirl said. They then took Crescent, and Sentinel's places so that they would be able to heal. I was standing there watching the battle, constant switch outs and them running out of S.P it was devastating, we where running out of soothing balms and medicine. It was looking as though they where going to die.

"hnng!" Star grunted as he was tossed into the wall next to me. "At this rate we'll all be dead." He said as he ran back into battle.

"Oh my gosh, what can I do to help, I can't keep still and just heal them, but I can't fight either." I said to myself.

"Stare at the enemy." A voice told me from out of nowhere. I then did what the voice told me and stared at the Misto shadow. "wha!" I yelled. I was able to see information about the shadow, I saw it's strengths and it's weakness.

"Hey Silver, look behind you!" Star yelled at me. I then looked behind me and saw a beautiful looking mare putting a halo around my head.

"Fisa." I said. "My persona."

"What does it do?" Star yelled again

"I-I don't know, but I am seeing the Misto shadow's weakness." I said.

"So it gives us information, quickly what's it's weakness?"

"Lightning." I said.

"Great, now I can take it down." Star said as he looked back at the Misto shadow. "Great Lightning!" Star yelled, he shot himself in the head and his persona Zi appeared. In a flash of light Zi brought down a great bolt of lightning that crashed straight into the Misto shadow. The Misto shadow stopped moving but it didn't disappear.

"It's paralyzed!" I yelled out.

"Great, everypony rush it!" Star yelled. All at once everpony else ran towards the Misot shadow, and started to strike it relentlessly. After the bruta assault the Misto shadow was looking pretty beat.

"It's low on Stamina, one more solid attack should take it down." I said.

"Leave that to me!" Star yelled, he then jumped high into the air.

"You can do it!" We all cheered him on. Star then started falling towards the Misto shadow and was ready to swing.

"I hope you're ready for this you bastard!" Star yelled as he flew right past the Misto shadow and then landing on the ground, and right after that the Misto shadow exploded into nothingness. "Check mate." Star said as he walked towards us. "Great work everyone, that's one down." He said with a smile.

"That was awesome." I said.

"Yeah it really was, dude how did you learn to do that?" Crescent asked.

"I dunno, it just sorta came naturally." Star said.

"It was impressive, but we should really get out of here before it becomes one o'clock." Twilight said.

"Right." We all replied, and started to run out of tartarus.

We all go to the dorms after the Nightmare Hour had passed, and we all gathered in the lobby.

"Here's to a successful attack on the Nightmare hour." Star said as he held up a glass of cider.

"Cheers!" We all said and then took a drink.

"And here's to Silver getting her persona." Sentinel said.

"Cheers." We all said again and took another drink.

"And here's cause none of us died." Flash said.

"Cheers." We all said and then drank again.

"So how does it feel to have your persona Silver?" Star asked me.

"It feels good, i'm glad that I can now help other than healing you guys." I replied.

"Yeah, and we're glad that you can now give us an advantage by telling us the weaknesses of the shadows that we fight." Twilight said. I was happy, I could help them and they would help me, we all became closer and partied until we all were exhausted and went to our rooms, awaiting the next day.
