Ponysona 3: The Nightmare Hour

"You know it's pretty cool that we got solar week off." Crescent said. I looked at his smug smile. It was a few weeks after our fight with the Miso shadow and we were all pretty stressed, we had non stop trips to tartarus and we were also pretty exhausted.

"Yes it is, we can now focus more on tartarus." Twilight said. I heard Crescent groan next to me.

"Come on, can't we atleast go somewhere for solar week? Like the beach?" Crescent said.

"No way, you just want to see us in bikinis." Swirl said

"Come on somepony back me up." Crescent whined

"I think the beach is a great idea." I said, Swirl looked at me.

"Wait you are agreeing with him?" Swirl said slightly pissed.

"Well yeah, the beach could help calm us down." I replied.

"If our leader says so, then we're doing it." Twilight said

"Whoa!" Crescent yelled. "There's a lot of hot mares here."

"Geez you're such a pervert Crescent." Swirl said pissed off at him.

"I'm just being a guy." Crescent replied with a huff. "Hey Sentinel, let's have a challenge, Whichever one of us that can get the most mares numbers wins."

"I accept your challenge." Sentinel replied as he snapped his fingers

"Hey Star tell them this is a bad idea." Swirl said.

"I won't lose." I said.

"huh?" Swirl said confused. "ugh, boys." Swirl said as she walked off to leave us alone.

"So the rules, only one chance per mare, and don't try to sabotage the others." Crescent said.

"What does the winner get?" Sentinel asked.

"Something special." Crescent replied.

"Protein?" Sentinel asked.

"No, the winner will get these." I said as I held up an envelope.

"What are those?" Crescent asked.

"It's the girls' measurements." I replied.

"N-no way!" Crescent yelled. "How the hell did you get those?"

"I have my ways." I replied, as I remembered how much it hurt when I took these. I went to the nurses office at the school and asked to see student records for a class trip, obviously I lied but I got the measurements, after the girls found out I was in serious trouble.

"Okay so our prize is the girls' measurements." Sentinel said

"Let operation babe begin." Crescent said.

I stood back and watched as Crescent and Sentinel were desperately trying to get phone numbers but failing every time, I decided to wait for the right one and get her number, but none of the girls were looking like they were nice ponies.

"How come we can't get any numbers?" Crescent asked.

"Maybe because they think you're perverts." I said.

"Dude, harsh." Crescent said while looking slightly sad. He looked around and then his eyes settled on something, curious I looked in the direction he was staring and saw a beautiful unicorn, she was wearing a blue flowing dress with a white collar. "Okay new objective, her."

"Got it." Sentinel said. Crescent Sentinel and I went behind some rocks and decided to take turns to try to get her number.

"Hey." Crescent said as he walked up to her.

"No, you're not him." She replied. Crescent walked back to us and looked really sad.

"I'm out." He said.

"My turn." Sentinel said, he then walked up to the mare. "I was wondering."

"I refuse." She said flatly, Sentinel then walked back.

"I didn't even get to finish what I was going to say." He said looking depressed. It was my turn to walk over to her and talk to her, I walked over to her and she then turned to look at me.

"It's you." She said.

"What?" I asked.

"You are him." She replied. "The one I am supposed to share my destiny with." I stood there in silence, not knowing what she meant.

"Okay." I said.

"What the hell?" Crescent yelled. We were all sitting in the main lobby of a hotel, we had just watched a video that showed the cause for the Nightmare Hour, and the reason for why I am an orphan and Swirl's dad is dead.

"This is troublesome, we now know what caused the Nightmare Hour." Twilight said.

"My dad worked on the project to get Nightmaremoon back." Swirl said, an obvious tone of sadness in her voice.

"And it killed my parents." I said. "I had no idea as to what had happened to my parents, it was ten years ago that I became an orphan, and now I know." I looked to the ground.

"Man this is news, not even Twilight knew, and she's one of the main people for the Sparkle group." Sentinel said.

"I need some air." Swirl said as she ran outside.

"Wait, what time is it?" Twilight asked.

"Around eleven fifty-nine." Sentinel replied.

"Swirl's in danger, we didn't bring our weapons, or our guns." Twilight said.

"I'll go get her." I said as I gave chase.

"Swirl, wait up." I yelled as I chased her to the pier. She stopped at the edge, and I noticed that it was the Nightmare Hour.

"My dad died, and it was because of this stupid power that we have!" She yelled. "And your dad was the lead on the project, so it's your fault!" She was pointing and screaming at me, I saw tears in her eyes, and she made me angry.

"Well atleast you still have your mother, I don't have either!" I yelled at her, I saw that it made her feel bad, I wanted her to feel bad, both my parents died, and she was blaming me for just her dad dying.

"I-i'm sorry" She said while wiping her eyes.

"It's fine, you were just angry, come on, let's go back to the others." I said to her.

"Thou hast established a new bond, and is now able to create personas of the lovers arcana." I heard a voice say in my head, it was the same when I got closer with Crexcent, and Twilight.

"Wait, look." Swirl said as she pointed at a huge wave of shadows coming for us.

"Come on let's go!" I yelled as I grabbed her hand.

"T-they've got us surrounded." She said. The shadows didn't leave us any openings to get away.

"Damn, no way out of this." I said. The shadows got closer to us, but soon after they started to disappear, they disappeared into puffs of smoke, just like when they got killed.

"Firing!" I heard a voice yell, we looked towards where the voice was coming, and I saw the mare that was on the pier earlier that day.

"Who's she?" Swirl asked.

"I-I don't know." I replied. She was firing bullets out of her fingers, shadows kept swarming her, and her dress caught fire.

"Persona." She yelled. A blue flash of light and a persona appeared lighting all the shadows on fire, the persona looked like a mare holding s hield out in front of her.

"She's a persona-user?" Swirl said in confusion. The mare's dress finished burning and I saw robotic components, she looked like a normal mare from her hands and head, but her legs and arms were robotic.

"She's a robot!" I yelled. After the mare finished up with the shadows she walked over to us.

"I am Melody Dawn, a class two shadow extermination weapon." She said. I stared at her and was in complete shock. "I am here to protect you, StarFly."

"What!" I yelled.

I was standing in the velvet room, Igor was looking at me like he wanted to stare into my soul.

"Welcome to the velvet room, this place exist between mind and matter, dream and reality." Igor said. "Do you need any assistance?"

"Yeah, I want to fuse some personas." I replied.

"Ahh, fusing a persona with another will be tricky for you, but I know what to do, bring them over here." He said. I walked over to Igor and placed down the personas that I wanted to fuse. "Just give me a moment to work my magic." He made the cards shine and then within a few minutes a new persona was sitting where the old ones were.

"Jila." I said as I picked it up and put it in my pocket.

"That is correct, it is of the magician arcana, which means it is best suited for magic attacks." Igor said. I started to leave the velvet room. "Before you go, I have a request, Spend some time with Elizabeth, unlike me she can freely leave the velvet room, and she needs someone to spend time with, so why don't you get to that." He said, and then my vision went black.

"StarFly, please wake up." I heard Melody call in the distance. I woke up and saw her looking down at me, instinctively I jumped back and hit my head on the wall.

"Melody, what are you doing in my room?" I asked as I rubbed the back of my head in pain.

"I was waking you up." She replied.

"No I mean what are you doing in my room?" I said again.

"You had an alarm set and you did not wake up, so I woke you up, I have been standing here all night." She said. Melody placed her hand on my forehead. "Your body temperature has increased." I didn't notice it but I was blushing, Melody was leaning very close to me, one of her knees was on my bed, and her face was extremely close to mine, I felt my heart race. Swirl walked into my room like she always did to wake me up.

"Hey Star, time t get u-." She noticed Melody leaning towards me with. "Star what are you doing with Melody!" Swirl had a terrifying presence to her.

"I was just checking his temperature, it was abnormally high, he may have a cold." Melody said

"Oh really, sure." Swirl said, obviously pissed she walked out of my room and left me and Melody alone.

"Star I wish to try something, I saw other ponies doing it and wish to try it out." Melody said.

"Sure, go ahead." I said, I wasn't really paying attention to what Melody said, I was just relived that I didn't get smacked, or punched. "So what is it that you wanted to try?" I asked, Melody then grabbed my hand, and squeezed it lightly.

"How does it feel?" Melody asked me.

"Well, your hand is, soft for a robot, and not only that, you aren't really cold to the touch, but you're hand is also, warm." I said.

"Thank you for allowing me to do this, I will go downstairs and make breakfast for you." Melody then walked out of my room and left me there.

"Huh, for a robot, she acts quite a bit like a mare, I think I understand her better now." I thought to myself

"You have created a new bond, and are able to make personas of the Aeon arcana." I heard a voice ring in my head.

"That makes, four new friends, wonder how many more I can get." I said to myself, and then went downstairs, I noticed that everypony was sitting in the lobby. It seemed as though they had nothing better to do, so I sat down with everypony, and started a conversation.
