Tartarus was as hellish as ever. Each prisoner was in their cage slowly waiting to be tried by the princess. Yet it did not matter, they might as well forget about them.
Time has slowly wither way their hopes to escape, and so has their companions. Many died of old age, while other break out and fall into the raging fire of the ground. Tirek may have escaped once, but his return to her only meant stricter security.
Deep within the caves, there laid a strange spider with two long tails. It moved ever so slowly to any cage, but it was always pushed back by some visiting gaurds. This creature was hungry. every day it would slowly crawl to devour any magic crystals that the gaurds may drop, but it was never enough. The creature needed more.
All hope was lost until one faithful day, princess Celestia came to put on trial Glimwork, the gryphon arsonist. The creature felt a sudden urge of haste. Something about her and her unicorn gaurds gave off a strong sense. Something magical.

"Hello Glimwork", said Celestia.

"Good day your highness, "he replied, "or is it Goddess. you never quite specify,"

"You know why we are here. You were arrested by your own kind for the destruction of the newly built Governmental Office in gryphonstone."

"Bah! Useless pony culture is not needed in the great gryphon empire. WHy when i was young we-"

"Your own clan decided that it was necessary to have such building and requested our aid. They specifically requested that the building was to be made as grand as our own. The Clan leader is requesting your apaology in exchange that you provide community service in the reconstruction of the building."

"I'd rather walk featherless than build a blasphemous building in our own city"

"Very well, you will stay here for 79 moons. Then we will see what happens then."

The creature crawled much faster then ever as it manage to get its self latch onto one of the unicorns armor plates. It felt a strong presence of magic. With a quick hiss, it open some of its scales and started to feed on the excess magic radiating off.
Celestia and her gaurds went off into a portal that she made and return back to Equestria. Before that, they check to see if they wer bringing something along.
"Don't worry ma'dam, our tracker has identified nothing that has cling on to us"

"Are your sure?" she asked concered, "TRhis is new technology and I do not want to risk anything."

"Yes we are sure. the Tracker sends out magic particles and detects anything that reacts with the particles. Twilight has stated that it is 99.9% accurate."

The machine detected all of the gaurds and return with nothing. The creature remined hidden in the armor plate, but it was not detected. The creature absorb the magic around it. Making it invisible to the tracker.
"See nothing"

"very well, lets all be off our way." she stated as she activated the portal.
The portal tore through and released a huge amount of magic. As they all enter, the creature jump off inside the portal absoring as much magic as it could.

On the other side of the portal, Equestria, the creature quickly scurried away into the woods near Canterlot. As it went off, it began to grow. it grew as big as a pony head and so did its desire. Food.
Hungry
The creature is now in Equestria, a land filled with magic. The creatue went off walking around, using its tail only to move faster than. As it journey through, a sensation drove it to a stop.
The creature was feeling some magic comming out. It scurried fast to the source. There was a botonist using his horn to levitate his notes. He was busy identifiying the gene structure of the poison joke. Maple Root stood there taking more sample as he quickly heard a hiss.
He turned to see the creature standing there with its legs in a attacking position.
"fascinating" he awed, "This is amazing. i have never seen anything like this." with a quick respond he activated his phone to call on his assistant Fauna.
"Hello, fauna? Its me Maple."

"yeah what is it?"

"i just found a new creature here. You are going to be impress."

"Describe it to me. I do not want you to drag me to find another discovered creature."

"Fine. Don't get cocky", he replied. Last time he mistoke a cloud spider to be a new sub-species of bird. fauna sometimes wonder how he could even obtain a pH.D. "So its a spider of some sort."

"Thats it?" She sounded irritated.

"No. NO. it has two tails and it appears to have scales riding along its back. No eyes, i mean that is a suprise. i wonder how it finds its way around."

"Maple, focus!"

"Right, right, sorry. umm it appears to have some sort of tounge hidden in its underbelly."

"It sounds like a cave walker. Not a new discovery."

" I am near no caves at all."

"Then maybe it got lost. having no eyes has led them to go far away from caves before. Look call me when its important. even better dont call me for the day. I am this close of finding the Diomand Dogs new cave system."

Before he could reply, she hanged up. Maple returned the telephone back on his sack and look at the creature.
The creature quickly rose up and shot one of its tail on the neck of the stallion. This creature had some strong grip as it drag him closer than ever. Maple tried to get out but the creature prove to be too strong. The creature jumped on his head and held on it tight.
The Stallion could no longer see but he felt something quickly enter his mouth.
In a few moments the stallion fell. He felt sleepy and started to dream.
