Detective John Cross, former S.C.P.D Sheriff now a private investigator in San Francisco, was assigned to a case he will never understand; to find, inspect, and investigate a mysterious spiral hole, otherwise known as a portal. He fears this might be an end to people's sanity, as he doubted the phenomena of an inter-dimensional, alternate dimension or God knows what will lie on the other side of the portal. God(ess[es]) only knows what he will stumble upon, and what he must face, to possibly gain his sanity again.
