David's Dream Realm.

"Now I know what it feels like to have a piano dropped on my head.", he stood up, looked around and saw that he was once again, in his Dream Realm, 'Either I'm dead, unconscious or sleeping to be here. Maybe I'm dead.'

"Cassiel?! Where are you?! You're the only one that could get me here, you have to be here somewhere!", he shouted to try and find Cassiel to see if she was okay from the last attack.

"David?! Is that you?!", the voice came from behind David, 'Wait... Sheryn?!', he thought and looked behind him, it was indeed Sheryn standing there, with tears formed in her eyes, David did the same and ran towards her. He reached her and embrace Sheryn like she was the only one woman in the world.

"Sheryn! Oh thank you Queen Elizabeth for letting her live! Are you alright? Are you hurt or anything? Is there something wrong with the kids or our parents?! How did you get here?", David threw multiple questions at Sheryn.

"I'm okay David.", she said while still sniffing, "Our family is still living a normal life except for me. After two weeks after your death, I've been having nightmares, the last time I saw you was the time I got captured by something. Can you explain to me what is going on and what?"

"Story telling may not be my cup of tea,", he said while whiping the tears off Sheryn's eye, "but I'll do anything for my wife."

After what seems like a long time, David ended the story by saying, "And that's what I have been doing after I died. I know that was hard to believe but if you don't believe me then it's okay."

Sheryn was just sitting on the ground, confused and surprised at the same time, "You saved a kingdom from the creature that captured me even though you knew nothing about them?"

"Well, I did save it. But I also saved it because of you. If I didn't do anything about it, who knew what could he possibly do to you. I saved you because you still have a long way ahead of you, I want you to live your life to the fullest and I don't want anything to stop you from doing that.", David told her.

Before Sheryn could respond, they both heard a giggle. They turned to their side and saw Cassiel hovering there, smiling happily at them. David was surprised and happy inside because Cassiel was still alive, "Cassiel! You're alive! What happened to you?"

"I have been resting and gaining my energy back. I can't just get you here and tell you what I have been doing every night you fall asleep, David. I also knew that you have defeated Sombra. You have done it, you have saved countless lives. They would have been dead and Equestria would have been ruled by him. Everyone will remember your name, David.", she said.

"I didn't defeat him alone, the other guys helped too. I would have been a mash of flesh if it wasn't for them. Also, what will happen to them after this?", David asked.

"It is your choice weather you keep them or you can return them to me."

David didn't even thought for a second, "Oh you bet I will have them beside me everywhere I go. They helped me too much to be back as a dummy."

"Speaking of them, Thomas and Charles and your friends appeared to be quite eager to see you awake. It is time for you to wake up now, David. Say your goodbyes to your wife."

"Wait, this is the last time I will see my wife again?!", he said while looking quite shocking.

"I'm afraid that's true. There's nothing I could do for you, David.", Cassiel responded.

David sighed and turned back to his wife, "I'm sorry, Sheryn. I can't get back to you anymore. This will be the last time we saw each other. I promise you, if there is a way to get me back to you, I will take my chances and use it even if the chances of it are slim or might kill me."

Sheryn collapsed onto the floor, crying harder than the last time. She thought that he could get back to her, but she was wrong, "No! Don't leave me, David!"

"You will have to let go of me no matter what. But promise me something, take care of our kids and parents.", he turned back to Cassiel and told her, "Okay Cass, wake me up, please.". In a blink of an eye. He disappeared once again.

David eyes began to open, the light from the nearby window shone directly into his eyes. His ears began to pick up a sound, he looked over to his side and saw a heartbeat monitor. David looked down to his body and saw that his right leg and left arm was casted, he assume that this was the hospital.

"How in the world did I get here?", he said to himself. Suddenly, the door swung open. A pony appeared with a nurse cap and a red cross on her flank, he guessed this was a nurse.

"Oh good! You're awake now. Are you feeling better?", the pony said.

David tried to move but it just hurt him even more. He stopped and took a long breath before responding, ""Better" isn't the word I use to describe the situation I'm in right now. But I am feeling quite fine, thank you for asking. Also, can I ask what is your name and what hospital am I in right now?"

She chuckled and said, "My name is Nurse Redheart and you are in Canterlot's Hospital Room. You have been here for over two days now."

David wasn't surprised by the fact that he got knocked out for two days, "Okay. Oh, can I ask where are my friends?"

"They are outside waiting to speak to you. Would you like me to call them in?", she said and David answered by nodding at her. She walked outside and David could hear her talking to the others. A few moments later, they walked into the room. Instead of walking normally into the room, Rainbow just flew in and hugged him despite David being hurt.

"David! Oh I'm glad you're okay. Why would you do such a thing like that?!", Rainbow said while looking very worried.

"I had to, Dash. If I didn't stop him, who knows what he would do to my wife and who knows what could he possibly do to this kingdom if I didn't step up."

The others were confused at first, "Wait, he had your wife?! Why didn't you tell us this? You knew that he was coming all along?", Twilight said.

David just let out a long sigh before responding, "I didn't tell you about him because I don't want any of you to be worried or involved into this. I didn't want any of you to get hurt and I knew the only way to do that is by keeping my mouth shut. I'm sorry for keeping this locked."

"It's okay David.", Twilight said and gently put her hoof on his shoulder, smiling at him, "You did what you do best to protect us and we thank you for doing that."

David smiled back and responded, "No problem, guys. What matter is that all of you are okay.", he took a glance at Rainbow and turned back to the others, "Can you guys wait for me outside and let me have a word with Rainbow for a few minutes?"

The others looked at eath other, shrugged and moved out of the room, leaving David and Rainbow alone in the room. They looked at each other for a while before David finally spoke up, "Why did you come back for me the other night? You could have been hurt."

"If I didn't come back for you, you would still be on the ground if no one was looking for you. Also, that could have been my last time seeing you and my secret could have been hidden forever."

"That was the stupidest decision you have ever made... but that was also the bravest one too because you entered a room with a monster that had the power to demolish the whole entire kingdom. You are the bravest pony I have ever seen in my entire life.", David complimented her, making her unleashing a huge blush on her face.

"Thank you. can I... ask you an honest question?", she asked timidly. David was confused of her sudden attitude switch, but he didn't care about it and nodded in approval. Rainbow took a deep breath and said, "Do you love me the same as I do?"

David just looked at her, chuckled and said, "Of course I do, Dash. I love you but not as much as my wife. All of my love goes to her and no one can take her place."

"You loved your wife more than anything else in the world, that is sweet, David. I always think that was the reason why she married you.", she said while giving David a smile. This smile wasn't the one that he was always expected from her.

"I don't like the fake smile Rainbow Dash, I want the Rainbow that has always been cocky, competitive and what ever personality Twilight told me. Don't be like that, I still love you. So come here and give me a hug, just be a little bit gentle this time.", David said while trying to use all of his strength, beating the pain and spreading his arms as wide as he could to offer her a hug. Tears were forming in her eyes, those were the tears of happiness instead of sadness. Nopony in her life has offered her this kind of love before, she was hoping this day would come and it finally did. She walked towards David slowly and hugged him gently. The hug seemed like it was going on for a long time, they broke up and hug and this somehow sparked something in Rainbow's mind.

"Oh! I forgot to show you this. I found this thing laying next to you when we carry you away. It looks like some kind of rock or something like that. Why don't you take a look and figure what this is?", Rainbow said and took a piece of metal and showed it to David.

"This looks like something from a sci-fi movie. Or maybe this is a some kind of key to something. I'll ask Twilight and check some books for the answer. But for now, call someone and get me out of this bed, I need to feel my feet again.", he said and put the piece down, 'Weird looking thing.'
