Fallout Equestria: Coureurs de Bois

Seventy years ago the bombs dropped and the end of days fell upon the land. The Equine civilization's dimwitted march to the edge had reached its climax and all those pulled along in the current of history plummeted into the boiling cauldron bellow.

Yet those who were independent enough to fight against the current found that there would indeed be many days to come, and that each new day would offer a new bounty of opportunities. However, the independently minded rarely wish to cooperate and any society they form will be disorderly at best.

The newly restored Kingdom of Quebuck is one such society. Always alienated, both culturally and geographically, from Equestria, they have been fighting against the tide of history for a millennia. Having been already ravaged by the war, the region was largely spared from the fires of the bombs, allowing it to claim to be the last bastion of civilization. However, its strength also acts like a lighthouse; beaconing for all to come near, and in the wasteland all who come near seek only conquest.

Thus it stands, a kingdom divided by vendettas and personal ambition, surrounded by hordes, and infiltrated by monsters. This is a society on the brink. This is a society in need of a hero.

This was a disappointing April Fools joke BTW, I wrote this up three years ago and have since dropped the idea.
