The Conversion Bureau: Suddenly, a Mare!
Today is a really boring day, first is that three of my best friends went travelling to baltimore since thursday for some kind of convention, they were bronies, but i'm not talking about the type of bronies who admires the show or likes it like some sort of hobby, i'm talking about hardcore bronies, they don't like the show...They LOVE it, that's why i'm kinda of an asshole towards them and YES i'm an hater, following on... My roommate is busy working on the big city and for last i'm having the BIGGEST hangover someone's body could ever witness to feel, like i'm so freaking sick that if i manage to get out of bed today, not only would be a miracle because i am kind of a lazy douche but cause' i could throw up in the same instant any moment now
All of this headache must be from the quantity of alchohol i drank on last night party, i don't even remember whatever the fuck happened after i took a row of 6 shots vodka, yes you heard it,6 consecutive shots of vodka, god might had blessed my liver after all of that, or celestia... Well it's kinda hard explaining it all by now but 2 years ago a giant anomaly-thingy appeared on the middle of the pacific ocean next to the hawaiian islands, from it emerged an magical land named equestria, and the most strange thing is that it's a land inhabited by ponies, freaking ponies everywhere, it seemed that the show MLP was a real deal and tried to warn us about an magical apocalipse and the only way of escaping it was converting into ponies, that's why my friends went travelling, they converted into ponies 3 months ago and the "herd" kept expanding, not only into common population, homeless people, celebrities, even media and politics, the news said that in 4 more years the entire world will already be converted and that equestria will have already 92% of earth covered by the "bubble" as they called.
Of course that would be people that would go against the idea of leaving everything behind and giving up their humanity, such ideals shared by the religious groups and etc, leading to the creation of radical groups such as the HLF that try literally destroy ponydom and save humanity's last breath. As for my opinion as "professional hater" of the show i must assume that i was completely shocked by the news that everything i disliked the most was real and was coming to my world to play a little revenge on me but with time i grew up with it and my worries faded away, yes it was a real emotional roller coaster but yet it became normal seeing such cenarios as ponies walking in the streets and pony markets and restarants opening in the street i live.
But enough chat, i need to focus on getting off of whatever i was laying on, "note to self", i thought, "never throw a party in an monday".
Aaagh damnit, examinating my room now it seemed that all my things are wrecked, at least the door still seemed to stand up in the mess, there's alchohol smell everywhere and coke spilled all over the floor just with some clothes and a... sex doll? Oh well. Gabriel, my roommate, is gonna probably kill me if he sees the apartament like this, i need to get on my feet quicker as possible.
I stretched out my arm the most possible so i could at least see it, i saw some bruises but nothing abnormal, i looked down, still hhad the same clothes from last night, that's okay, black t-shirt & jeans, my legs were hurting like hell but i still could stretch them a little bit more, i looked to the floor to see that i was laying on my cushion but he was taken off my bed, at least he was still intact aside from that, i looked at my surroudings a little more, my Linkin Park posters were all shreded to pieces on the wall but THANKS GOD that my CD on the top of the table was still in one piece...
I pushed my hands on the edges of the cushion and slowly pushed upwards and as i do that i looked around the room and saw outside the window that the sun was still waking up in the horizon, so that was a good signal. It's good to have an apartament in one of the biggest downtown buildings on the city, even if that means that we have to pay an stupidly high-priced renting, meaning that one of us had to work on an really stressful office job, that's why gabriel pratically spends from midnight to 8 am, working on the industrial site of the city... Still, it's cool to see the sun fade away and come back another day to shine in our great city.
Talking about gabriel... I think i should really look after an clock right now, as soon as i got up on my feet i went running to the living room passing throught a small hall full of passed out people, or destroyed furniture and some of gabriel's collection of raw fish. I quickly got there and looked around.
"Okay... Let's see", i thought, "Not too much damage, shredded paper on the floor, a shirtless man on the fish tank... That is also out of water and fish, dont wanna know why... Aaaand...", as i were looking around i finally found a clock that was hanging suspiciouslly under a wet rope, as i were about to push the rope, i felt something shaking on the top part of the apartment's roof but i pushed the rope anyway since i didn't care and... SPLAAASH.
A bucket ful of water drowned onto splashing water all over me and the rest of the floor that was still intact from the party.
"Well, that wasn't worthy" i murmered to myself while looking at the wet floor, i knew that probably, by judging the time i would see in the clock right now, gabriel would be coming anytime soon and i still have to clean all of this mess.
"Let's see, what time is it?", i paused a little after looking at the half-broken clock at my hand. It said 7 AM, FREAKING 7 AM, i started freaking running around the rooms searching for a broom to start cleaning everything, "It's freaking 7 AM!!! Gabriel must be coming any minute now, and the apartament looks like a freaking barn full of passed out alchoholic pigs!"
I started running around the rooms, grabbing everything broken that i could see and throwing it in an trash can nearby, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED ON THIS PLACE LAST NIGHT ANYWAY?
I stopped a little and look at gabriel's desk, there i was his laptop that he usually used to say in touch with his family on San Francisco, i took it with me to my room and looked at the hour counting on the bottom of the screen
"07:59", i sighed, there is no way in earth i could clean up this mess before he comes in. As i was about to clean out some of the pudding that was stuck on the laptop front, i acidentally clicked on an icon to play an CD that was already in it, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARLPT5rKjWo) and an soothing old melody began playing.
I start reclining myself on the chair i was sitting on as i heard the song ending, but then suddenly i felt a little bump on my back, i looked behing to see something streching out of my shirt. I started running to the bathroom to check out what it was just to top with an odd big-looking cardboard box blocking the second little hallway of the apartament, as i went expectioning the object wondering who would had brought this here, i came acroos an unfamiliar logo on it's sides
I ignored the fact that the box was empty with a little scent of smell of what would be grape, i kicked the box to a side and rushed to the bathroom door.
After cleaning my face in the sink i lokked at my face trying to fnd something wrong...
"Okay, let's see... no bruises, still ginger, my beautiful green eyes are still here...", as i kept expectioning myself i forgot about the bump in my shirt's back, i slowly took my shirt off and backed up on the mirror
When my eyes came across the thing that stuck on my back i almost yelped back in fright, trying to hold my panic i slowly fingered what would appear to be an entire serum sticked to my back with the same logo i found on the box of the hallway. I tried to push it off my skind but it was no use, after some other tries, i pushed with all my might and the thing almost jumped off my back.
It was more like it jumped off itself as if were an type of mechanism, when i put it closer to my eyes to examinate it i felt an extreme push on my mind and i immediatly fainted on the floor as i were hearing the song's melody ending with the choir of the singer...
"Make her a member of the midnight crew..."

Formless. Mindless. Careless. That's what i was, floating around without any care in the world, going back and forth in an spaceless tunnel of unhearable thoughts, ideals, interests, hates, i didn't know what was happening i just knew that i existed but also didn't...

"Mikael!"
Suddenly i started hearing whispers, at first they were undecipherable, but then i realized that they were somehow calling my name, i could hear them but i couldn't reach or find from where they were coming...
I stopped floating for a second an felt my entire body re-materializing in an glowing fashionate way, and then i saw vivids and grassy landscapes form before my eyes, such glourious view could crush any soldier's apathetic vision on the world and fill him with happy tears. Out of the sudden i felt the urge to jump on that beautiful paradise, it sorta felt like...Home?
In the distance i saw a circle of greek columns followed by an welcoming breeze that vanished the small flower garden that lies in front of the pillars, i could sense the presence of an destroying amount of heat in the columns that made me fall down to my knees, i was nearly on the brink of crying when from the intense amout of pain crawling through my body when the heat suddenly stopped, i looked up confused and almost screamed of shock from what i saw.
"Greeting, my little pony...", the giant white winged figure greeted me.
"W-what?", i shook a little at my response, from not knowing what was happening and what should i do.
"Oh it seems that you're still a little disoriented after your conversion", the figure shook her head with concern after looking at me.
I somehow knew this creature, my friends kept talking about her and she appeared on TV once. "Oh, you must be the Celestia goddess- wait did you just said CONVERSION?", i yelled trying to get on my feet just to realize that i was still on my knees.
"Yes, you must be here because you choosed to become a newfoal"
"No, no, no! This must be a mistake! I didn't even get to drink the potion, how did i got converted?'', i answered in an worrysome tone still trying to get up.
Suddenly i finally had a punch of sudden realization on my mind, the serum, the box! It all makes sense now! Someone must had sneaked in on the party last night and tried to convert people stealthly, and they got me on the backfire.
"I'm so reckless! Damnit, damnit!!! Damnit, damnit, damnit, damnit, damnit...", i thought in anguish passing a few minutes in the same place...
I was frozen, not a word coming through my panicked and frowned mouth,in my face was stamped an surprised and also horrified vision.
Panic... I was in panic. Not the panic that you feel when you're chased down by a murder, not the panic of having a monster behing your bed, not the panic that you feel when you lose your parents, when you are being bullied, when your favorite hero dies or when your team loses, no... I felt the panicking of dying.
The simplest thought of going away in the point of no return, saying goodbye to this world, to your friends, saying farewell to what you are, i felt dying because i could lose my feelings about the world, change completely my personality, my essence, my mind, what i actually am, what made me pretty much myself... Who am i anyway? Would the world miss me? Would my own friends miss the "old me"? What if i change completely, start from the scrach, completely forget about the old mikael?
I started sobbing slowly, paralysed, not moving once, my eyes twitching while trying to hold some tears... All in vain... I shifted to a more comfortable position and started crying.
I knew clearly what was happening, i knew what was coming, i was forced to change without choice, and probably forever, they converted me without my consent, i dont want this! I don't want to die! I-
"Here, it's okay..."
Something that i didn't expected happened, something that brought me disgust and now pain was actually trying to bring me back joy... Celestia was hugging me...
I was an alchoholic, crazy loonatic, party-man and an hater and she was an interdimensional god princess, and still, she wanted to calm me down and receive me into her kind.
"I'm sorry if we caused you harm, it wasn't my intention, i don't know who converted you but i'm sure he doesn't understand truly our ideals..."
"Feel better?", i slowly lifted my tear stained face and nodded, i could see that the bright smile that she gave me in that moment was really sincere, she was letting me go when i reached out for her wing and grabbed it.
"What about me? The human part of me, am i going to be the same?", i looked at her with an frightened frown.
"I'll make sure your conscience doesn't change what you are and what defines you but you must know that the laws of ponydom will reach you, you're a pony now, be bright, be gentle, and welcome as many friends on your life as you can!"
I almost wanted to puke at what she said, it was like watching one of those episodes of the show but live, but i needed to face that, because is what my life resumes as now, even if i try to hide, those traits still gonna try to get me, might as well live with it...
I felt an tremor below my feet and an tingling sensation of dissapearing, my dream started to become hallucinations again, i was waking up!
"Wait, before you go...", she lifted her wings around me in an fashion and welcoming way, almost like a hug
"Welcome To The Herd!"
That yell was the last thing i could remember before everything faded to white...

So yeah, this is my first fanfiction ever, the first chapter was pretty crappy but i improved to give ya the second, sorry about the gramar errors though, i might be good in english pronunciation but i suck at writing ( i'm a brazilian) so thanks for reading
