A rare moon

Selena, disguised as Rarity, stepped out of the school house, leaving a panting, and smiling like an idiot, Cheerilee on the floor. She made sure she would be alright, repairing her clothes and putting them back on Cheerilee when they were done with their, ahem, activities.

One thing she had added, though, was a mark only she could see on the upper part of the hand. The symbol was designed, actually, to reveal itself to all once Nightmare returned. It was designed to look like the symbol ponies used on nightmare night, and was colored a bright silver to represent moon light, or black on ponies with white skin, or something similar.

Selena sighed. I really need somepony just to talk to, she thought to herself. Fortunately, she knew two ponies who would listen.

She began to walk to Ponyville, walking by ponies in her Rarity guise who gave her waves in greeting, which she returned. If there was one thing good she could say about ponies in general, it's that they trusted their own easily. After a short walk, she made it to her destination. She knocked on the door.

"Coming," a male voice said from the other side before the door opened a few seconds later. Standing at the door was a green pegasus stallion with brown hair that had red accents. he had on a sleeveless, white shirt with knee length, brown cargo pants.

"Hello, Red," Selena said. Red, as well as his room mate, the other pony she wanted to talk to, were unique among other ponies she had met. Upon meeting the two of them shortly after they moved here from Canterlot, she had tried to make them her servants, but, as it turns out, both of them were in a part of the guard they refused to tell about, but had given them impressive mental capabilities, including being able to resist an alicorn grade spell. A first after that, she had avoided them at all costs, but when she had run during the last winter wrap up, as the three of them had been stuck on the same group, she had been forced to tell them why she did that. Needless to say, they were both pissed, understandably so, but, to Selena's surprise, told her they'd help her with bringing Nightmare back. When she asked them why, Lone, Red's room mate had responded.

"That group of the guard we were in?" he asked. "Can't tell you much, really, but I can say we were a secret division that Celestia doesn't know about, and we knew of that part of history. So, our ancestors went underground, and have been recruiting to give Nightmare, and her daughter, as some of our ancestors, mine included, were a part of your personal guard, an army before her return, and we'd consider it our duty to help you."

He had quickly added that he, on his part, at least, did not mean giving her dick when she wanted it. If she was in heat and he was the only one nearby, sure, but not at a whim.

"Oh, hey, Rarity," Red said. "What do you need?"

"I just want to talk. May I come in?" Over the last three months, the three of them had become close enough friends that Selena had insisted they not call her any special title.

"Yeah," Red said. "Lone's getting supper ready."

Selena smiled. She always did like Lone's cooking. "Then it looks like I'm staying for a while." With that, she walked into the house, a simple two story house with two bedrooms, a guest room, and one bathroom per floor. As she did so, she dropped her disguise.

She made her way to the kitchen, where she saw Lone, a unicorn stallion with black skin, as well as hair and tail with red and orange accents that gave his hair and tail the appearance of being on fire who wore a green, short sleeved shirt with a pair of jeans, at the stove, with a large pot of boiling water on it. "Hello, Lone."

"Hey, Selena," he said, not taking his attention off the food he was preparing. "How are you doing?"

"Oh, I'm fine Lone. What about you?" she asked as she sat down on the couch in the living room, which was right next to the kitchen.

"Just fine," he replied. "Hope you like spaghetti, as that's what I'm fixing. Assuming you're staying for supper, that is?" One of the few things she liked about Lone was that he fixed supper early. Something about letting the food stew in it's own juices, which, she had to admit, did increase the flavor slightly.

"I am," Selena said just as Red sat down on the seat opposite her. "So, what have you two been up to?"

Red shrugged. "Not that much, really."

"Yeah, we've really just been waiting for the preparations for you know what," Lone said. "You know, so we can be backstage and set a trap for you know who."

"Well, let's hope the two of you are with me on decorating the town hall," Selena said.

"Yeah, us too," Red said. "Oh, I just remembered," he said, jumping up off the seat. "I got to see Rainbow, guys. I'll be back tomorrow."

"See ya," Lone said. Once he had left, he added, "Probably going to buck her brains out like every week since you brought her in to the fold."

Selena chuckled. "Probably," she said. "I'm a little surprised you aren't curious where I was before I came over."

Lone shrugged from his location in the kitchen. "In all honesty, Selena, it's not really my business. Whatever it is, if you wanted to say, you probably would have said so."

"I guess," Selena said.

A few minutes of silence passed between the two of them, the only noise being that of the boiling water, before Lone said, "Selena, I've been wondering something."

"What's that, Lone?"

"Why is it you tried to, for lack of a better term, enslave Red and I when we met a few months ago?"

Selena blushed, both in embarrassment, and from a feeling she hadn't had in a while. "Do you really want to know?"

"It's something I've been curious about for a while," he said. "So, why?"

"Well," she said, as she got up and began walking to the kitchen, "Red was actually collateral. I actually wanted you."

Lone turned around, letting Selena see his face. He had normal looks, for the most part. The only actual thing of note was a small scar over his right eye, which was colored teal. "Why," he asked.

She blushed a little more as she said, "Because, well, those I try to bring into my service. . . gah, this is harder then I thought."

"Why's that," Lone asked.

"Because you and Red are the only ones to be able to resist my control. Those I do control, well, are ones I find," she said before her voice lowered to a barely audible, "attractive, and I'm afraid of them rejecting me."

Though what she said was a whisper, his proximity to her allowed Lone to hear. He smiled, and took Selena's hand in his own, getting a look of surprise from her. "Selena, you didn't need to do that with me," he said. "Even when I saw you as Rarity, I thought you were the most beautiful mare I had ever seen, and seeing the real you didn't hurt at all."

"Really?" she asked.

"Yeah," Lone said. "You're smart, beautiful, and you're a great mare. If I had seen you in the market, or someplace else, and I knew you were single, I would try to get your attention. I was just a littler nervous. You are a princess, after all."

Selena smiled, and lifted one of her hands to Lone's cheek. "Thank you, Lone. I assume that''s why you only, well, did me when I was in heat?"

"Yeah," he said. "Unless it was needed, I didn't want to have sex with a mare I'm not in a relationship with. I just didn't think it'd be right."

"Well, thank you for that, Lone," Selena said. She then did something Lone didn't expect. She leaned forward and kissed him, sliding her tongue in his mouth and putting her remaining arm on his back, the one on his face remaining there.

His eyes widened at first, but, eventually, they closed as he embraced Selena and the two began to wrestle with their tongues.

Eventually, the two pulled back and opened their eyes, and looked at each other, smiles of happiness son their faces as they looked at the other. "So, I guess this counts as our first date," Lone said.

"Yes, I imagine it does," Selena said with a small chuckle. "And I wouldn't want it any other way, Lone."
