Strong's Love Life

A month had gone by since our arrival, Principal Celestia had explained where we were and how things worked here. They had never heard of a crazy old scientist by the name of Eggman or the chaos emeralds.

We were on Earth, as we were told, and the only thing close to talking animals here were parrots. At first, we seemed like outcasts here, but Pinkie introduced us to her friends and the entire school. She was quite the bright and chipper girl, always full of happiness and joyful thoughts, always finding ways to help people with parties.

Then there was Applejack, the honest apple loving farm girl, like her she had a younger sibling who she was close to besides Big Mac. Man, if you ever challenge her to a cider drinking contest, make sure you bring a diaper. There were a few times I had won, but most of the time it'd be her.

Next was Rainbow Dash, she hates dresses but loves sports, I swear she's related to Sonic in some ways. Lemmie tell you why: this girl can run like a living bullet just being shot out of a gun, she's always looking for a challenge and new people to go against, and she'll stand up for others like Fluttershy.

Ah, Fluttershy, her name suits the way she is, always acting shy around others. Under all that shyness though, she is a really sweet girl who loves animals. Sometimes I'd help her at the shelter, most of the time would be tending the animals, but if we're on brakes we'd play with them.

And finally, Rarity, a girl with the voice of a sweet English mother and skin white as snow. Besides her looks, she's very talented with clothes, fabrics, sewing, and designing. Hell, she did a very generous thing by finding the guys and I a home here in Canterlot, plus she got us jobs working for Apple Jack on her farm.

Things were great here, sure we miss Mobius and the old gang, but who says we can't have fun while were here? Principal Celestia was kind enough to allow us to join her school, I thought it'd be a great opportunity to learn more about this world and what it has to offer, plus free education.

And here's the cool thing, I love music and the guys and I learned how to play, we even made our own band: The Untamables. I figured the name would suit us since who has the balls to try and go against a werehog, a fox, and a black panther? Speaking of music, the school decided to do a musical showcase, we thought it'd be a great opportunity to show everyone how good we were.

I like metal, Camo loves rock, and Night finds punk-rock peaceful, but sometimes we'll throw in some modern music. Today we were just chilling in the music room with the girls, Sunset was with them of course, I'm surprised that after what they told us what she did in the past they still forgave her. I'm cool with her, if she really wanted to redeem herself then we support her, sometimes we'll invite her over to the house to hang.

"Yo, Rainbow, how's that guitar coming along?"

"Great, just gotta tune a few more strings," I kicked my feet out while Rainbow worked with her guitar, Camo and Night sat at the table playing poker. For a guy who grew up in a village, he was really kicking Camo's ass, I thought it was funny how many times he lost to Night....I think this was the fourth time.

I watched some guy named 'Sacksquatch34' on YouTube playing 'The Last of Us', he was running away screaming "no!" at some fat clicker till it caught him. Kinda weird how he's a Sasquatch playing games without having scientists on his ass......meh.

"Heh, that crazy Squatch and his games," I put my phone away and placed my arms behind my head, laying back to relax, Sunset sat next to me on her phone. She always liked sitting next to me and I have no idea why, maybe it was the fact I was kind to her on day one, I don't know.

"Wow, man I think I grew a foot taller since then," she closed her phone and got up, looking at the clock before walking over to the door.

"I'll see you guys at lunch, I volunteered to show some new students around school, I hope they'll like the new more before they hear the rumors."

"Cool, hope it goes well."

"Thank's Strong, see you."

"Bye," she closed the door as the girls gave me some looks, "What? Do I got something in my teeth?"

"Darling, I think it's pretty obvious," I raised an eyebrow.

"About.....?"

"About how Sunset likes you, sugar cube, I can tell from a mile away."

"Girls come on, I thought we were over this, she doesn't like me in that way."

"Oh really? Then explain why she sits with you everytime she gets the chance to?" I shrugged at Rainbow's question.

"I dunno, maybe she feels safe around me after the Fall Formal," I got up to stretch my legs, popping my spine as I stretched.

"That could be a possibility, but do you ever see her act "strange" around you?"

"Such as.....?"

"Why she keeps that photo of you guys, or when you play your music she just so happens to be walking by." I shrugged again.

"Like I said, Rainbow, I dunno, never really the type of guy to know all about crushes or other love junk," then my stomach growled. "But I do know a certain juicy steak is waiting for me in the cafeteria." I waved to the girls and walked out.

"I can tell the cafeteria is gonna need another order of meat after he's----oh mother fu--!!!" Night chuckled as he laid down a royal flush.

[Minutes Later]

I walked the halls for a bit before lunch started, I played some music on my phone to pass the time, ah.......good old Eminem.

I neared the cafeteria doors and decided to lean back and relax, listening to 'The Real Slim Shady' to chill. His music seemed to get me, I always felt relaxed when I heard his songs, sure I love metal but I never said I didn't like other music.

Besides Eminem, I like Tenacious D, Justin Timberlake, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Dr. Dre, KISS, and John Legend. I closed my eyes while leaning against the wall, the bass booming in my ears each time it kicked up, I thought back to what the girls were saying earlier.

There was no way Sunset was falling for me, sure I helped her most of the time we were here, and maybe I invited her over tons of times when she'd have shitty days, but can you blame a guy for being nice? I get she was a massive bitch to everybody before, but to me who gives a fuck? I did some fucked up shit in my past.

But the whole thing about Sunset wanting to change takes guts, Shadow used to be bit of an asshole but he changed, took days but we bonded over guns. As for Sunset, we love lots of things, music, food, art, we even like the same vehicles.

Speaking of her......

"Strong, hello?" I opened an eye as Sunset tapped my shoulder, she seemed to have three girls with her.

"Yeah?" I asked unplugging my earphones, "I was listening to Eminem before you interrupted me."

"Sorry..." she apologized, awkwardly rubbing her arm getting a chuckle from me as I stood up, towering over the three.

"Oh my god....," the blue girl gasped.

"Oh! I almost forgot," Sunset said remembering why she interrupted me. "I wanted to introduce you to the new students, I figured someone like you could help."

"Sure," I turned to the three, "Names Strong, Strong The Werehog, nice to meet ya." I shook their hands, the blue one was amazed how tall I was.

"Are you a giant?"

"Nope, just a little growth spurt I got from pops, so what's your name?"

"I'm Sonata Dusk, and these are my sisters!" I observed the purple girl's clothes.

"Nice clothes."

"Thanks, I'm Aria Blaze," we fist bumped as the Cheeto puff haired girl got in-between us.

"And I'm Adagio Dazzle, a pleasure to meet you," she said with a wink. I swear I could feel Sunset staring daggers at her behind me.

"Like wise, so Sunset," I said facing her, "what did ya need help with?"

"Well, these three were interested in the musical showcase," she said pointing her thumb at the poster. "And since you and your friends are in it, maybe you can explain a little bit of it?" I nodded.

"Sure," I turned to the girls, "So what do you three wanna know?"

"Like tacos?"

"Do you like punk music?"

"Or maybe tell us what drives you to play music?" I rubbed my chin at those questions, even though two out of three weren't about the showcase.

"One, I'm not much of a taco fan, but my pal Camo makes the best tacos. Two, yeah I like it, I bet if you ask Night he'll recommend some music. And three, I guess it's being in this environment, I dunno?"

*GROWL*

"Oops, sorry about that, I think my stomach knows it's steak day in the cafeteria." I walked through the cafeteria doors waving at the four behind me.

[A Few Minutes Later]

I munched happily on my steak, the juices dripping from the cooked meat onto my lunch tray.

"Dude, go easy on the steak, it's not going anywhere." I shrugged before tossing said steak into the air before catching it with my jaws.

"You know me, Camo, my animal instincts go nuts when my nose picks up this scent." I tore off another piece and stuffed my face, Night drank some of his tea while listening to some calming music in peace. Camo held a sandwich with his mouth as he tinkered with some gadgets, since we got here he's been trying to set up some communication back home.

"Hey guys," I took another bite from my steak and gave the girls a small friendly wave.

"Sup girls," they sat down as Sunset sighed sitting next to me, "Hey Sunny, what's got you down?"

"You remember those girls I introduced you to earlier?" I nodded, "Well, I think they might've heard a bit about me."

"How?" She shrugged.

"I don't know, but something was off about them," hearing this made me raise an eyebrow.

"Like what?"

"They seemed really interested in the musical showcase, plus when I wanted to take a looked at Adagio's necklace, she grabbed my hand like I was trying to strangle her." I shrugged.

"Well, then that's their business, same with their necklaces," Pinkie raised her hand in excitement.

"Oh! Oh! I bet they're from a different planet full of aliens and talking animals and a weird evil person!"

"No, Pinkie, that's us, I think they're outta town," I replied rolling my eyes.

"But you have to admit, darling, I thought you were from Manehatten with that lovely accent you have."

"Yeah, I know I sound like I sell bagels from a cart on a street corner every Sunday, but I get that from my pops."

*BUZZ*BUZZ*

I took out my phone as I got a text from Max, he was outside with Applebloom and her friends, he asked if he could hang out with them after school. I replied telling him 'yes' and put my phone away.

"Welp, looks like I'll be downstairs on the couch today."

"Why is that, sugar cube?"

"Because my bro just texted me asking if he could hang with your sis and her friends, speaking of which, you should be getting a text right about......."

*BUZZ*

"Now," she took out her phone, and to her amazement, I was correct.

"My sister does seem to be takin a fancy to your little brother, by the way, she want's to know if he can come over to our farm." I shrugged.

"If it'll give me time to relax on for a bit, sure," she texted her back and put her phone away.

"Alright then, but Y'all better be ready for work this weekend, I got a lot of apples that need to be picked by Monday."

"Granny making her special apple pie?"

"Eyup, with a side of apple cider to wash it down," I licked my lips while rolling my tummy, Granny Smith's famous apple pie was my favorite. Just thinking of it makes my mouth water......

"Uh...Strong...you're drooling," I wiped my mouth and ate the rest of my steak.

"Sorry, just make sure to save the guys and I a slice," she rolled her eyes with a small chuckle as the cafeteria doors shot open. "Dude! Out of all the things from the green fog to students getting pissed at each other, you only go for the singing?!" I shrugged, "UGH!" Camo groaned face palming, truth is, I thought their singing was spot on. Especially a certain Cheeto puff haired girl.........NO! Bad Strong, don't think about that stuff, gotta find out what's going on....

*BUZZ*

I whipped out my phone to see a notification from YouTube, I clicked on it to show another video by Sacksquatch34, this time he was playing 'Little Nightmares'. Just like last time, he was screaming his head off only this time from a sea of fat Asians crawling after him.

"Ha! Ah.....hearing him scream never get's old..." I started walking away with Camo and Night at my sides, Camo kept going on about some 'voodoo hoodoo' magic, Night could sense it too...

[Adagio's POV]

After we had gotten just about everyone in the cafeteria fighting, I turned to the girls with an evil grin.

"This is good, just enough to get people to do our bidding," Sonata squealed from the excitement.

"This is so cool! We're gonna get our powers back!!!"

"It's just a small dose, Sonata," Aria replied rolling her eyes in her usual mood.

"Even though it's a small dose, this is a great start, by the way, do either of you see Strong?"

"Found him!" Sonata pointed him out, I turned around expecting to see him and his friends argue, but they were leaving the cafeteria while he was on his phone.

"Hm.....he doesn't seem to be affected by our singing, fascinating...." I said rubbing my chin.

"Maybe he has bad hearing, I know how that feels," Sonata replied by pulling out a.....taco from behind her ear? Gross!

"Sonata, where on Earth did you get that?" I asked getting a shrug from our youngest sister.

"I got hungry, don't you have a stash of---" I covered her mouth and grit my teeth.

"You keep quiet about that, just eat your taco."

"Yay!" She said happily after I pulled my hand away, I turned back to Strong as he was gone.

"I'll have to discuss things with you later, my little werehog...." I grinned while the others argued with each other, maybe this place isn't so bad....

[My POV]

"I'm just saying dude, those three seem a little suspicious."

"Exactly, thank you Camo," Sunset throwing her hands up before turning to me. "Strong, you guys are from Mobius, right?"

"Last time I checked, yeah why?" I said nodding.

"When you were there, did you ever encounter three girls on any of your adventures?"

"Nope," I shook my head, "The only weird things we've ever dealt with were Eggman and his crazy robots."

"Oh yeah.....hey Strong, remember the time we fought the 'Eggtopus'?" I chuckled.

"Ha! Yeah, that thing only took a few hits before slipping on its own ink......man I had to shower after that."

"Guys! Remember why we're here, we got to deal with those girls, remember?"

"Oh yeah.....say when is Twilight getting here? I swear we've been out here for thirty-minutes now..." Sunset shrugged.

"I sent her a letter in my book, but I bet she's now getting it---" all of a sudden the horse statue glowed as Twilight and Spike bounced out of the portal.

"Now."

"Twilight!" The girls ran to her as Sunset offered her help, Twilight hesitated at first, but she gladly took it.

"Hi girls," she turned to us, "Hey guys."

"Sup."

"Greetings, Twilight."

"Good to see you again." She smiled for a few seconds before pulling out a book similar to Sunset's.

"I got some bad news about those girls...."

"....And that's what happened," Twilight said finishing her story in Equestria before Spike popped out of her bag with a dog treat.

"Now she's Princess of Friendship, plus she has her own castle," hearing this made Rarity get in Twilight's face.

"You have a castle?!" She backed up after realizing her actions, I just chuckled.

"So, the alicorn is a Princess, that's cool," I earned a smack from Camo, "Hey! What was that for?"

"Can you be any more of an ass?"

"But I...nevemind, so Twi," I said facing her, "Care to explain where Cheeto puff and her sisters came from?"

"Who?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

"He means the girls," Camo said cutting in.

"Oh, well here," she pulled out her book and flipped to a random page, showing us three seahorses that resembled three familiar girls.

"So....they're seahorse's?"

"Not exactly, they're three legendary sirens from Equestria who were banished here eons ago." I raised an eyebrow.

"And they just start havoc now?"

"I guess, before I came here this world had no magic, but it seems my crown has filled this world with it." I started to think back on the night we arrived here.....

"You know, this may sound stupid, but I think that rainbow blast that brought us here might've peaked their interest."

"Hm...that could be a possibility," I merely shrugged.

"Could be, couldn't, I dunno but this seems really sketchy to me." I drank some coffee as Rainbow Dash whipped out her phone.

"Speaking of magic, look what you missed after you left," she showed Twilight a video of her going pony in the band room.

"Then I guess I was right, now where would the sirens be?" Pinkie Pie immediately raised her hand like a little school girl.

"Oh! Oh! There's a small party being held in the gym for anyone that's participating, maybe they'll be there." I patted Pinkie's head and tossed her a cupcake.

"Good girl, Pinkie, now let's go deal with these three, time the three of us got back into action....."

[Canterlot High Gymnasium]

After riding my Harley back to the school, we walked in the back doors to see most of the school here, I could feel some glares from the other bands. I sniffed the air, taking a strong whiff of apple cider, I licked my lips with glee as I spotted a table full of food and drinks.

"I'll....be right back....I'm gonna go investigate over here..." I walked over to the table, the sweet smell of cider flooded my nostrils and my mouth. I grabbed a cup and poured myself some, taking a swig before shaking my head.

"Whoa, now that's quite the kick," I said before chugging down some more.

[Adagio's POV]

I peered out the crowd, almost every student was here for the battle of the bands, I grinned evily once I spotted Strong by the punch bowl.

"Wow, he's actually chugging down that stuff," Aria said sounding a tad surpised.

"Told ya I knew good fruit punch!" Sonata piped in, creating an arguement between my two sisters.

"It still tastes terrible."

"Does not!"

"Does too."

"Does not!!"

"Does too."

"Does--"

"GIRLS! Please, just drop it, if he likes it he likes it, deal with it." I shouted getting them to shut up, I turned back to Strong spotting Sunset talking with him.....something inside me burned seeing him talking to her....

"Adagio?" I quickly snapped out of my thoughts as Sonata got my attention.

"What?"

"Were you staring at Strong?" I crossed my arms.

"N-no, that's stupid, why would I ever waste my time looking at him?" Aria grinned seeing me get mad.

"Oh really? Because you seemed really happy to meet him earlier." I growled getting in her face.

"And what exactly are you implying, dear sister?" She raised her hands in defense.

"That you like him," Sonata said piping in, I rolled my eyes at my younger sister's thoughts.

"Sonata, that is the most ridiculous thing you have ever said in your entire life."

"Okay then, oh, is Sunset about to kiss him on the cheek?" My eyes went wide hearing this, he wasn't going to allow that demon to kiss my---wait, why should I care?

"Very funny, Sonata, I know when you're lying." I expected her to do her usual 'you got me face', but she shook her head and pointed behind me.

"No, really, I think she's moving in for a kiss!" I rolled my eyes deciding to play along.

"Okay, Sonata, I believe---" my eyes went wide once I saw Sonata was telling the truth, Sunset was about to plant one on him.

"I'll be right back...." I growled walking towards them....

[My POV]

"Strong I'm so sorry!" Sunset apologized for the fifth time now, the reason why was the fact that when I was chugging down cider she spooked me, making the drink spill onto my shirt.

"Again, Sunset, I said it was alright, it was just an accident," she kept looking down while cleaning the stain, luckily for her I didn't see her blushing.

"I-I know, I just felt bad for scaring you, that's all." I chuckled patting her side.

"Don't sweat it, Sunny, accidents happen, just gonna need to clean this, no biggie." Then I spotted Adagio walking over to us........I could sense that she was pissed.....

"Ah, Strong, fancy meeting you here, come here often?"

"Uh....for gym and practice, yeah--"

"Ha! Oh, my Strong, you are a funny boy~" I rubbed my neck awkwardly.

"Uh.....thanks...I guess?" Sunset was watching all of this, a big hint of jealousy was going through her head right now.

"So......have any plans after school?" I was about to answer when Sunset cut in between us.

"Actually he does, he has practice and he barely has time to relax, so I maybe tomorrow or never." She wrapped an arm around me, Adagio gave an awkward smile before rushing back to her sisters.

"But Sunset, Max is going over to AJ's for a bit, I have--"

"I know that, but she doesn't need to know, can't you see she's trying something?" I shrugged.

"Yeah, but that doesn't mean I can't at least get to know her before stopping their plans, does it?"

"Yes! That is exactly it, she's evil!" Sunset exclaimed throwing her arms up, I turned to Adagio, catching Sonata looking over at us before turning her head away.

"I know....but I'll get bored, plus even for an evil siren she's still new here, so maybe I can try to be nice to her at least."

"I hate to break up this little couple's moment for you two, but Twilight found a way to break the siren's spell," Rainbow Dash said cutting in, making Sunset's face go red.

"W-we're not a couple!" we walked over to the gang as the girls held hands.

"So, is this how they're gonna do it, hold hands and sing a song?" Camo shrugged pulling out a bucket of popcorn, "How did you....?"

"I always keep a spare at corny moments," unbeknownst to us, a certain toothpaste haired siren went gaga over Camo.

"I tell that we're not gonna join in this "magical" moment here?" We shook our heads as I grabbed some popcorn from Camo.

"Nope, just sit back and enjoy the show," I passed him some popcorn as the girls linked arms after Twilight got Adagio's attention...

"There's not going to be a battle of the bands!" Besides getting their attention, she also gained the whole gym's eyes on her. "Alright girls, let's do this........Friendship is magic!!!" After a few seconds, they opened their eyes as Rainbow Dash whispered to Twi. I was just trying to hold in my laughter, but after trying for a few more seconds I busted out laughing.

"Oh my god, hahaha!!! I-I'm really sorry but my god*SMACK* Hey!" I rubbed my head after Night smacked me.

"Don't laugh at this, so the plan didn't work, but that's no excuse to find any of this amusing."

"Oh he's fine, let him laugh," Adagio replied standing beside me before turning to the girls. "Talk about throwing the down gauntlet, this group is obviously serious about winning. A little cocky though, aren't they? Claiming there won't be a battle, seems they think they've already got this thing all locked up."

"Not if Trixie has anything to do with it!"

"Whatever Trixie, my band has way more of a chance of winning than you!"

"Y'all know the CH Crusaders are gonna win!" I spotted Max and motioned him over to me.

"What's going on here, bro?" He asked.

"Just stick with me, I think things are about to get ugly...." I grabbed Max's hand and began to back away slowly with the guys.

"Where are you going, Strong?" Adagio asked grabbing my other hand.

"Home, I think Max here has a sore stomach, right bro?"

"But I'm not---OOF!" I elbowed him in the stomach, giving him the 'I'm sorry' look before getting free of Adagio's grip.

"Yeah he's got a bad stomach ache...probably needs me to take him home now BYE!!!" I quickly left the building, leaving behind a grinning Adagio.

"Oh, don't worry, Strong, I'll make sure you "enjoy" this battle of the bands......"
