Chapter 4: Arrival

Previous Chapter

Days and nights have passed for the crew, and they didn't see a piece of land. And Rainbow was being patient to find that treasure island that Twilight was talking about since the first day of the voyage. But Squidward wasn't enjoying himself now. Everyday, he's been getting more fearful and losing his mind. And he's been starting to chew on things he shouldn't.

Anais sighed. "Rainbow, your friend is starting to get very impatient. And he's chewing on the rim of the ship."

"Don't worry, kid." Rainbow said. "Squidward will get over it sooner or later. Maybe he might calm down once we find that island."

"Isn't it weird that Rigby's studying for a history test while we're on this voyage?" Anais asked.

"I use to say that reading was for eggheads." Rainbow explained. "But I read this series of books called 'Daring Do', and I realized reading wasn't so bad after all." She turned to Squidward, who was now chewing a barrel. "I guess Squidward really misses home. But this is only for the poor. And for your family."

"It was hard being part of a poor family." Anais added. "But I have to doing this, just for them."

"I understand, Anais." Rainbow replied. "But at least we're giving parts of the treasure to the people who seriously need money."

Dipper finished writing in his journal and sighed. He walked up to the ship's telescope and found a huge piece of land. "Guys! I found something!

Mabel picked up Angel and ran to Dipper. Then she looking into the telescope and saw what Dipper saw. Then she ran to the bell and rang it. The rest heard the bell and ran on deck. Twilight and Sandy ran out of the kitchen.

"What is it?" Twilight asked seeing Dipper making a gesture telling her to come. She ran to Dipper and saw the big piece of land. She then checked the map and it matched the big island. "We made it! The treasure island!"

Squidward stopped chewing and cheering in joy. "Finally! After days of chewing on items I shouldn't, I get to get off this ship!"

"Not until we get what we needed and go home." Trixie said.

"I know!" Squidward yelled in joy.

Rigby ran to the wheel. "Alright, ship. Take us to that island." She spun the wheel which made it go left.

After they reached the island, they went off the boat seeing it's beauty.

"Be careful." Twilight said. "This place is filled with traps, dangerous creatures, and lots of things that might try to kill you." She got out the map and started walking.

The rest followed Twilight.

So, Twilight, is there a way to get to what we're looking for?" Lloyd asked.

"There are some carts at the entrance." Twilight answered. "But they sometimes take you to something dangerous."

Mabel looked around and saw lots of bones. "Something tells me that many people on this island before us didn't survive."

Angel was hiding in Dipper's bag trying not to get caught by anything that wants him for dinner. The crew suddenly saw two ways. One going left, and one going right. Twilight suggested that they should split up into groups. So Rainbow, Lloyd, Sandy, Twilight, Spongebob, Patrick, and Rigby went right, and Squidward, Trixie, Dipper, Mabel, Anais, and Angel went left.

"So, Trixie, why did you decide to join this crew?" Squidward asked.

"I needed a job." Trixie answered.

Anais turned to Trixie. "Would you fight ten hundred angry killer bees or five hungry bat ponies?"

"What kind of question is that?" Trixie asked.

"It's what my mom asked me before I left on this journey." Anais answered. "I chose angry bees. Why? I'm not afraid. So, choose wisely."

"I'll think about it." Trixie said.

Dipper heard many people speaking backwards. "Do any of you guys here some people speaking backwards?"

The rest heard it as well. And it was coming from behind a bush. They went to the bush and looked over. What they saw was many color-coated ponies, but what freaked them out the most was the way their mouths were. The strange ponies turned to them wearing confused faces.

"Everyone, stay still." Dipper whispered. "Something tells me that those weird ponies can sense fear in our hearts."

One of the ponies spoke a question backwards.

Trixie screamed in fear and ran away. The rest did the same, but Angel fell out of Dipper's bag. The strange ponies walked up to Angel, who was wearing a scared face. An idea popped into one of the ponies' head and talked to that other strange. The other ponies cheered backwards. Meanwhile, Squidward, Trixie, Dipper, Mabel, and Anais stopped running taking a breather.

Squidward suddenly had a thought in his head. "Where's Angel?"

Dipper checked his bag, and Angel wasn't there. "That's odd. He was in by bag minutes ago."

"If Angel isn't in Dipper's bag," Anais added. "Then he must be with-" Then she puts a shocked face on. "Oh no."

"Those weird ponies must have got him." Mabel said. "Or maybe he fell out when we ran."

"We have to go back!" Trixie suggested. "But not without help."

Meanwhile, the crew was waiting for the others to come. They've waited for minutes, not knowing where they are. Twilight turned and saw Squidward running to them.

Rainbow got up. "What took you so long? And where are the others?"

"We need...help." Squidward panted.

The crew puts on a shocked face. After being touched by Squidward's plead, they went to where Squidward and the others went. They then looked over a bush and saw the weird ponies dancing around Angel, who was tied on a spit.

"Oh no." Rigby added.

"What are those ponies?" Dipper asked.

"UzaPonies." Twilight answered. "One of the most strangest ponies of history."

"You might think they're cute, But don't let their cuteness fool you." Sandy added. "Sometimes they can be very dangerous once you get near them."

"I have to admit," Lloyd said. "They are very weird once you look at them twice."

"I know." Trixie replied. "It's looks like they're made of molten plastic."

"We just need someone to distract those ponies while we get Angel off that spit." Twilight said.

The crew then turned to Trixie, then push her into the UzaPonies' grounds. The UzaPonies turn to Trixie looking confused.

"Um, hello." Trixie stammered. "I'm T-Trixie Lulamoon and I'm here to be your friend." She smiled nervously.

The UzaPonies walked up to Trixie not knowing that Dipper walked out of the bush to get Angel. As he walked up close to the spit, Dipper got out a pocket knife and sliced the rope to free Angel.

"I'm sorry, Angel." Dipper whispered putting Angel into his grasp.

As Dipper was about to walk back to the others, he accidentally stepped on a twig, which caught the ears of the UzaPonies. The odd ponies turned and saw Dipper holding Angel.

Trixie looked over the UzaPonies. "Thanks a lot, Dipper."

The crew then ran away from the UzaPonies screaming in fear with the strange ponies following them. They found a cave to hide in and ran into it. Then a rock avalanche covered the entrance.

"Well, we're stuck here." Squidward added.

"At least we got Angel." Mabel replied.

Patrick heard his stomach rumble. "I'm hungry!"

"We been on that ship for days, and now you're hungry?" Rainbow asked. "I say we spend our days here without food!"

"We're all hungry." Anais said. "And I have an idea. I say we eat Squidward."

"Don't even try." Squidward added. "But Dipper has nutrients. And he has loads of meat on him."

"Hey!" Dipper yelled.

"No. We must eat the captain." Trixie demanded.

Twilight was shocked, but shook her head. "No one is eating anyone. We have to find a way out of this cave. But there's a path here. And we should follow it." She turned to Patrick. "Sorry, Patrick. You might have to wait."

Patrick wore a gloomy face.

"I agree with Twilight." Rainbow said. "I am not eating by being a cannibal. Let's move!"

"Fine." The others said in unison following Rainbow and Twilight.

Twilight turned to Rainbow. "Thanks for being understanding, Rainbow."

Rainbow smiled. "You're welcome."
