Chapters Chapter 1: One Really Lazy Filly
I woke up to the sound of Rarity’s voice telling me it was time for breakfast. I got up and walked down the stair to the smell of freshly made pancakes, a little burnt, just how I like it. After we ate I was about to head out so I could meet up with my friends when I heard Rarity yell for me. She said “Sweetie Belle, I’m feeling kind of sick. Can you do the dishes for me”, her voice sounded slightly hoarse.
“I don’t have time for your shit. I need to meet up with my friends” I yelled, immediately realizing what had just come out of my mouth.
“Sweetie Belle!” I heard her yell as loud as she could “Watch your language and learn to respect me. If I ask you to do something do it. With that moment I will do anything to get you to learn that. Actually, I will be going to Sweet Apple Acres today anyway, I will ask Applejack if she can take you until you learn some respect and responsibility. Go to school. If possible, I will have Applejack pick you up, so if she does, be ready to help her out.”
“Wait, no! Rarity, I’m sorry!” I pleaded
“No I will not wait. That was unacceptable, and you know it. Applejack will make you learn respect and that’s why I want you with her for a while so you don’t have another outbreak like that” Rarity said as she walked out the front door of the Carousel Boutique and walked towards the train station.
I headed out to school. I went through the day as normal, until the end of the day. At the end Applejack came to pick me up. I almost fainted right there and then as I knew there was no getting out of this one. As I walked alongside Applejack she stopped and said to me “Ah am so disappointed in you. Why can’t y’all just respect Rarity, but nah, you just had to say that. Now Ah have to feed another mouth all because y’all can’t shut yer mouth. So here is the deal, imma call you Apple Belle for now on, and y’all better hope it catches on. When you get home, do your homework and then go out and work. Now that Ah have custody of you Ah can do as Ah wish and Ah am not afraid to hit you to prove a point.” She started walking again. We stayed silent all the way ‘home.’
Apple Bloom asked why I showed up with Applejack and I told her the whole conversation and what happened this morning. She said “Well, Ah have and never had a sibling my age, and neither have yo-… Oh sorry. Ah will show you how to do somethings around the place in a bit. But now that we have this opportunity, lets tell everyone in school where sisters, we kind of are now, we’ll use it to make that Apple Belle name come to good use, your full name If anyone asks would be, how about… 'Sweetie Apple Belle Sweetapple'... Oh sorry, ah don't know why Ah ramble like this to mahself. But if you want to do that, lets go for it. We are going to be like sisters, we will want to kill each other like normal sisters do, and that will probably be soon. So, do you want to?” I just smiled and hugged her.
“I might as well, it would be the only positive of today,” I responded. Not realizing how much that answer would affect me. I now declared myself an Apple, all just because my best friend asked me to. It’s stupid looking back at it, but yet, it was understandable.
Somehow, me and Apple Bloom managed to get over 1,000 apples to bring back to the house. Applejack told us one more day of this and we get a day off to do as we wish.
The next day in school we showed up at the same time, everybody asked why this was. We said we found out we were blood related through a blood test we both took, and decided that I should move in with Apple Bloom, that Rarity did not want an Apple foal living under her roof as it made her look bad. So now we live together.
Just because we spent more time outside of school together, we bonded to the point of actual love. (Sisterly of course). After school my second day we didn't get all 1,000 apples. We actually only got 781 apples. Applejack screamed at us saying that was not good enough. We told her we tried our best but she just hit both of us with a wooden paddle she had and said to us: "There is no try, just do! Neither of y'all get dinner tonight! Just go to bed!" We just went upstairs, me and Apple Bloom's new sibling rivalry got us to race to Apple Bloom's room, I won. After that I went to my room, and went to sleep.
The next morning, before breakfast, I asked Apple Bloom something that has been on my mind for some time now. "Hey Apple Bloom, why did you act like you know I'm going to be here for a while, which the whole sister thing and such."
"Because it's Applejack. Ah know her. When Rarity wants you back Applejack will say you didn't change, possibly that yer more disrespectful. If Rarity says she doesn't care, Applejack won't hand custody back over. Rarity made a huge mistake handing yer custody over to Applejack. You are a benefit to the farm, and Applejack with use you for that and just that, yer stuck." She slowly walked away after that. I wondered to myself if that was true, yet I was to scared to ask. Maybe I could run by and visit Rarity really quick to ask her for advise on what Apple Bloom said. After all of our morning work, we left early so I could ask. I said that we were grabbing some stuff from Rarity.
At Rarity's I grabbed nothing, I just said to her "Apple Bloom told me Applejack will never let you have me back. I want to come back. Can you ask?"
"Sure. If I get a bad report though, she can keep you." Just then Apple Bloom walked in.
"Applejack's bad reports will be complete bull crap. She will do anything to keep Sweetie Belle on the farm so she can use her to get a higher income. If you say you don't care, she won't hand over shit. Sweetie Belle, your stuck, like I said, your a benefit that Applejack does not want to lose. She will do anything not to. Sorry." Apple Bloom said to me.
"Both of you wait for me outside the Carousel Boutique after school. I will ask. Apple Bloom, just in case, I want you waiting too" Rarity said to both of us before sending us out to school. We went through the day as normal. A weird thing happened midday however. Big Macintosh came into class, whispered something to Miss Cherillee and left. After school Miss Cherillee told us he told her to let us know not to go near Carousel Boutique. We did not listen.
Chapter 2: How to Live on Sweet Apple Acres
In this day the Carousel Boutique seemed darker than usual, like my brain knew not to go there, yet I still had to. I needed to know what Rarity had to say. I walked in and the first thing me and Apple Bloom hear is the booming voice of Big Macintosh yelling at Rarity saying "Ah don't care what y'all say. Applejack said she ain't handing any custody back over, and that y'all should stop trying." Me and Apple Bloom hid behind a wall as he walked out.
Once he was gone we ran up to Rarity. I said to her "Rarity, what happened!? They can't keep me can th-" Apple Bloom cut me off.
"Are y'all deaf? Did you not just hear mah brother? He said that Applejack will not be handing the custody back over. Sweetie Belle, y'all can't win. Stop trying." She said angrily at me.
"I don't want to stop trying. I want things to go back to the way they were."
"Well Ah know you ain't gonna win."
"Well a miracle co-" Rarity put her hoof over my mouth.
"Look, I am going to see to this as soon as possible. I want you back too. Now take your rivalry and go away, your arguing is giving me a headache." Rarity said to us. So we walked out the door back to Sweet Apple Acres.
The minute we walked in the door Applejack gave me a look of anger and I almost went straight back outside hoping she didn't see me before she said "The way y'all talk, it pisses me off."
"What do you mean, like the words I use and the accent I have?" I said to her with a slight bit of attitude,
"Don't disrespect me, and both of those are the issue. If you live somewhere, y'all talk like them too. Honestly, Ah can not stand that slight posh accent Rarity gave y'all. It makes you sound like a stuck up bitch. That better be fixed soon" Applejack said as she walked away. I gave her a look of confusion.
"Ah knew she would start that sometime." Apple Bloom said to me and walked away as well. Shit I thought, How am I going to fix this? It seems I had no choice on this one. I got lucky in the fact that the Apple Family accent is highly contagious any I would definitely have it fully in a week or so. Signs of it have shown anyways. I saw a family member on the street and they said hello to me. I gave a classic Apple Family response.
"How y'all doin'" Nice. Now that's rubbing off on me and I look bad in front of my family. I heard that one come back real quick, I was the laughing stock of the family since then. I always feel embarrassed walking by a unicorn now. They just treat me like an outcast. So now I just stay in more, as to not deal with this.
I was about to walk outside to get to work when Applejack walked back in the room "Also, to live here, y'all gotta look the part. Ah don't see any Apple Ponies with a horn stickin' out of there head. Ah will give y'all one of my hats and something else, but y'all got a lot to fix."
I was pissed, so I said to her "I don't want to change. I can be any fucking way I want" She hit me so hard across the head I felt drowsy 'til nightfall.
"This is why Rarity kicked you out! Shut y'all annoying lip, and just listen to what Ah say. Come, Ah'll give y'all some stuff to help look the part, go finish yourself off some othe' way." She brought me upstairs and put one of her hats on my head and handed me a package of blonde mane dye...
"What is the mane dye for" I asked
"Do you see anypony with your mane color? No. Fix it." And she walked out. I just did as she asked. My mane looked surprisingly good blonde. It was the exact color (Or very similar) as Applejack's. I did it with my tail as well and it actually looked like an improvement. With the hat I looked like a mini-white Applejack. (Which once again sadly looked good with me.) I used my mane to cover my horn and the hat to cover the obvious bulge that the horn left. With looks apparently makes an accent easier, I noticed it stronger in myself afterwards. It moments like this that make me wonder, if I can't make my own decisions, should I be alive?
The next day in school I at first got many looks. People asked about why my mane was like that, I explained. I did it to impress Applejack, or to at least keep her from turning me into orange pulp. At hearing that part, Miss Cherillee asked me what I meant, and I explained how Applejack disciplined us. Apple Bloom hit me real hard in the side so I shut up midway through my explanation. On our way home from school she said to me "Are y'all seriously stupid? Don't get Applejack in trouble. She is paying for us. Just respect her, and Ah just wanted another reason to punch you. Love you" She smiled and started laughing as we walked 'home.'
When we got home Applejack looked at me and instead of saying something was wrong with me, she smiled and sent us out to work. While working Cheese Sandwich came by and looked at me "Sweetie Belle, I couldn't tell it was you. Your so ugly now" I knew he was joking, but Apple Bloom punched him where the sun don't shine.
"Don't joke on mah sister. Ah'll get a you so hard y'all will forget where you came from.;" Apple Bloom said.
He asked what he originally intended "Someone is in a bad mood. Where is Applejack?"
I responded with a quick "Ah think she is in the house." Not realizing the accent 'til later. We got back to work and found out later he wanted us to work at his house and Applejack didn't hand us over, typical. After doubling what Applejack wanted us to get, we were given the next Saturday off, in three days! I was starting to enjoy Sweet Apple Acres. I just needed the time to get used to it. Rarity probably doesn't need my help anyway...
Rarity actually does need Sweetie Belle's help. She got sick the day after Sweetie Belle left and has been unable to get out of bed since when she tried to get Sweetie Belle back. She needs someone to take care of her, yet no pony is there, and no pony knows she is even in bed, crying for help.

Chapter 3: "Feeling Like I Slept Well, But Hit My Head Along the Way"
I have never gotten hit so hard in my life. Applejack woke me up with a belt to the head. She said to me "Ah think Ah saw a spark of magic comin' from you. That is not allowed. Y'all are mah filly and follow mah family's rules, and Ah know Granny Smith would beat hell on y'all if she saw magic."
"But it was just a spark. My horn does that sometimes, It won't hurt nopony!"
"Y'all never know. If your horn is like that then its just a burden. Ah think you would be better without it. Y'all are staying home from school tomorrow, Ah'm taking you to have that piece of shit removed from your head."
"Wait, Applejack, please no!!' I pleaded, but she was gone at that point.
She never woke me up that morning until Apple Bloom was gone for school, she woke me up after, gave me breakfast, and dragged me by the ear not to Canterlot or Ponyville, but Appleoosa. She brought me to a place known as Dr. Mare's Clinic, it was horribly sketchy but her grip on my ear was painfully tight so I couldn't get away. She threw me on a table and tied me down. A weird mare put something over my face, the world went black.
I opened my eyes, feeling like I slept well, but hit my head along the way. A sharp pain was coming from my head. I was in my bed at Sweet Apple Acres, it was all just a dream. I got up to look in the mirror and noticed something was missing from me. I remembered my dream and realized it was my horn. I noticed a bandage where my horn used to be. I fell to the floor... I cried from not only the pain, but knowing the fact I can no longer truly be like my big sister, Rarity. I could no longer be considered a unicorn, I no longer possessed the ability to use magic, at most I was considered an Earth Pony. I am way to embarrassed to go out in public now, maybe all the look changes beforehand were a true positive.
Without my horn I was noticeably shorter. To fix this small issue, I used a really nice set of boots Applejack had gotten me as a 'present' because of my transition to being an earth pony, they added about 2 inches to my height. I also had my hat which added some height as well. If I was doing all of this I might as well go all the way. I had a jacket that had a leathery texture, and an old pair of Jean pants, which probably belonged to Apple Bloom at some point, but hand me downs are pretty common in this household. Looking in the mirror, I actually looked pretty good, I was also about 2 inches taller than I used to be. In the mirror, I noticed a slight Amber tinge to my emerald eyes.
On my first day back at school I got quite a few weird looks. People asked where my horn was, I just ignored those comments. How could I explain where it was? I didn't even know. The most I gave was "Its not connected to my skull anymore." Miss Cherillee was concerned and asked for the whole story. I knew I would get my ass beaten in if I got Applejack in any trouble, so I told Miss Cherillee it was my idea.
"Why would you make a decision like that? What will Rarity say?" Miss Cherillee asked.
"Ah don't think Rarity will ever come for me, and Ah made the decision to impress Applejack, mind yer business, if anypony cares it's Applejack..." Right then Miss Cherillee gave me a weird look.
"Your eyes, they are turning red. The emerald green, it's fading. Tell me what's going on right now, Sweetie Belle." With that I walked out of the building and went home to Sweet Apple Acres. How come every time my eyes get more red, I forget some of my past with Rarity and start focusing more on life at the farm?
