Keeping her a Secret

Last time Pinkie met a little filly named Magic Butterfly a half breed Changeling. And helped her escape from a cage she was placed in by the Ringmaster Whip Snap.

"So your really a changeling?" Pinkie asked.

"Well not exactly my Mama was a changeling and my Papa was a normal pony" Magic said.

Pinkie looked at the little Halfling who was nervous to hear Pinkie's reaction not sure what she was going to say.

"That...is...so...AMAZING!" Pinkie called with sparkling eyes

"Eh?" Magic said a little confused by that reaction as Pinkie hopped beside her looking her over.

Pinkie was looking at her almost studying her this was the first time she had seen a Changeling since Shining and Cadance's wedding. Though Magic wasn't that of a normal Changeling she seemed more pony like. Magic looked a little uncomfortable by Pinkie being so close to her.

"uh Miss Pinkie your in my bubble" Magic said.

"You have a bubble I don't see a bubble." Pinkie said looking for a bubble.

"No um that just what my papa use to call personally space." Magic said.

"Oh Sorry" Pinkie said smiling

She then saw Magic looking sad again. She understood why even though she enjoyed living with the Cakes she missed her family. She was enjoyed the times she could go home or her sister Maud came.

Still though it got lonely just her and Gummy in her little home above Sugarcube corner.

"Well Miss Pinkie I thank you for helping me but I have to go now" Magic said doing a small nod to Pinkie planning to leave.

Pinkie heard that as her face gained a look of concern, the filly looked no older than the CMC and disheveled look to her she would not survive out in the wide world of Equestria.

"Wait how about you stay with me and my friends" Pinkie said.

Magic looked at Pinkie who was surprised that a pony she had just met offered to take her in.

"I don't want to intrude" Magic said.

"Don't be silly willy." Pinkie ruffled her mane as Magic blushed alittle embarrassed.

"Me and my friends are always looking to help out a pony in need no matter what the kind." Pinkie said cheerfully.

"Well I'm not everypony" Magic said referring to her appearance.

Pinkie looked at the filly until an idea came to her.

"I got it!" Pinkie said smiling.

Magic looked at Pinkie who held her close smiling

"Your part changeling right" Pinkie said smiling at her.

"Well yes" Magic said like Pinkie was stating the obvious.

"Then there's no problem."

Magic looked confused

"Make yourself look like a different pony" Pinkie said

"Oh right" Magic said hearing that.

She started to concentrate trying to focus on a form.

The pinkish rings surrounded her as her form changed making herself into a normal Pegasus her coat turned into a light orange coat, her mane was purple save for a powder blue streaks hear eyes remained the same color only now with normal pupils.

"Now we just have to say that your one of my relatives" Pinkie said to Magic

"is that ok?" Magic said as Pinkie held her close.

"of course" Pinkie said smiling and hopped "Well come on"

Magic nodded following after the pink pony into the Las Pegasus lights

She looked around in wonder at the city.

"Its so big..." Magic said looking around at the multiple ponies sightseeing and going into casinos and buffets.

"I know. That's Las Pegasus for you." Pinkie said.

"Pinkie Pie!" a voice called as the two looked over.

They saw the other girls and Spike approach, "There ya are." Applejack said.

Magic hid alittle shy and scared

"You really shouldn't go wandering." Twilight said.

"Oh I'm sorry girls I got sidetracked" Pinkie said.

"Typical." Rainbow replied.

Rarity took noticed to the little filly hiding behind Pinkie who looked at them with curiosity and fear.

"And who's this with you?" Rarity asked politely

"oh this is my cousin's daughter" Pinkie said as Magic walked out from behind her.

"She's related to you? But she's a Pegasus." Rainbow noted.

"It's all in the family tree, Rainbow my cousin Surprise is a Pegasus on my mother's side" Pinkie said

"I caught them out of the blue and they were wondering if I could supervise Magic here." she said.

"Her name is Magic?" Spike asked.

"Its short for Magic Butterfly" Magic said softly.

"That's a sweet little name" Fluttershy said smiling at the little filly.

"You girls don't mind if she joins us Surprise is always working so Magic doesn't get out much" Pinkie said.

"Well how long will we be watching her we'll only be here for two more days" Twilight said.

Pinkie realizing that thought fast.

"Mama wanted me to spend some time with Pinkie so she's letting me go visit her" Magic said.

'Good save.' Pinkie thought.

Magic's stomach began to growl loudly.

"Sounds like somepony's hungry." Pinkie playfully nudged her.

"well come on everypony let's go hit that buffet" AJ said

The group walked off toward a large restaurant.

meanwhile back at the circus.

The Ringmaster was checking in on his prized star.

"Oh Magic if your ready to behave I'll give you something to eat" Whip Snap said walking toward the cage where he had placed Magic.

"Magic? Hey, Magic, wake up!" he tapped the bars.

He lit up his horn with a simple illumination spell looking inside the cage seeing nothing but empty chains.

"NO!" he said angrily his horn glowing more with his rage and anger.

he stomped off heading toward a trailer parked alittle bit away from the tent. He knew that if Magic had gotten out there was one place she go to hide and get sympathy.

"WHERE IS SHE!?" he shouted as he bucked down the trailer door.
