Power Heroes Adventures II: Age of Lightning

After the fallout with Nightmare Moon, our heroes have once again saved Metropolis. Everyone except Twilight celebrated their victory she stayed in the control room and sat in her chair slumped down and trying to figure out what Nightmare Moon said about a team coming to kill them. What do you mean by that Twilight thought to herself as a piece of paper flew out the window but Twilight catched it then pinned it then pinned the paper to a wall.

"There, that should keep you from flying out again," said Twilight.

All of a sudden the front door flung open to reveal the others and a very drunk Rainbow Dash on top of Applejack's back.

"Oh dear me I knew we shouldn't have Dash chug all those beers," said Rarity who cleaned up Rainbow's puke off of her dress.

"Did you guys enjoy yourself?" asked Twilight.

"It was awesome!" said Rainbow who burped very loudly that shook up the whole building.

Everyone except Twilight and Rarity laughed at Dash's antics which Rarity found disgusting, Applejack took her rainbow haired friend to bed so she can sleep off her drunkenness while Pinkie and Shy went to train. Spike saw a look on Twilight that had determined written all over it. Ever since she conquered her fear and defeated Nightmare Moon she's changed for the better.

"Spike I found out a message that was played while you guys were out celebrating," said Twilight as she replayed a message.

The screen got fuzzy but cleared up and showed a girl with yellow orangish hair with dark yellow eyes wearing what seemed to be a trench coat, orange hand gloves, long pants and finally black reddish boots. She appeared to have powers more specifically fire energy blasts out of her hands.

"Wait isn't that Lightning Dust?" asked Spike but Twilight hushed him as they continued to watch.

Lightning stood beside a cutout of all of them and blasted them to oblivion except Rainbow Dash which she just used her laser vision to melt her until there was nothing left. This was shocking since they all have not seen Dust in years, not since the Wonderbolts tryouts.

"What is Lightning Dust doing here in Metropolis?" asked Spike.

"I have no idea but I'm about to find out," said Twilight.

She typed in the video's origin into their computer and all could find was an abandoned house on the outskirts of the city, Spike could just send Rarity and Pinkie over there to check it out. He carried Twilight to bed then tucked her in then closed the door so Twilight could get some rest for tomorrow, it was going to be a busy day.

The sun rose in the sky and sunlight hit Twilight to inform her that morning has arrived. She dragged herself out of bed and put her normal clothes on then walked out of the room to greet everyone.

"Alright Spike we're ready," said Rarity as she adjusted the mask on her outfit.

"Ok," said Spike as he handed them both communicators in case they get caught in a fight and have to call for backup.

Rarity and Pinkie used the transporter to end up at the abandoned house that had mold and maggots everyone. Pinkie looked all over but found nothing then Lightning Dust appeared in front of the party girl and Rarity.

"I was expecting to see Masked Matterhorn or Zapp but you two will suffice," said Lightning Dust as she prepared to attack them.

"Looks like this is going to be fun after all," said Rarity as her bracelets lit up and revealed two blades of chaos.

Rarity attacked her by engaging in a swordfight by combining hand to hand combat but Dust blocked her leg kick and flinged her into a wall. Pinkie rushed and catched Rarity in mid air then did a flurry of kicks and fast moving punches which Dust couldn't keep up with. Rarity got up and entered the fray as Lightning Dust had planned, then created a shockwave that knocked them both down. Lightning huffed and puffed, she had never seen this kind of power before.

"Your both good but not good enough to kill me," said Lightning Dust as she disappeared.

"Rarity are you both ok?" said Spike over the communicator.

"Yes we're quite alright but I think we have a big, big problem. Pinkie and I just went three rounds with Lightning Dust," explained Rarity.

"Alright I'll come pick you up," said Spike.
