Power Heroes Adventures II: Age of Lightning

"So Lightning Dust is back here and you sent Rarity and Pinkie Pie to fight her. No offense but they're rookies to Dust," said Dash drinking some hard apple cider.

Rarity gave Dash a evil look and Spike calmed her down long enough to not have her kill Rainbow Dash for that remark.

"Like I said no offense," said Dash as she took another sip of her cider.

Twilight was pretty much the only one who actually tried to make sense of the whole conversation considering that right now they had to deal with Lightning Dust and who knows who else. The news cut on immediately to show a robbery in progress and Dust was doing the robbing.

"Alright time to suit up," said Spike.

Twilight along with the others suited up and flew out to the source of the disturbance.

As the jet took off something uncoiled itself in Twilight's mind in a bad way. Everyone including Rainbow looked at their leader and exchanged worried looks but the most worried was Fluttershy who got up from her seat and walked up to Twilight.

"Are you ok Twilight? You seem to be in a sour mood," asked Fluttershy who put a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder.

"Well it's just that when we caught Nightmare Moon she left me with a lot of questions like: A team would kill us very soon and I have no idea what that means," said Twilight.

The others heard what she said and gave Twilight a big hug. This was the family type of thing she loved from her best friends, they treat each other like family and nothing less. Without warning, Lightning Dust fired a shot at the jet disabling one of the engines. Spike desperately tried to keep it in the air but eventually the jet crashed into the ground and proceeded to skid down on a road.

Through the wreckage, Twilight emerged out along with the others. Dust wasn't impressed considering she was dealing with Twilight and her friends but she turned her attention from Masked Matterhorn to Zapp who gave Dust a look of distain and disgust.

"Lightning Dust how did you find us?" asked Dash while preparing her attack.

"It was quite easy really. Nightmare Moon led me to your location and here I am," explained Dust who put the bags down and cracked her knuckles.

The air was still and quiet, so quiet that a pen could drop and everyone would hear it. A long history between Dust and Dash would be unleashed right now, it's as if the whole earth stopped moving unless one of them flinched but it didn't happen until Dust did a super roundhouse kick on Dash sending her flying and crashing into a building or two.

"Aw is that all you got? I expected more from you," said Dust as she flew down to the broken building with a mammoth sized hole in it.

As she examined the wreckage a shadow of Rainbow came passing by and Dust fired an energy shot at the wall but nothing was there. Then without warning Dust was hit in her face with a double boot attack by Zapp aka Rainbow Dash, disoriented; Dash used this opportunity to give her 40 volts of electricity zapping her then did a combination of punches and kicks causing Lightning to fly into a tall skyscraper then skid on the hard cold ground below.

Dash flew down ready for another attack as Lightning Dust got up and dusted herself off.

"I see you've gotten better Rainbow since the last time we met," said Dust smirking.

"The hell are you doing in my city?!?" asked Dash as her friends appeared beside her.

"The real fight has only began, you'll see when I regain my full power you'll all be dead," said Dust as she disappeared.

Dash looked at her friends then at her thunderbolt pendant.

"Damn this is not going to be an easy day," said Dash.
