Chapters Chapter 1: Welcome to Ponyville
“ALL ABOARD!”
Lyra Heartstrings boarded the train to Ponyville. It was a brisk summer afternoon. She said one last goodbye to her friends, well, most of them. For some reason Twilight couldn’t talk and seemed to be in a rush. I guess she was just busy. The aqua unicorn thought, I’ll have to visit her and the others some other time.
Lyra found a seat between two mares. To the right was a gray earth pony with a bowtie and used the seat to her right to store what looked to be a cello. To the left was a white unicorn with purple shades covering her eyes. She seemed to be listening to some kind of music.
The mare sat between the two in her usual human like pose, the unicorn didn’t seem to care, but she got some glances from the earth pony. “Excuse me.” the gray mare caught Lyra’s attention, she seemed to speak with an english accent, “Why are you sitting like that?” It doesn’t look very comfortable.”
“If I explained it to you you’d think I’m crazy.” Lyra responded.
“Hey I’ve met tons of crazy ponies.” The unicorn said, taking off her headphones, “Try me.”
“Well, basically there are these mythical creatures called ‘humans’. They stand on two legs and have these things called hands. I kinda study them so I like to sit like them.”
Both mares stared at her strangely, “Well I can say I’ve never met anyone like you,” the unicorn said, “But if I’ve learned anything from my travels it’s that new experiences are everywhere.”
“Well,” the earthpony started, “I suppose it’s a bit… strange… But everypony has their own beliefs and I don’t believe it’s right to judge anypony based upon them.”
“So what brings you two to ponyville?” Lyra asked.
“I actually live there.” the white mare responded, “I had a gig here in Cantorlot and now it’s back to home sweet home!”
“Oh! Well I’m moving there today and I have a roommate I met online, maybe you know her. Bon Bon?”
“Name sounds familiar…” the unicorn had to think for a second, “OH YEAH! She’s my neighbor, which means I guess you’re my neighbor too… Along with that weird Doctor guy…”
“Well maybe you know my flatmate as well,” the english mare started, “I happen to be moving to ponyville as well. Do you know Vinyl Scratch?”
“That name defiantly rings a bell!”
“So you know her?”
“Course I know her, she’s me… Wait, YOU’RE Octavia.”
“Well what a great coincidence!” Lyra started, “It looks like we’ll all be neighbors! Maybe, we can be friends. I’m Lyra by the way. Lyra Heartstrings.”
“Octavia Melody.”
“Vinyl Scratch”
The three all had a friendly handshake, or at least Lyra thought it was friendly. In the minds of Octavia and Vinyl there were not so friendly thoughts about their new roommates.

“So, this is the place?” Lyra asked as they got to their neighborhood.
“Yup,” the dj responded, “This is actually my house so Bon Bon’s is to the right.”
“Thanks Vinyl, hope to see you two again!” as the cellist and dj trotted into their house, Lyra trotted over to her new roommate’s house. She knocked on the door and seemed to hear some kind of struggle and a click. Almost like something was being put away, She must be doing some last minute cleaning.
A cream colored mare with a blue and pink mane opened the door. She seemed to look a bit nervous for some reason. “You must be Lyra.” she said “I’m Sweetie Dr- Bon Bon! I’m Bon Bon.” Lyra shook her hoof and smiled at her new roommate.
The mint green mare walked in to find a rather clean household, all except for the packages of… “bonbons?”
“Oh! Sorry. I have to take work home sometimes. I work at a candy factory, I specialize in monster hun- making bonbons! I specialize in making bonbons…” I really have to be more careful! At this rate I’ll reveal who I really am! “So, um…
There was suddenly a knock at the door, “Were you expecting anyone?”
“No, I’ll get it.”
Bon Bon opened the door to reveal a brown stallion wearing 3D Glasses. “Ah Bon Bon!” he spoke with an english accent, much like Octavia’s, “I was wondering if I could borrow a cup of sugar?”
“Um… Sure I guess let me-“
“Great!” the stallion let himself in and went straight to the kitchen. He got out a large measuring cup and poured enough sugar in it to fill it to the brim. “Perfect! Don’t worry Bon Bon, I’ll return the cup by tomorrow…” The stallion stopped and looked at Lyra. “Who’s this?”
“I’m Lyra, Bon Bon’s new roommate.” she responded.
“It nice to meet you Lyra. I’m the Doctor, welcome to Ponyville.” The Doctor ran out the door with the sugar and closed it behind him.
“Well then-“ There was another knock on the door.
Bon Bon opened it to reveal the Doctor again, “By the Way, there may or may not be a small explosion coming from my house. If there is, just ignore it, I’m fine.” he closed the door again.
“That was the Doctor.” Bon Bon started, “He’s a strange pony, no one really knows where he’s from. But he’s a good friend. Come on, I’ll give you a tour of the house then show you around ponyville.”

Vinyl and Octavia walked into their house, not saying a word to each other. Great! the dj thought, I bet she’s some sort of prissy know it all pony, she’ll probably try to make me turn down my wubs, or something like that.
Terrific! the cellist thought, I have to live with this girl, I bet she gets into trouble all the time, she’ll probably get annoyed by my cello, or something like that.
The two glared at each other. Octavia ended the silence once she got out her cello. “Do you mind if I play?” she asked.
“Not if you don’t mind if I do.” Vinyl said, sitting at her turn table.
Octavia started playing a classical type of music. Unfortunately it was drowned out once Vinyl started playing. The cellist started playing louder and faster, glaring at the unicorn. The DJ retaliated with a mix of beats that went, surprisingly well with Octavia’s cello.
The two kept playing trying to outdo each other. However what started as a contest, turned into a beautiful piece of music between the two.
The musicians stopped and stared at each other. This time with amazement. “That was incredible!” Octavia said, putting away her cello, “Your ‘beats’ just went perfectly with my cello, it was a very nice touch.”
“Oh please!” Vinyl started, “Your speedy cello playing is what really made it so great!”
The two stared at each other, both could feel a feeling inside of them that they’d never felt before.
Before either of them could say anything, there was a knock on the door. “I’ll get it.”
The DJ opened the door to reveal a crosseyed gray pegasus mare, “Hey Derpy, what brings you here?”
“”Hi Vinyl,” Derpy responded, “The Doctor’s doing some kind of experiment again and he say there might be some kind of an explosion. But it’s nothing to worry about.” Derpy noticed Octavia behind Vinyl. “Who’s your friend?”
“Oh,” Vinyl looked back at the cellist, “This is my new roommate, Octavia.”
“Hello.” Octavia waved her hoof at the pegasus. Derp returned the wave and left.
“So, anything you wanna do?” Vinyl asked.
“Well,” the gray mare started, “I could use a tour of ponyville.”
“Great, let’s do that.”
The new roommates went outside and met Lyra and Bon Bon there, “Hey girls,” Lyra started, “Bon Bon was just about to give me a tour of ponyville, you wanna come?”
“Actually Vinyl and I were just about to do the same thing.” Octavia responded.
“Perfect!” Bon Bon started, “We can all go together.”
Before the four friends could start the tour, there was an explosion that came from the Doctor’s house. It broke all windows and knocked down the door.
“Well, he did warn us.” Octavia said.
“Could’ve been worse.” Vinyl spoke to soon as another explosion started that sent the roof flying to who knows where and knocked down two of the walls.
“You had to say it didn’t you?” Bon Bon said to the DJ.
Chapter 2: Welcome to Ponyville: Pt 2.
The four mare ran into the Doctor’s house, making sure everyone was okay. They found the Doctor and Derpy lying on the floor, dazed.
“That. Was…” the Doctor began to stand up, “FANTASTIC! I never knew an explosion that big could be caused by a mixture that simple! Oh, Bon Bon, here’s your cup back.” The Doctor handed the cream colored mare a partially melted measuring cup, still smoking.
“Um,” she started, “Thanks… I guess.”
“Doctor!” Derpy stood up as well, “I thought you said it would be a small explosion! not so big it destroys your house!”
“No, I said it should be a small explosion, I made no promises.” Everypony glared at the stallion, “What!?”

The six began walking around ponyville, with Vinyl, Bon Bon, and Derpy telling them about the place while the Doctor just stated weird facts about certain buildings. As it was getting dark, they came across the Golden Oaks Library. They could see flashing lights coming from inside.
“That must be Pinkie Pie’s party!” Derpy stated, “I heard someone new just moved here. Kinda like you two.” She acknowledged Lyra and Octavia, “She’ll probably throw a welcoming party for you too.”
“Who throws a party in a library!?” Vinyl asked.
“I think it’s where she’s supposed to be living.” Bon Bon responded.
“Well then who the heck lives in a Library!?”
“I might know of one pony.” Lyra started walking into the party, with the five others behind her. They walked up to a yellow mare with an orange mane.
“Carrot Top!” Derpy called out the the pony.
“Derpy! Glad you and your friends could make it!” Carrot Top responded, “Who are they?” The yellow mare pointed her hoof and the mint green unicorn and the gray earth pony.
“I’m Octavia,” Octavia responded, “I just moved here. Nice to meet you.”
“I’m Lyra, I’m new too.” Lyra responded, “Do you have any idea who this party is for?”
Carrot Top started to think, “I think it’s for some mare called… Twilight… Sparkle?”
I knew it! Lyra thought, “Thanks.”
“No problem.”
Everyone, minus Derpy, walked away from Carrot Top, and started to talk amongst themselves. “Do you know that mare Lyra?” Octavia asked.
* * *
“He blew up his house!?” Carrot Top was surprised by Derpy’s statement, “I knew one day his experiments would get him into trouble.”
“Yeah,” Derpy responded, “But anyways, I was wondering if he could move in with us until he gets a new one.”
“Well… I suppose so… But no experiments in my house!”
“Right I’ll make sure he’s kept under control. Is Amethyst here?” Derp asked, looking around for her daughter.
“No, she stayed home, wanted some rest before the sunrise. Speaking of which, we should probably head over there now.”
“Derpy!” The Doctor called out to the pegasus, “We’re heading over to city hall, you coming?”
“Yeah we’re coming. Come on Carrot Top.”

The seven ponies sat at city hall, waiting for Princess Celestia to come out and raise the sun.
“Hey mom,” a magenta unicorn with a purple mane sat next to Derpy, she seemed to be in her teen years, “Hey everybody.”
“Hey Amethyst." Vinyl responded.
“Um, Derpy,” Octavia started, “If you don’t mind me asking, who is this?” Octavia pointed to the new unicorn.
“Oh, this is my daughter, Amethyst Star.”
“Oh, are you married?” Lyra asked.
“No, I found her on on the streets as a filly, and took her in.”
“I’m adopted!?” Amethyst screamed with a joking face.
Derpy jumped, “Oh no! I mean…!” Amethyst started giggling at her mothers being startled. “Oh come on, why do you have to scare me like that every time?”
“Because it’s funny.”
Mayor Mare began to speak, “Fillies and gentlecolts,”
“Shush, it’s starting.” Bon Bon said.
“As mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration!” Everypony in the crowd cheered and clapped, “In just a few moments, our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year! And now, it is my great honor to introduce to you the ruler of our land, the very pony who gives us the sun and the moon each and every day, the good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria… Princess Celestia!”
The curtains opened to reveal… nothing. A white unicorn went behind the curtain only to come out with words nopony wanted to hear, “She’s GONE!”
The entire town started panicking, until everypony went quiet, when Nightmare Moon showed up.

“We are screwed!” Vinyl said, still panicking. The eight friends went back to Bon Bon’s house after Nightmare Moon returned and declared night forever.
“What are we gonna do!?” Derpy said, flying around the room.
Everypony was freaking out, they had never seen anything like what had just happened.
“I thought she was just a myth!” Octavia stated.
“EVERYBODY CALM DOWN!” The Doctor screamed, causing everypony else to stare at him.
“What did you say?” Lyra asked.
“Um, I mean, everypony. Look, I’m sure everything’s going to be fine.”
“How can you be so sure!?” Bon Bon asked, “Princess Celestia is gone! Nightmare Moon is back! And now there’s nopony that can stop her!”
“Look, I’ll prove it.”
“How!?” Everpony except for Derpy asked.
“Follow me.” The eight ponies walked out into the dark of the night and into the Doctor’s still destroyed house. The stallion lead them into a basement.
“Doctor, are you sure we should show them?” Derpy asked, before he could turn on the lights.
“Of course. After all, we’re all friends here.” The Doctor turned on the light to reveal a large blue box that read ‘Police Public Call Box. “Ladies, say hello… to the TARDIS.”
Chapter 3: Welcome to Ponyville: Pt 3.
Everypony, besides the Doctor, Derpy, and Amethyst, stared at the ‘TARDIS’, very confused. “Oh boy a ride in the TARDIS.” Amethyst said, “You almost never let me do this.”
“Um, Doctor…” Octavia spoke up, “I don’t mean to be rude but-“
“That’s nothing but a big blue box!” Vinyl said, cutting her roommate off.
“Oh is it now?” the Doctor opened the doors to the TARDIS. Revealing a large room on the inside. The five ponies were amazed, each one of them looked around the outside of the blue box, walking around it.
Octavia, Vinyl, Bon Bon, and Carrot Top all said five words that the Doctor loved to hear almost in unison, “It’s bigger on the inside!”
“I love hearing that!”
Lyra walked in a bit later then everypony else, but with the same look of amazement on her face, “It’s smaller on the outside!” she said.
“And instantly, I like you!” The Doctor trotted over to the control panel and started fiddling with some levers and buttons, “I’ll explain the whole thing later but right now I’m going to prove to you that everything will be fine.” The Doctor hit one last button, “Allons-y!”
The TARDIS started shaking a made a strange moaning sound. Derpy, Amethyst, and the Doctor all held on to something out of instinct while the others all fell from all the shaking. The Blue Box finally stopped shaking and moaning.
“I think I’m gonna be sick…” Vinyl said, looking green.
“Alright everypony, have a step outside!” The Doctor said.
The ponies trotted outside the TARDIS to find themselves in a strange new building, made entirely out of stone that looked to be falling apart. Octavia started speaking, “Th-this is the Castle of the Two Princess’s!”
Bon Bon continued the cellist’s statement, “Right in the middle of…”
“THE EVERFREE FOREST!” The five ponies said, amazed and frightened at the same time.
“I don’t get it,” Lyra spoke up, “How did we get here?”
“Simple, allow me to explain the TARDIS!” The Doctor started, “It stands for, ‘Time And Relative Dimension In Space’ It allows me to travel anywhere in space and anywhen in time!”
“So it’s a time machine, and a teleporter?”
“Precisely!”
“That’s. SO. COOL!”
“Yes yes now everyone back inside! The shows about to start!”
“Show, what show?” Carrot Top asked.
“You’ll see.” The seven ponies followed the strange stallion back into the TARDIS, waiting for the ‘show’
Suddenly, Nightmare Moon appeared in the room, which they could see from the monitor, along with, “Twilight!” Lyra spoke up, “She’s in danger, we have to help!”
“She’ll be fine.”
“How can you be so sure!?” five other ponies came from the entrance and confronted Nightmare Moon together. There was suddenly a flash of light as six shards of… something… formed around the six heroes and created… something… nopony could really tell what was going on due to the lack of sound.
“Doctor! I thought you fixed the sound!”
“Never really got around to that…”
Before anypony knew it, there was suddenly a large rainbow that engulfed Nightmare Moon in a massive, yet colorful, explosion. After the smoke cleared, a seventh mare appeared, “Princess Celestia!” Everypony said.
“I told you everything would be fine.” the Princess walked over to the downed Nightmare Moon, who was now smaller and less evil looking, “That’s Celestia’s sister, Luna. She banished her to the moon after darkness over took her and turned her into Nightmare Moon. Though I think she’s okay now… There! Fixed the sound!”
“Now can anypony, tell me why there’s a large blue box in the corner of the room?” Celestia asked.
“Huh, I didn’t even notice that.”
“Doctor!” Derpy said, “You said you fixed the cloaking device!”
“Guess not!” The Doctor said, now sweating. He frantically pushed a bunch of buttons and levers again causing the TARDIS to shake “Emergency evacuation! ALLONS-Y! REPEAT! ALLONS-Y!”
The five other mare held on to something this time as they reappeared in Carrot Top’s house, “Thank God.” The Doctor said.
“What does allons-y even mean!?” Octavia asked.
“It’s french, for let’s go.”
“Then how does that make sense!?”
“It’s best not to question him.” Amethyst responded.
“Well, I may have taken us a bit into the future, not to far though, about mid day.”
The ponies looked out to see a crowd cheering as the six heroes and the two Princesses arrived. “It looks like everything turned out, okay.” Vinyl said.
“I told you so!”
“Well, that was fun and all, but I’m going home to take a nap.” Octavia said.
“Same!” responded everypony except Lyra.
Once every pony had left, Lyra confronted the Doctor. “Alright, cough ‘em up.”
“Cough what up?” The Doctor responded.
“I saw you grab somethings before we left, what were they?”
The Doctor sighed and took six colorful shards out of his pocket, “They’re Elements of Harmony, notice anything about them?”
“Th-they look like our cutie marks!” Lyra responded. The six gems looked just like the cutie marks of herself, Bon Bon, Vinyl, Octavia, Derpy, and the Doctor, “Where’d you get them!?”
“They flew into the TARDIS when they other pieces formed around those six mares. Legend states that they’re supposed to represent six elements. Honesty, Generosity, Kindness, Laughter, Loyalty, and Magic. Although I have no idea why some were made for us.”
“So what are you gonna do with them? I mean, shouldn’t we figure out why we have them and which elements we represent?”
“We will, I’m going to study them, do some research until then, let’s keep this a secret between the two of us, okay?” The mare nodded, “Fantastic!”

Chapter 4: Doctor I Shrunk the Ponies
Derpy was spending the day at Vinyl and Octavia’s house. It was a cold summer’s evening, nothing much to do, so she figured, why not get to know the two musicians she’d come to know as friends?
“So Derpy, I don’t mean to be rude,” Octavia said, “But, how did you meet the Doctor? He seems like a rather strange man.”
“Oh, well, that’s a long story.” The pegasus started, “I guess it started-“
Derpy was cut off by Vinyl’s scream. The DJ was suddenly standing on the chair looking down at the ground.
“Vinyl what’s wrong with you?” Octavia asked.
“Snake!” the DJ replied. The two mares looked on the ground to see a small snake slithering on the ground. It looked rather cute and didn’t seem to be able to hurt anyone.
“Oh relax Vinyl,” the cellist started, “It’s not poisonous or anything. We’ll just take it outside and set it free.”
“We could take it to FlutterShy.” Derpy suggested.
“Exactly… Who?”
“I’ve got a better idea!” Vinyl opened the drawer next to her and levitated what looked to be some sort of ray gun.
“Where did you get that!?”
“I may or may not have taken it from the TARDIS the other day.” The DJ pointed the gun at the snake, “Now hold still little guy…” Vinyl shot at the snake and missed. She kept shooting but the snake just kept dodging.
“Vinyl stop you’ll kill it!”
“Exactly!”
“Hmm… Where have I seen that before…?” Derpy thought. The pegasus came to a sudden realization, “WAIT, STOP!” Vinyl kept shooting at the snake, “IT’S NOT A RAY GUN!!!” The snake stopped in front of a mirror and Vinyl fired, “IT’S A-“ It was too late.
The snake dodged the ray again and it deflected off of the mirror into the three mares. The three all started to shrink, until they were smaller than an ant. “Shrink… Ray…” Derpy finished.
“Whoops…” Vinyl said, “Sorry guys…”
“Sorry!?” Octavia screamed, “You shrunk us! We’re small enough to fit in between the cracks in the floor! All because you had to kill a harmless, tiny snake!”
“Well I have a fear of snakes and it’s a completely rational fear! So a ‘tiny snake’ is a big deal to me!”
“Um.. Girls…” Derpy cut in.
“WHAT!?” Both mares screamed.
“That ‘tiny snake’, isn’t so tiny anymore…”
The musicians looked up at what the pegasus was looking at. The snake was now the size of a dragon. It looked much less cute then it was before. It’s giant teeth opened and it looked as if it was about to lunge. “Run…” Octavia said with fear in her voice.
The three mares got out of the way just in time. The snake luckily managed to get it’s teeth stuck in the floor for a few seconds, leaving the ponies time to find a hiding place. The friends ran under the couch and hid there quietly.
The snake got it’s teeth out of the floorboards and started it’s hunt for pony pray. It didn’t seem to be very smart and left the room.
“Well that was terrifying.” Derpy said, breathing heavily, “You two okay?” Octavia nodded, Vinyl not so much. The DJ stood still and silent, almost like she was paralyzed.
“Oh poor thing,” Octavia said, “She must be terrified…” Octavia slapped the mare and brought her back to reality.
“OW!” Vinyl said, “What was that for!?”
“To wake you up of course… But really I’m still mad at you for shrinking us…”
“I said I was sorry!”
“GIRLS!” Derpy screamed, “You can bicker all you want, AFTER we get back to normal size!”
“And how are we going to do that?” Octavia asked.
“Simple, Doc made two rays. A shrink ray and an enlargement ray. We just need to find the enlargement ray and we’re back to normal size.”
“Yeah…” Vinyl started, “I only grabbed the shrink ray…”
“Well that is a problem… So, we just have to wait for some pony to come and look for us. Amethyst should come looking for me if I’m not home soon. And the Doctor will be looking for his shrink ray.”
Just then the door opened. Just as Derpy said both Amethyst and the Doctor walked in.
“Mom?” Amethyst said, “You here?”
“Vinyl give me back my shrink ray,” the Doctor said, “I know you have it! At least I hope she has it, the past few ponies didn’t…”
“Now’s our chance!” Vinyl said. The three ran out from under the couch and started jumping up and down, screaming for the Doctor and Amethyst to notice them. The two ponies couldn’t hear them, and simply walked over them.
“Great,” Octavia said, “Now what!? We’re to small for anyone to hear!”
“We need some kind of amplifier so they can hear us.” Derpy said.
Vinyl gasped, “My wubs.” she said under her breath.
“What was that?” Octavia asked.
“My wubs! We can use them for Doc and Amethyst to hear! We just have to get to my room!”
“Okay but we need to act fast,” Derpy said, “There’s no telling when they’ll be leaving…”

Chapter 5: Doctor I Shrunk the Ponies: Pt 2.
The three mares walked for what seemed like hours, but after all their tiring walking, they made it to the other side of the living room.
“Celestia dammit!” Vinyl screamed, “We’ve been walking forever and barely got anywhere! It’ll take us days to get to my room at this rate!”
“Not to mention we have to find a way onto your speakers.” Octavia agreed.
“Well, look on the bright side,” Derpy said, “The Doctor and Amethyst shouldn’t be leaving anytime soon.” The two ponies had sat down on their couch and started watching TV, waiting for the mares.
“It’s been awhile,” Amethyst said, “Maybe we should go out looking for them.”
“Ah don’t worry,” The Doctor responded, “Your mother isn’t the type to get ponynapped, even if she did, she has Octavia and Vinyl to protect her. I’m sure they just went… shopping or something.”
“Seriously?” Vinyl asked.
“That stallion must be daft!” Octavia said, “Why is he even still here!? He got his shrink ray, he should be able to leave.”
“Doc’s not the kind to leave a filly worried about her mother all alone…” Derpy said, “He’s just to kind…”
“Okay we don’t have time for the sad music!” Vinyl said cutting off Derpy, “They’re gonna need to leave eventually, so let’s get moving!”
“Sad music?”
“Don’t question her…” Octavia said.
It took a long amount of time, (so long that the author was to lazy to write about it), but the ponies finally made it into Vinyl’s room, “OH THANK CELESTIA!” Vinyl said, falling to the ground, “We finally made it, I’m so tired.”
“Well you can’t rest now,” Octavia said, “We still need to get to your speakers.”
“Yeah yeah,” the DJ said getting back on her hooves. She let out a sigh, “I really don’t wanna climb up that. It’ll take forever to get to the mic.”
Derpy looked at the mares like they were crazy, “You do realize I can fly right?” she said, spreading her wings.
The mares blushed, “Oh right,” Octavia said, letting out an awkward laugh, “Pegasus…” The cross-eyed mare spread her wings and began to fly up to the speaker, “HOW ARE YOU GOING TO REWIRE THEM!?” Octavia screamed to her.
“DOC’S TAUGHT ME A LOT!” She screamed back, “I’M SURE I CAN FIGURE THIS OU-” Derpy was cut off by something. She didn’t know what it was but something hit her and caused her to fall on top of the speakers.
“YOU OKAY!?” Vinyl asked.
“YEAH, I’M FINE!” Derpy looked up to see what had hit her. Before her was a giant spider, “NOPE, NEVERMIND, NOT FINE, NOT FINE AT ALL!” Derpy started to run from the giant arachnid, “VINYL!” she screamed, “YOU MIC’S NOT WORKING!”
“IT MUST NOT BE PLUGGED IN! YOU’LL NEED TO-” the DJ was interrupted by a large hissing noise, the musicians both turned to find the snake again.
“That’s not good…” Octavia said, shivering.
“RUN!” the DJ started running for her life and didn’t even pay attention to where she was going, Octavia soon followed behind her.
“How are we going to out run this thing!?”
“With determination!”
“1. Determination isn’t going to help us here! 2. You seem to be showing fear more then determination! 3. You really need to stop playing those RPGs!”
Derpy flew into the air and tried to dodge the spider’s strikes as best as she could. She followed the wire from the microphone until she found the end. She picked it up with all her might and plugged it into the port. She flew back up to the microphone. But before she could make it she was struck down by the spider, hurting her wing. She fell in front of the spider and tried to fly away, but to no avail.
The spider came closer and closer to Derpy, as she tried to escape. It was finally right in front of her. Looming above her, it bared it’s fangs and looked like it was about to suck the blood from Derpy. Desperate, she did the only thing she could think of. The mare rose her hoof and smacked the spider across the face, “No, bad spider! Bad!”
“Y-yes Vinyl?” Octavia replied.
“Since this looks like the end, I just wanted to say, even though we’ve only known each other for about a week, I’ve kinda had a cr-”
“Don’t worry girls! The calvary’s here!” The mares looked up to find Derpy riding the spider! The musicians looked in awe as the spider look the snake by surprise and somehow wrapped a good portion of it in it’s web.
The snake hissed and snapped at it’s pray but couldn’t reach them. The spider stopped in front of the mares and let Derpy down, “Hey girls, hop on,” she said.
“Sweet!” Vinyl said, jumping on without hesitation.
Octavia reluctantly got on as well, “Y-you tamed a spider!?” she said.
“Eyup,” Derpy replied, “Turns out it just needed disciplining.” Octavia sat there completely confused as the spider took them to the top of the speaker.
Derpy spoke into the microphone, “Doc, Amethyst! We’re in Vinyl’s room! Come help us!”
“Was that Ditzy!?” the Doctor said, getting up from the couch.
“Yeah! Mom’s back!” Amethyst said, “Thank God! I was getting so bored!”
“But why on earth are they in Vinyl’s room!?” The ponies trotted into Vinyl’s room but didn’t find anything besides a cute little snake in the corner wrapped in spider webs, “Ditzy!?” Where are you!?”
Derpy’s voice came out of the speakers, “Doctor! We’re on the speakers! Vinyl scratch shrunk us!”
The Doctor pulled a magnifying glass out of Celestia knows where and used it to look on the speakers. “Well would you look at that! And are you riding a spider! That’s fantastic! Don’t worry, I’ll have you back to normal in a jiffy!”
The Doctor made it back to the house with his enlargement ray he carefully aimed it so as not to enlarge the spider as well. The three mares were finally back to their normal sizes.
“Oh thank Celestia!” Octavia said.
Derpy picked up the spider, “I’m gonna keep him,” she said.
“You’re gonna keep a pet spider?” Amethyst asked.
“Yup, and I’ll name him Reginald.”
“That’s a dumb name,” Vinyl said under her breath.
“Well, looks like everything turned out okay. Good thing I didn’t destroy these yet, otherwise we’ed really be in trouble.”
The ponies all laughed together until Lyra and Bon Bon came bursting through the door, “Guys guess what!” Lyra said.
The ponies stopped laughing and stared at the mares, “What?” Vinyl said.
“Okay, so me and Bon Bon were taking a walk through Ponyville when we saw Pinkie throwing a party for Twilight! Apparently she was trying to get her to give her her extra ticket to the Grand Galloping Galla! So that gave me an idea! Me and Bon Bon took a train to Canterlot and talked to my friend Lemon Hearts who’s an event planner! And I got her to give us tickets to the Grand Galloping Galla! We’re all going to the Galla!”
The ponies all cheered at the news except for Octavia, “Well, actually I was already going, I’m playing music there,” she said, “So I guess you have an extra ticket.”
“Oh… Lyra said,
“That’s mine, thank you.” Amethyst said as the levitated the ticket away from Lyra and walked out the door.
The six ponies all began laughing again, “Man, what a weird day,” Derpy said as she walked out the door.
“So Vinyl,” Octavia said.
“Yeah?” Vinyl replied.
“What were you about to say earlier?”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean when we were about to be eaten!”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.” the DJ began walking out the door.
“What!? Yes you do!”
“Nope.”
“Vinyl Scratch you get back here this instant!”

Oh thank God that's finally over, I don't know what I was thinking with the last chapter! Luckily I was able to power through and finish it. Hopefully the next one won't as cringe worthy.
