Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

The sun rose over the hills of Sweet Apple Acres and the town of Ponyville began to awaken with the sounds of cars roaring and roosters crowing. On Sweet Apple Acres the apple family was up and cooking breakfast, Macintosh was in the field, Bloom was at school already, Granny was cooking, and Jack... was eating Granny's cooking.

"Welp! I Ought to be gettin' Ter' School right 'bout now Granny. I'll be seein' you all later!" Jack said as she lept out the door. She jumped into her Dodge Ram 1500 and sped off to the high school, Canterlot High. With a stop of the engine she lept out and entered the school with her bags. With no care she tossed it into the locker she had had since the beginning of the year, and left for class, first period, math.

She entered the class and sat at the back of it as usual to say "She didn't care." to her teacher. With her boots propped on the desk she easily drowned out the class with thoughts of her bronco, Ciderjack. the class went on and on in her mind as she began to run out of memories of rides with Ciderjack, and began remembering her younger years, and... her mother. But luckily the bell rang and Jack was instantly snapped out of the memories and the door with speed. She left for second period as she ran into a familiar face, one of her closest friends, Twilight Sparkle.

"Oh, hi Twi', you ready for science?" She questioned her egghead friend.

"Yeah, I think miss tube (Testina Tube) is really pleased with the test results on last week's quarter test. by the way, how did you do on that test?" twi' inquisited.

"Oh ya' know, I think I got at least a C-, I mean how hard is it to understand the effects of the moon and sun on earth's gravity and tides, the only thing I probably didn't do good on is the vocab., what even is inertia?" The cowgirl joked with her smarty friend.

"Hmmm, well I guess we'll just have to see when we get to science..." The purple skinned girl was cut off by a high pitched bell ringing to signal that everyone not in class by now was considered late.

"Oh my celestia, would you look at the time, we best hurry I hear miss Tube is in a bad mood the morning." The purple girl blurted as they both ran to the science room.

They both entered as the class had just began, it seemed as if miss Tube was giving them a death stare as they entered out of breathe to the class.

"Well, well, I was in the mood for a good story, perhaps you would like to explain to me and the class why you are this morning, or would you rather tell me it in detention? Frankly I could go both ways right now, your pick." She told.

"As could I miss Tube." The student assistant, Trixie blurted.

"Well..." twi' began before she was cut off by the raised hand of miss tube to get to stop.

"save it, you have wasted valuable class time as it is now please take a seat, we have a lot to go over this monday." She commanded of the two girls as they strolled to their seats, their head not ceasing to look at the ground.

The class went on as usual with miss Tube telling of all the great test scores she had gotten from the last test, and telling the class that the average scores could do better. Apple payed it no mind, she was too busy thinking about the extra hour she would have to be at do to the beginning of the class, what would it be like, what would they have to do, WHAT would she do? All these questions stuck in her mind as the rest of the day flew by. In no time the end of the day was here, of course it wasn't the end of the day for her and Twilight. They both strolled down to the principal's office, holding hands in fear of what was to come, as big shock... Twi' had never received a detention before.

They entered through the double doors of the office hall and slowly pushed principal Celestia's door open.

"Hello girls, have a seat." she requested of the girls in the strong tone she used for students. The girls both sat down quickly as they were still in fear of what the woman would do.

'So, would you please explain to me why you two were late for miss Tube's class this morning so we can get this over with?" She snapped as the girls began.

"Well you see... we were just talking a bit before going to class but, we must have lost track of the time." Twilight rushed out as she could tell the whole room was in a hurry.

"Hm, well I don't see any reason to keep you here any longer, just know that this will go on your permanent record." the principal finished as she beckoned the girls to leave as the conversation ended.

The girls left calmly, but in an instance twi' began to hyperventilate as Jack looked stunned. The cow girl didn't know what to do the best she could do was ask "Are you ok?" as fast as she could until it began to end.

"No, no I am not ok. She just said this goes on our permanent record, that means every employer I meat is gonna know this, MY LIFE IS OVER!!" she yelled to the rest of the main office as Apple was more stunned than ever.

"Oh don't worry Sugarcube it's just one late detention, we didn't blow up the school, there's no way that any boss guy gonna care. You and me, we're gonna do fine, don't worry 'bout it twi'." Jack comforted the stressed girl.

With the day at its end the seven friends said goodbye to each other and left in their cars. With Jack and rainbow still talking before leaving, only five cars left in an instant that day.

"So, are you ready for the ROCKAPALOOZA opening night tonight? It's gonna be awesome, Three Days Grace always puts on a good show." Rainbow asked of her cowgirl bestie.

'Aw heck yeah, I can't wait to hear some music with more instruments than an acoustic guitar and a ten gallon hat." Apple exclaimed to to her rainbow haired friend.

They said goodbye and left in their separate cars, with the last gesture being a fist bump out their car windows. The night past as Apple waited for 9:25 to get here. Finale the clock came to the time, Apple expression couldn't have been happier. She waved good bye to the rest of her family as she raised out the door, but suddenly Applebloom appeared in front of her hugging both her legs to get her to stop.

"Oh, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE can I come with you big sis?" AppleBloom pleaded with her.

"Um, have you even heard of the people who are playing tonight? They aren't your regular country singer, these guys are true rockers, are you sure you can handle this kinda' thing, lil' sis." apple hastily tried to tell as she pried her off of her legs.

"Oh, please with how you don't lock your door, I Know who Three Days Grace is and they are awesome, come on let me come with." Bloom still wouldn't let up.

"Ok, Hand on... HEY GRANNY!! Can bloom come with me and Rainbow tonight for the concert?" Apple ashed of the old bumpkin.

"Ah sure, I ain't got the time to track her down if she sneaks out, save the dern' trouble, she can go." Granny yelled across the room as Jack and Bloom were out the door.

They both left in jacks Ford F150 to get to Rainbow's house.

"So who are we goin' with, big sis?" Bloomed questioned her sister.

"Oh, just rainbow, we're going to her house so we can all go to the concert in her porsche." Jack explained to her little sister.

"Wow she has a porsche! That is so awesome!" bloom exclaimed disting of her clothes to meet the rainbow haired girl.

They got to Rainbow's house quick as possible and left the truck in her driveway next to the porsche.

"hey Dash, you mind an extra passenger this time around?" Jack asked of her blue skinned friend.

"Na, There's room for one more in the car plus, I have a reason not to return this small of the shirts I got us for the concert." Rainbow relieved her friend. Rainbow handed the girls their shirts, That said "Tour To End All Tours" on it, they both put them on over their original shirts, but rainbow seemed to do something different.

"Um, Rainbow... what are you doing?" The Cowgirl questioned.

"What? You don't wanna be hot at the concert, do you?" she said as she removed her shirt to put on the other one. After a second they all got in the porsche with Rainbow in the driver's seat, Jack in shotgun, and Bloom in the back. The porsche shot out of the driveway like a bullet and headed toward the concert.

As they left the porch, they heard the loud roars of fans as they got near the stadium the concert was in. They all entered their tickets in the entrance bar and got to the mosh pit before most of the other fans to get a good look at the band members. The concert began with haste as Three Days Grace began with "Riot" and the acoustics went crazy as the fans did. The girls all bounced to the beat as the song went on. But suddenly jack felt a tap on her shoulder. It was AppleBloom, she... had to go to the restroom. with quick footing she showed as message to Rainbow explaining what she had to do. With an understanding nod by Rainbow, the Apples were off to little girls room. Just as they left the main mosh pit the band began to play "Break' as they left.

The restroom, not yet crowded as no grown up had to go yet, was easily accessible. The young cowgirl went as Jack stood outside waiting for it to be over so she could get back to ogling the singer, Matt Walst. Finale bloom had finished as the band began to play their third song, "Pain". The concert went on four more songs and ended at 12:00 AM. The girls began the long journey home from the concert with talks about how awesome the band was, and a few bits of gushing on the... cuteness of Matt. They all got to rainbows house and decided to end the night with a sleep over, Rainbow in her long T-shirt and PJ pants, Jack in her full body PJ's, and Bloom in her plain white gown. The girls all laid their heads down, Rainbow on her bed pillows, both apples on their sleeping bag pillows. But before Bloom could fully sleep she noticed something long, straight, and with a cord on one end under rainbow's bed. she payed it no mind and finale... went to sleep for the night.
