It is a normal day at Crystal Prep Academy and only a year away from the Friendship Games. Sour Sweet, the leader of the Shadowbolts, decides to have a little fun by stealing a spacecraft from Canterlot after a siege to go to another planet named...Geonosis? Uh-oh. Sour Sweet plays around by destroying the soldiers of the newly formed Confederacy of Independent Systems for their peace talks with the corrupt Galactic Republic. Will the CIS rise to talk with the Republic, or will Sour Sweet be responsible for a new galaxy without the CIS?

This takes place before My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Friendship Games and during the Separatist Crisis (24 BBY, before Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones)
