Fire Speed

The only thing I remember from my blood mother was her beautiful, silky mane I would usually sleep in her mane. But it was when a large storm came and separated me and my mother. It was the largest storm I’ve ever seen and none of the Pegasi could control the monstrous storm. My mother left me in the house to go help the other Pegasi stop the storm from destroying part of Equestria. And it was when an uncontrollable tornado came out of the Storm raging through the village that I once adored, ripping apart the houses that each pony lived in. and it was heading toward me. I quickly got up from the position that I was in and left the house but that was when my mother went in to look for me. I watched as my mother was sucked in the storm as the house was torn apart. I felt the pain my mother was feeling, being torn apart I cried with all my heart while she was sucked up in the storm. As the storm was torn apart I turned around and ran, ran as fast as I could at the same time with my eyes closed crying till I couldn’t cry anymore. It wasn’t that long that I stopped and rested, I had no idea where I was all I know is that I was far away from the village I once called home. There was no turning back now I had nothing to live for, so I started walking in one direction and didn’t stop.

It wasn’t long before I fell asleep, but during the time that I was dreaming about my mother and how much time I had been happy with her. It was the best dream I have ever had, one of those dreams you never want to wake up from. During the dream my mother was speaking to me. “Fire Speed never worry about the past only think about the future and never forget that I am always with you and I will always love you” she said in a soothing whisper. I wanted to tell her how much I love her but I didn’t know how and then that was when I felt something pick me up and I felt like whatever picked me up was traveling. I slowly opened my eyes seeing a unicorn carrying me in a very warm blanket, I paid no attention to it and just went back to sleep. It wasn’t long till I felt myself being pushed, I opened my eyes once more and I saw a small little filly pushing me to wake me up. Her flowing blue and light blue mane tickled my nose as her playful crimson eyes stared at me waiting for a reaction, she had white color to her body like me. I finally got up and my eyes wondered the house that I sat inside. I looked through the window and noticed that we were in a village I couldn’t tell how large it was because it was dark outside. And then the filly tackled me so playfully and started wrestling me down I tried to get away but she was to strong. Finally I saw the mare that carried me pick up the little filly that was on top of me and take her into a room, being curious I followed into the room and sat down at the doorway. She placed the playful filly in her bed and tucked her in. “Good night Vinyl dream good dreams tonight” she said in a loving voice. She turned around and turned off the light the small filly was out in an instant.

The Gray mare walked to the table where she prepared fruits of all sorts into a bowl, while I just stared at her still at the doorway. She put the bowl by my blanket where I was sleeping I walked over to the bowl and stuffed my face in the fruits. The fruits were so delicious I’ve never had such fruits in my life, back at my village we had only apples and pears but this was filled with more than that. When I was finished I sat down by the window and stared in the distance “What’s your name little one?” she asked. Being a little shy I said in a soft voice “Fire Speed”. “Well Fire Speed what were you doing out in the forest alone” “I was separated from my mother in a storm,” in my soft whisper. “Well do you want to live here for a while” she asked in a confident voice. My confused face turned into a smile and I replied with a nod. Well I think tomorrow you should get to know Vinyl she was a little playful today. I finally laid down in the blanket and fell asleep.
