Deaths True Light

The sun rose above canterlot castle, and for one black lantern it shone right in his face.

“Ow!” He said wincing. “Damn! This is why I like the dark, it doesn't hurt your eyes.”  Alexander was now living at canterlot castle thanks to the kindness and generosity of the two who ironically sealed him, and his girlfriend away in stone.  Alexander looked to where his girlfriend Elizabeth was sleeping, the night before was one of the most fun he'd had in over a 1000 years. He turned to his sleeping girlfriend and began to wake her up. “Liz… come on honey, it's time to wake up.” He said shaking her out of her sleep.

“Good morning Alex, did you sleep well?” Elizabeth asked with a small smile on her face

as she sat up.

“Yes, it was wonderful.” He said kissing her. “So what are you going to do today?”

Alexander asked her.

“Well… I was going to go to ponyville and see if Rarity or any pony wanted to go to the spa.” She answered him.

“Ok then, I  was going into ponyville two, in order to  talk to Applebloom.” He said.

“About what?” Elizabeth asked her boyfriend.

“When we were flying back here last night I noticed a green lantern ring fly into sweet

apple acres.” He said smiling to his not so surprised girlfriend.  “Then I saw it go to Applebloom, she didn't put it on thought she just grabbed it and went home. I'm going to go over there to see if she'll put it on, that way she can go to owa and get trained. I was going to go with her in order to be sure she's safe, i'm also going to bring the red ring with me so i can tell the guardians about Celestia destroying the corp and try to get her off the hook.”  He finished explaining as they left their room and began heading to the dining room for breakfast.

“Ok, be safe.” Elizabeth said as they entered the dining room and took seats next to

Celestia and Luna. “Hi sunbutt, hi moonbutt.” Elizabeth said happily.

Celestia just rolled her eyes and ordered the guards to bring in breakfast. “So… i hope

everything was alright with the room? By the reports the staff gave me it was quite the eventful evening.”

Elizabeth and Alexander both just smirked and nodded their heads as the food was

brought in. Luna began to eat her strawberry pancakes before asking the two lanterns. “What are thee doing today?” She asked.

“Were going to ponyville.” Alexander said. “Elizabeth is going to see if

rarity or anypony wants to go to the spa, and i'm going to see Applebloom. I believe that a lantern ring came to her and I'm going to see if my suspicion is correct.” He said finishing his chocolate chip pancakes.

Luna was surprised to hear that Applebloom might be a lantern, but Celestia

nodded in understanding. “So this is what you two meant when Elizabeth told Applejack ‘you'll see~’ correct?”

“Yup, ready to go?” Alexander asked Elizabeth as she finished her banana pancakes.

“Yup.” She said getting up and going with him out the door to the gardens. The two of them charged their rings and flew off to ponyville.

The two of them got to ponyville and said goodbye. Alexander flew to sweet Apple acres  and found Applebloom sitting at the old CMC clubhouse.

“Hey Applebloom, what you doing?” Alexander said startling her.

“Oh… Hey Alexander. What do you want?” Applebloom asked.

“Just came by to see if you had put on your green lantern ring yet.” Alexander said landing.

“H-how did you know?” Applebloom asked.

“Simple… I saw the ring fly to you.” Alexander replied.

“Oh… I'm not sure if i should put it on or not.” Applebloom said.

“Oh you're scared.” Alexander said jokingly but to Applebloom she thought he was making fun of her.

“NO AH AIN'T I'LL SHOW YA!!” Applebloom shouted putting on the ring. The ring began to glow and emanate a strange energy. “What happenin!!”

“APPLEBLOOM!!” The two of them looked to see Applejack and the other elements running towards them along with Elizabeth.

“APPLEJACK HELP ME!!” Applebloom said with tears.

“No don't.” Alexander said making them stop. “Applebloom, I know you're in pain but you

need to bear with it. its how green lantern rings get you to Owa,”

After Alexander said this the ring emitted a bubble around both himself and Applebloom. The bubble was beginning to lift off of the ground.

“Well this is interesting, why is the bubble around me?” Alexander said as it lifted higher and higher.

“APPLEBLOOM!! ALEXANDER YOU BETTER NOT LET ANYTHING HAPPEN TO MY SISTER!”  Applejack shouted as they fly off into space.

The two of them flew off at an unimaginable speed. They rushed past many: planets, asteroids, and stares until they ended up in a tunnel like space.

“Well… I didn't know green lantern rings could perform a hyper jump.” Alexander said as Applebloom was clinging to his for help standing.

“G-gr-green lantern rings can`t normally perform hyper jumps?” Applebloom asked.

“I thought they couldn't, but it appears that some do.” Alexander said as the tunnel began to disappear. “Looks like we're almost there.”

Once Alexander said this the portal disappeared and the two of them were now in the orbit of a great dig greenish planet.

“Whoa.” Was all Applebloom said as she stared at the new planet.

“Welcome Green lantern Applebloom, To owa the green lantern homeworld.” Alexander said with a smile.
