Theft in Equestria's castles and supernatural distaters at Canterlot High literally vanished when Sunset Shimmer was defeated and transformed into a better girl. Diamond Tiara and Lurk, a Crystal Prep student, kidnap human Twilight. Sunset Shimmer confronts them, but can have Twilight free only if Sunset performs one task: steal 50 kg worth of expensive jewelry and have them deposited in a secret warehouse room by 7 a.m. Sunday morning. With Diamond Tiara and Lurk threatening to kill her and human Twilight, and the police unit breathing down her neck, Sunset reassembles her friends and attempts to pull off the logistically impossible.
